Power expander

A power expander being adapted of counting times of breast expanding, it comprises a first and a second handle, a slide seat, a plurality of elastic members and a counter, wherein the slide seat is connected to the first handle to be movable relatively within a limited range; one end of each of the elastic members is connected to a second handle, the other end is connected to the slide seat; the counting member is connected to the slide seat to contact an actuating member of the first handle. Thereby, when a user exerts force on the first and the second handle to stretch the elastic members, elastic members move the slide seat; the slide seat is moved relatively to the first handle, the actuating member contacts to press the counting member to do a counting action.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a power expander, and more particularly to a power expander that can accurately count the times of breast expanding in order to get an object of gradually training.

2. Description of the Prior Art

Sustained training with weights not only can help users to build up muscle power to make muscles strong, but also can increase power of bodies, get better form of the muscles, and avoid problems in physical functions resulted from fat bodies. Using a power expander can get evident effects in basic physical trainings on the muscles of shoulders, backs and for breast expanding.

A conventional power expander mainly includes a plurality of elongate elastic members and two elongate pipe-like handles, two ends of each elastic member connects with a handle, in order that when a user can exert forces on the handles to overcome the pulling back force of the elastic members, the elastic members are elongated for the purpose of muscle training and increasing power of muscles.

However, when in muscle training, a user often stretches the elastic members quickly or concentrates on exerting force for exercise and thereby can not care for counting the times of expanding. And thereby he generally is unable to get a standard for comparison in training and for accurately controlling for achieving the object of exercise gradually in a sequence.

In view of this, and in order to get rid of the above defects and to not only make the power expander capable of counting the times of spreading to get the effect of muscle training and plastic modeling, but also capable of counting accurately to get a standard for comparison in training and for achieving the object of exercise gradually in a sequence. The inventor thus provided the present invention based on his professional experience of years in studying, developing and improving over the conventional training equipments.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary object of the present invention is to provide a power expander capable of counting the times of spreading, in which by providing a structure having a counting member on a slide seat able to move relatively and on the slide seat on a first handle and having an actuating member on the first handle, when a user stretches the elastic members to pull and move the slide seat, the actuating member can press the counting member to do counting to build up a standard for comparison in training.

For achieving the above object, the power expander capable of counting times of the present invention comprises a slide seat, a plurality of elastic members and a counting member. Wherein the slide seat is connected to the first handle to be movable relatively within a limited range, the first handle has an actuating member; one end of each of the elastic members is connected to a second handle, the other end is connected to the slide seat; the counting member is connected to the slide seat to contact the actuating member.

When in practicing, the slide seat is provided with a through hole in order that the actuating member of the first handle presses the counting member after extending through of the actuating member.

And when in practicing, the counting member includes a counter, an engaging member and an upper lid; the counter is connected to the top of the slide seat, and is provided with a push button; the engaging member is pivotally connected to the upper lid, one end of the engaging member contacts the actuating member, the other end is kept a predetermined distance from the push button, in order when the elastic members and the slide seat are pulled, the actuating member abuts against the engaging member, thus the engaging member rotates to press the push button to do counting.

And when in practicing, one end of the slide seat is provided with a plurality of positioning grooves for respectively positioning the elastic members; one end of each elastic member is abutted against the inner side on an end of the first handle. Two lateral sides of the slide seat are provided each with a first rail which has a limiting portion, while two lateral sides of the first handle are provided each with a second rail which has a guiding portion; the first and the second rails on each of the lateral sides cooperate with each other, and the guiding portions and the limiting portions on each of the lateral sides cooperate with each other too, so that the slide seat can slide relatively to the first handle.

The present invention will be more apparent after reading the detailed description of the preferred embodiment thereof in reference to the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to FIGS. 1-5 showing a preferred embodiment of a power expander 1 that can count the times of pulling of the present invention, it comprises a first handle 2 and a second handle 2′, a slide seat 3, a counting member 4, a cover 5 and a plurality of elastic members 6.

The first handle 2 is in the shape of a rectangular frame, a rear portion of it is provided for holding by a user, the two lateral sides of the first handle 2 each has a rectangular protrusion functioning as second rails 21, the second rails 21 each has a protruding block functioning as a guiding portion 22. A front end portion of the first handle 2 is provided with an elongate opening 23 and an elongate actuating member 24 protruding rearwards from an inner side of the front end portion.

Referring simultaneously to FIGS. 2 and 4, the slide seat 3 is generally in the form of a rectangular bar, and is provided with a plurality of lined up round positioning through holes 31 and a rectangular through hole 32, the front side of the slide seat 3 is provided with four round positioning grooves 33 arranged in a rectangular form, each positioning grooves 33 is placed therein with a spring as an elastic member 34. And the left side and the right side of the slide seat 3 are provided each with a recess and a slide groove, these recesses are used as first rails 35, the slide grooves are used as limiting portions 36.

Referring simultaneously to FIGS. 2 and 5, the counting member 4 includes a counter 41, an engaging member 42 and an upper lid 43, the counter 41 is covered with the upper lid 43 and is connected onto the top of the slide seat 3; the bottom of the upper lid 43 is provided with a pair of lugs 431 at opposite positions, the two lugs 431 each has an axle hole 432. The counter 41 is provided thereon with a push button 411 which is connected with an electric circuit board (not shown) and a displaying screen 412, each time the push button 411 is pressed, the displaying screen 412 will display adding 1; and the engaging member 42 is a bended arciform sheet including thereon a round hole 421, in order that when an axle 422 is extended through the round hole 421 and the axle hole 432, it is pivotally connected with the two lugs 431 of the upper lid 43 (as shown in FIG. 3), so that the engaging member 42 can be rotated.

The elastic members 6 are stretchable rubbers, and can be made from springs or other like materials. The front ends of the elastic members 6 are lined and connected with the second handle 2′, while the rear ends are respectively positioned in the positioning through holes 31 of the slide seat 3. The mode of positioning is conventional, and hereby will not be narrated further more.

When in assembling, the front ends of the elastic members 6 are extended out of the elongate opening 23 provided on the front end portion of the first handle 2, and are positioned in the positioning through holes 31 of the slide seat 3. The slide seat 3 is built in a space framed by the first handle 2 to make the first rails 35 matched with the second rails 21, and is pushed frontwards from rear to place the guiding portions 22 of the first handle 2 in the limiting portions 36 of the slide seat 3, then the cover 5 can cover the rear end of the slide seat 3. At this time, the front ends of the four elastic members 34 provided on the front side of the slide seat 3 are abutted against the inner side of the front side of the first handle 2 to form an expansion space between the front side of the slide seat 3 and the inside of the front end portion of the first handle 2, so that the slide seat 3 can be moved relatively to the first handle 2 in a limited range. And in assembling of the first handle 2 with the slide seat 3, when the upper lid 43 of the counting member 4 covers the top of the counter 41 and the slide seat 3, the elongate actuating member 24 of the first handle 2 is extended through the rectangular through hole 32 of the slide seat 3 to contact the lower end of the engaging member 42 and to make the upper end of the engaging member 42 kept a predetermined distance from the push button 411 of the counter 41.

Referring to FIGS. 3 and 6, before a user pulls to stretch the elastic members 6, by the elastic force provided by the four elastic members 34 provided between the front side of the slide seat 3 and the inner side of the front side of the first handle 2, the slide seat 3 and the first handle 2 are not moved relatively to each other, and the upper end of the engaging member 42 on the counting member 4 is kept a predetermined distance from the push button 411 of the counter 41, thus the counter 41 has no action of counting. And when the user exerts force on the first and the second handle 2, 2′ to stretch the elastic members 6, the elastic members 6 will move the slide seat 3 and compress the elastic members 34, so that the distance between the front end of the slide seat 3 and the front end portion of the first handle 2 can be shortened; meantime, the elongate actuating member 24 of the first handle 2 is moved relatively to the slide seat 3, the lower end of the engaging member 42 can thus be pushed to rotate, and the upper end of the engaging member 42 can press the push button 411 of the counter 41 to do a counting action. When the user continuously pulls the elastic members 6, the push button 411 is continuously pressed to count the times of stretching or breast expanding.

Therefore, the present invention can provide an action of counting when in stretching to get a standard for comparison in training.

In conclusion, according to the description disclosed above, the present invention surely can get the expected objects thereof to provide a power expander that not only can get the effect of muscle training and plastic modeling, but also can accurately count times to get a standard for comparison in training; the present invention is extremely valuable practically.

The above stated is only for illustrating the embodiments and their technical means in use of the present invention, it will be apparent to those skilled in this art that various equivalent modifications or changes according to the idea disclosed and teaching in the specification without departing from the spirit of this invention shall also fall within the scope of the appended claims.

Claims

1. A power expander being adapted of counting times of breast expanding comprising:

a slide seat connected to a first handle to be movable relatively within a limited range, said first handle having an actuating member;
a plurality of elastic members, one end of each of them being connected to a second handle, other end of each of them being connected to said slide seat; and
a counting member connected to said slide seat to contact said actuating member; thereby when a user exerting forces on said two handles to stretch said elastic members, said actuating member of said first handle moving relatively to said slide seat to press said counting member to do time counting.

The power expander being adapted of counting times of breast expanding as claimed in claim 1, wherein said counting member includes a counter, an engaging member and an upper lid; said counter is connected to a top of said slide seat, and is provided with a push button; said engaging member is pivotally connected to said upper lid, one end of said engaging member contacts said actuating member, other end of said engaging member is kept a predetermined distance from said push button, in order when said elastic members and said slide seat are pulled, said actuating member abuts against said engaging member, thus said engaging member rotates to press said push button to do counting.

The power expander being adapted of counting times of breast expanding as claimed in claim 1, wherein one end of said slide seat is provided with a plurality of positioning grooves for respectively positioning said elastic members; one end of each of said elastic members is abutted against an inner side on an end of said first handle.

4. The power expander being adapted of counting times of breast expanding as claimed in claim 3, wherein said elastic members are springs.

The power expander being adapted of counting times of breast expanding as claimed in claim 1, wherein two lateral sides of said slide seat are provided each with a first rail which has a limiting portion, while two lateral sides of said first handle are provided each with a second rail which has a guiding portion; said first and said second rails on each of said lateral sides cooperate with each other, and said guiding portions and said limiting portions on each of said lateral sides cooperate with each other too, so that said slide seat slides relatively to said first handle.

The power expander being adapted of counting times of breast expanding as claimed in claim 3, wherein two lateral sides of said slide seat are provided each with a first rail which has a limiting portion, while two lateral sides of said first handle are provided each with a second rail which has a guiding portion; said first and said second rails on each of said lateral sides cooperate with each other, and said guiding portions and said limiting portions on each of said lateral sides cooperate with each other too, so that said slide seat slides relatively to said first handle.

7. The power expander being adapted of counting times of breast expanding as claimed in claim 5, wherein said limiting portions are slide grooves, said guiding portions are protruding blocks adapted to sliding in said slide grooves.

8. The power expander being adapted of counting times of breast expanding as claimed in claim 1, wherein said power expander has a cover covering a rear end of said slide seat.

9. The power expander being adapted of counting times of breast expanding as claimed in claim 1, wherein said slide seat is provided with a through hole in order that said actuating member of said first handle contacts to press said counting member after extending through of said actuating member.
