Abstract: An expansion board that can be inserted into a first memory slot is provided. The expansion board includes a circuit board, a number of second memory slots, a frequency divider, and an edge connector. The second memory slots and the frequency divider are arranged on the circuit board. The edge connector is set on a side of the circuit board to engage in the first memory slot. The second memory slots and the frequency divider are coupled to the edge connector, to communicate with the first memory slot via the edge connector.

Abstract: The present invention provides an alginate oligosaccharide and its derivatives with the degree of polymerization ranging from 2 to 22. The alginate oligosaccharide is composed of ?-D-mannuronic acid linked by 1,4 glycosidic bonds. The derivatives with the reduced terminal in position 1 of carboxyl radical can be prepared by oxidative degradation. The present invention also provides a process for preparing the alginate oligosaccharide and its derivatives, which includes the procedures that an alginate solution is reacted for 2 to 6 h in an autoclave at pH 2-6 and the temperature of 100-120° C., and pH is adjusted to 7 after the reaction is stopped, after which the resultant oligosaccharide is oxidized in the presence of an oxidant to obtain an oxidative degradation product. The alginate oligosaccharide and its derivatives of the invention can be used in the manufacture of a medicament for the prophylaxis and treatment of AD and diabetes.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for preparing accessory cells, said accessory cells may themselves be used for preparing activated NK cells that may be used in various therapeutic protocols (e.g. cancer treatment). Abstract: A Universal Serial Bus (USB) hub includes a USB input, a number of USB outputs, a USB controller, a power processing module, and an alarm. The USB controller controls data transmission between a connected USB device connected to the USB output and a computer. The power processing module obtains a power of each USB output and sums the power of all the USB outputs. The power processing module further compares a preset power value with the sum of the power. When the sum of the power is greater than the preset power value, the power processing module outputs a control signal to activate the alarm.

Abstract: A fan test system includes a control module. The control module includes a temperature-speed table storing standard speeds at different temperatures of a fan, a counter loaded with a default value, and a fan speed control unit setting the time interval for obtaining the actual speed of a fan corresponding to a certain temperature. The fan speed control unit obtains the actual speed of the fan at every interval time, and determines whether the speeds obtained at predetermined continuous interval times are equal. The fan speed control unit obtains the standard speed of the fan according to the certain temperature if the speeds are equal. It indicates the fan is qualified in response to the actual speed being equal to the standard speed.

Abstract: The present invention provides bioactive bone cements that not only have sufficient radiopacity, low physiological toxicity, and requisite mechanism strength, but also promote local bone in-growth. The bone cement utilizes strontium salts as radiopacifiers, and comprises a powder component and a liquid component. In an embodiment, the powder component comprises a strontium salt, poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA), and a polymerization initiator; and the liquid component comprises methyl methacrylate (MMA) as reactive monomers and a polymerization accelerator.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, a method for bandwidth allocation includes receiving at least a first traffic flow and a second traffic flow, each traffic flow including at least committed information rate (CIR) and excess information rate (EIR) parameters. The CIR parameter in each traffic flow is associated with a corresponding guaranteed pass-through rate. The first traffic flow and the second traffic flow are stored in first and second queues, respectively. The first queue is associated with a first provisioned weight, and the second queue is associated with a second provisioned weight. The method further includes scheduling downstream transmission of the first traffic flow and second traffic flow stored in the first and second queues according to at least first and second implementation weights that are determined based on a bandwidth of a downstream communication link, a CIR parameter of the first queue, a CIR parameter of the second queue, and each of the first and second provisioned weights.
