GRINDING WHEEL

A grinding wheel has a base ring, a positioning disk disposed on the base ring, a grinding cloth assembly disposed on the positioning disk, and an upper ring disposed on the grinding cloth assembly. The positioning disk has an upper annular flange and a circular hole. The upper ring has a round hole. The grinding cloth assembly has a first grinding cloth disk, a second grinding cloth disk, and a third grinding cloth disk adhered together. The upper annular flange passes through the first grinding cloth disk, the second grinding cloth disk, and the third grinding cloth disk to be inserted in the round hole of the upper ring.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to a grinding wheel. More particularly, the present invention relates to a grinding wheel which has a grinding cloth assembly.

[0002] Referring to FIG. 1, a conventional grinding wheel has a base disk 4′, a positioning disk 3′ disposed on the base disk 4′, a grinding cloth disk 1′ disposed on the positioning disk 3′, and an upper ring 2′ disposed on the grinding cloth disk 1′. The base disk 4′ has a center hole 41′ and an annular recess 42′. The positioning disk 3′ has an upper annular flange 32′ and a circular hole 31′. The upper ring 2′ has a round hole 21′. The grinding cloth disk 1′ has a large number of grinding cloth plates 11′ adhered together to form a through hole 10′. Each of the grinding cloth plates 11′ has an end notch 12′. The upper annular flange 32′ passes through the through hole 10′ of the grinding cloth disk 1′ to be inserted in the round hole 21′ of the upper ring 2′. However, it is difficult to adhere a large number of grinding cloth plates 11′ together. Furthermore, the arrangement of the grinding cloth plates 11′ should be performed manually.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0003] An object of the present invention is to provide a grinding wheel which has a grinding cloth assembly to be reinforced with a simple structure.

[0004] Another object of the present invention is to provide a grinding wheel which has a grinding cloth assembly to be manufactured easily.

[0005] Accordingly, a grinding wheel comprises a base ring, a positioning disk disposed on the base ring, a grinding cloth assembly disposed on the positioning disk, and an upper ring disposed on the grinding cloth assembly. The base ring has a center hole. The positioning disk has an upper annular flange and a circular hole. The upper ring has a round hole. The grinding cloth assembly has a first grinding cloth disk, a second grinding cloth disk disposed on the first grinding cloth disk, a third grinding cloth disk disposed on the second grinding cloth disk, and the first grinding cloth disk, the second grinding cloth disk, and the third grinding cloth disk interlapped together. The first grinding cloth disk has a first through hole, a plurality of first fissures, and a plurality of first splinters. The second grinding cloth disk has a second through hole, a plurality of second fissures, and a plurality of second splinters. The third grinding cloth disk has a third through hole, a plurality of third fissures, and a plurality of third splinters. The upper annular flange passes through the first through hole of the first grinding cloth disk, the second through hole of the second grinding cloth disk, and the third through hole of the third grinding cloth disk to be inserted in the round hole of the upper ring.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0010] Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3, a grinding wheel of the present invention comprises a base ring 4, a positioning disk 3 disposed on the base ring 4, a grinding cloth assembly 1 disposed on the positioning disk 3, and an upper ring 2 disposed on the grinding cloth assembly 1.

[0011] The base ring 4 has a center hole 40.

[0012] The positioning disk 3 has an upper annular flange 30 and a circular hole 300.

[0013] The upper ring 2 has a round hole 20.

[0014] The grinding cloth assembly 1 has a first grinding cloth disk 13, a second grinding cloth disk 12 disposed on the first grinding cloth disk 13, a third grinding cloth disk 11 disposed on the second grinding cloth disk 12, and the first grinding cloth disk 13, the second grinding cloth disk 12, and the third grinding cloth disk 11 interlapped together.

[0015] The first grinding cloth disk 13 has a first through hole 130, a plurality of first radiated fissures 131, and a plurality of first splinters 132.

[0016] The second grinding cloth disk 12 has a second through hole 120, a plurality of second radiated fissures 121, and a plurality of second splinters 122.

[0017] The third grinding cloth disk 11 has a third through hole 110, a plurality of third radiated fissures 111, and a plurality of third splinters 112.

[0018] The upper annular flange 30 passes through the first through hole 130 of the first grinding cloth disk 13, the second through hole 120 of the second grinding cloth disk 12, and the third through hole 110 of the third grinding cloth disk 11 to be inserted in the round hole 20 of the upper ring 2.

[0019] The first splinters 132, the second splinters 122, and the third splinters 112 are interlapped and adhered together to reinforce the grinding cloth assembly 1.

[0020] The present invention is not limited to the above embodiment but various modification thereof may be made. Furthermore, various changes in form and detail may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.

Claims

1. A grinding wheel comprises:

a base ring, a positioning disk disposed on the base ring, a grinding cloth assembly disposed on the positioning disk, and an upper ring disposed on the grinding cloth assembly,
the base ring having a center hole,
the positioning disk having an upper annular flange and a circular hole,
the upper ring having a round hole,
the grinding cloth assembly having a first grinding cloth disk, a second grinding cloth disk disposed on the first grinding cloth disk, a third grinding cloth disk disposed on the second grinding cloth disk, and the first grinding cloth disk, the second grinding cloth-disk, and the third grinding cloth disk interlapped together,
the first grinding cloth disk having a first through hole, a plurality of first radiated fissures, and a plurality of first splinters,
the second grinding cloth disk having a second through hole, a plurality of second radiated fissures, and a plurality of second splinters,
the third grinding cloth disk having a third through hole, a plurality of third radiated fissures, and a plurality of third splinters, and
the upper annular flange passing through the first through hole of the first grinding cloth disk, the second through hole of the second grinding cloth disk, and the third through hole of the third grinding cloth disk to be inserted in the round hole of the upper ring.

2. The grinding wheel as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first splinters, the second splinters, and the third splinters are interlapped and adhered together.
