The method comprises: sending towards a SMF node, a request relating to a PDU Session of the UE and comprising a Request Type that is set to Existing PDU Session; and receiving from the SMF node, a response comprising a Generic Public Subscription Identifier (GPSI) of the PDU session, which GPSI is associated with the SUPI and which GPSI is to be used in networks outside the 5GS for addressing the subscription data of the UE.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for enhancement to an internet protocol (IP) multimedia subsystem (IMS). According to an embodiment, an application server (AS) of the IMS receives from a terminal device a first request for initiating a call service and an internet service which are to be integrated with each other. The AS of the IMS sends a second request for initiating the internet service to a gateway server that acts as a gateway to an internet AS capable of providing the internet service. In response to a reply from the gateway server, the AS of the IMS handles the first request based on the reply.

Abstract: The present disclosure concerns managing mobility and emergency handling by receiving a mobility message from a second entity for managing access and mobility, wherein the mobility message carries a data network identifier for an IP connectivity; determining that the data network identifier in the received mobility message is an emergency data network identifier, based on emergency data network identifiers contained in emergency configuration data with which the first entity for managing access and mobility is configured; and determining that the IP connectivity is established for an emergency service.

Abstract: A method performed by a network node for transferring Protocol Data Unit (PDU) sessions of a UE during a mobility procedure in which the UE is moved from a 5GS to an Evolved Packet System (EPS) is disclosed. The method comprises one or more of determining that a target Mobility Management Entity (MME) for the mobility procedure in the EPS supports a first number of EPS Bearers that is less than a second number of EPS Bearer Identities (EBIs) assigned to a number of PDU sessions (e.g., and their associated Quality of Service (QoS) Flows) of the UE that are to be transferred from the 5GS to the EPS; determining which of the PDU sessions and/or QoS Flows of the UE are not to be transferred to the target MME; and releasing, requesting the release of or initiating release of the PDU sessions and/or QoS Flows that are not to be transferred to the target MME.

Abstract: A method at an Access and mobility Management Function (AMF) for facilitating a Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session procedure for a User Equipment (UE) in a 5th Generation System (5GS) network, wherein the 5GS network is interworking with an Evolved Packet System (EPS) network, and a Packet Data Network Gateway Control plane Function+Session Management Function (PGW-C+SMF) supporting the interworking is selected for managing the PDU session. The method comprises determining whether the PDU session supports interworking with the EPS network, based on at least one of a capability of the UE and a subscription data of the UE; and sending an indication which indicates whether the PDU session supports interworking with the EPS network to the PGW-C+SMF.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments include a method, performed by a session management function (V-SMF) of a visited public land mobile network (VPLMN), for establishing a user-requested PDU session to be routed through the user's home PLMN (HPLMN). Such embodiments include receiving, from an access management function (AMF) in the HPLMN, a first request to establish a home-routed PDU session, wherein the first request identifies an SMF (H-SMF) in the HPLMN. Such embodiments also include sending, to the H-SMF, a second request to create the home-routed PDU session. The second request can include an identifier of a resource in the V-SMF associated with the PDU session; and one or more indicators of whether the V-SMF supports respective one or more features related to receiving, from the H-SMF, an identifier of a resource in the H-SMF that is associated with the PDU session. Embodiments also include complementary methods performed by the H-SMF.

Abstract: Method and apparatus in which a network exposure node receives, from a server, a first request for monitoring communication failure for at least one terminal device. The network exposure node obtains a connection identity (ID) for identifying a connection between the at least one terminal device and the server, based on the received first request.
