PRESS LIPSTICK ASSEMBLY

A press lipstick assembly includes a case, leap stick, cap, and a driving mechanism. The case includes a lower case and an upper case arranged to an upper end of the lower case. The columned lipstick is arranged inside the upper case and capable of being pushed out from the upper case. The cap can cover upon the upper case. The driving mechanism has a push button exposed out of a lower end of the lower case for being pressed. The lipstick will be raised up with a predetermined distance by a singe press of the push button so that the use of the lipstick is well controlled. Through above components, the press lipstick assembly is portable and easy to handle.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to cosmetics, and particular to a portable press lipstick assembly which is easy to handle and with good control of use.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Prior lipsticks are usually pushed out from the assembly by rotating a case thereof for being used. However, unexpected operations are easily happened by interference when the assembly is stored in a purse or in a hand bag. The lipstick being unexpected pushed out could touch the cap of the assembly which is a waste and is not easy to clean. It is even disturbed that the excess of lipstick could contaminate user while the cap is removed. Furthermore, the rotation of the case needs to be done by two hands, more time and strength are needed for the operation and the use of the lipstick is not easily controlled.

Therefore, based on thoughtful conceptions and constructive improvement, the inventor provides the present invention against the disadvantages of the prior art.

SUMMARY OF THE PRESENT INVENTION

Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a portable press lipstick assembly which is easy to handle and having a good control of use.

To achieve the above object, the present invention has a shape of a pen. The assembly requires a certain force to push for driving the lipstick so that an unexpected operation during carrying can be prevented. The push operation can be done by one hand so that the assembly is easy to handle. Especially, the lipstick will be pushed out with a fixed increment every single press so that the user can easily control the use of the lipstick.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In order that those skilled in the art can further understand the present invention, a description will be provided in the following in details. However, these descriptions and the appended drawings are only used to cause those skilled in the art to understand the objects, features, and characteristics of the present invention, but not to be used to confine the scope and spirit of the present invention defined in the appended claims.

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, a preferable embodiment of a press lipstick assembly according to the present invention includes a case 1, lipstick 2, cap 3, and a driving mechanism 4.

The case 1 includes a lower case 10 and an upper case 11. An upper portion of the lower case 10 is connected to a lower portion of the upper case 11. A top of the upper case 11 has an oblique open, and a plurality of half-dome protrusions 12 is formed to a peripheral of the upper case 11.

The lipstick 2 formed as a column is arranged inside the upper case 11 and can be slid along the upper case 11. The lipstick 2 can be exposed out of the top of the upper case 11 so as to be used.

The cap 3 having a protruding ring 30 on an inner wall thereof serves to cover upon the upper case 11. The protruding ring 30 having an arc cross-section will be stuck by the protrusions 12 while the cap 3 is covered upon the upper case 11 so that the cap 3 is not easy to be removed from the upper case 11.

The driving mechanism 4 is arranged to a lower end of the lower case 10 to raise the lipstick 2 upward with a predetermined distance by pressing.

In the embodiment, the driving mechanism 4 includes a retaining sleeve 40, retaining block 41, lead screw 42, lipstick holder 43, axial pusher 44, rotary slider 45, compression spring 46, and a push button 47.

The retaining sleeve 40 is arranged to the lower end of the lower case 10. A ring flange 400 is formed to a middle section of an inner wall of the retaining sleeve 40. A plurality of rib 401 extending from an upper edge of the ring flange 400 is formed to the inner wall of the retaining sleeve 40 with a predetermined gap between. A groove 402 is formed between adjacent ribs 401. A sloping guide 403 is formed to an upper end of each rib 401. All the sloping guides 403 slope toward a same direction. A plurality of retaining slot 404 is formed to an upper end of the retaining sleeve 40.

The retaining block 41 has a plurality of buckle 410 on a peripheral thereof for being embedded into the retaining slots 404 of the retaining sleeve 40. The retaining block 41 has a threaded hole 411 penetrating from a top to bottom thereof.

The lead screw 42 is arranged through the threaded hole 411 of the retaining block 41. Two spacing surfaces 420 are formed oppositely to a peripheral of the lead screw 42.

The lipstick holder 43 is arranged to a top of the lead screw 42 and is rotatable. The lipstick holder 43 is inside the upper case 11 and a bottom of the lipstick 2 is placed on the lipstick holder 43.

The axial pusher 44 is hollow and a plurality of protruding guide 440 is formed to an upper peripheral of the axial pusher 44 so that the plurality of the protruding guide 440 can be slid into the grooves 402 of the retaining sleeve 40. Two slopes 441 extend from a central top of the protruding guide 440 towards adjacent protruding guides 440 respectively. The bottoms of the slopes 441 of adjacent protruding guides 440 are connected together.

The rotary slider 45 is arranged inside the retaining sleeve 40 and above the axial pusher 44. The rotary slider 45 has a through hole 450 on a top thereof for being penetrated by the lead screw 42. The through hole 450 has two positioning surfaces 451 for blocking the two spacing surfaces 420 of the lead screw 42 so that the lead screw 42 can only slide along the through hole 450 without rotating in the through hole 450. A plurality of clutch 452 is formed around a peripheral of the rotary slider 45, and the clutch 452 is slid into the grooves 402 of the retaining sleeve 40. An oblique slide 453 is formed to a lower end of each clutch 452. The clutch 452 can slide along the slope 441 of the protruding guide 440 and along the sloping guide 403 of the rib 401 by the slide 453.

The compression spring 46 is arranged between the retaining block 41 and the rotary slider 45 so as to provide a downward force to the rotary slider 45.

The push button 47 is arranged to a lower portion of the retaining sleeve 40, and the push button 47 can axially move along the retaining sleeve 40. An upper end of the push button 47 is connected to the axial pusher 44, and a lower end of the push button 47 is exposed outside the retaining sleeve 40.

Referring to FIGS. 3 to 7, the operation of the press lipstick assembly is illustrated. While the push button 47 is pressed, the axial pusher 44 will be pushed upward by the push button 47 as shown in FIG. 4. While the clutches 452 of the rotary slider 45 in the groove 462 are pushed out of the groove 402 by the protruding guides 440 of the rotary slider 44, the slides 453 of the clutches 452 will slide along the slopes 441 of the axial pusher 44 onto the sloping guides 403 of the next ribs 401. The clutches 452 will be stuck in the bottoms of the slopes 441 as shown in FIG. 5. After releasing the push button 47, the clutches 452 will push the axial pusher 44 by the restoring force of the compression spring 46 so that the protruding guides 440 of the axial pusher 44 will be lowered back to the grooves 402 as shown in FIG. 6. The clutches 452 will further slide into the grooves 402 through the sloping guides 403 so that the rotary slider 45 will be rotated with a predetermined angle as shown in FIG. 7.

While the rotary slider 45 rotated, the lead screw 42 will be rotated with the same angle in the same time so that the lead screw 42 threaded to the retaining block 41 will have an axial upward displacement. The lipstick holder 43 above the retaining block 41 will also be raised up with a predetermined distance so that the lipstick 2 can be pushed out of the upper case 11 for being used as shown in FIG. 3. More lipstick 2 can be pushed out by another press of the push button 47 when needed.

By the press method and direction of the push button 47, the push button 47 required a certain force to push for driving out the lipstick 2 so as to prevent an unexpected operation. The press operation can be done by one hand so that the present invention is easy to handle and portable. Especially, the lipstick 2 will be pushed out with fixed increment every single push so that the user can easily control the use of the lipstick 2.

Referring to FIGS. 8 and 9, another embodiment of the present invention is illustrated. The major difference of the embodiment is that the cap 3 has a LED 50, battery 51, and a conducting component 52. A power pin of the LED is electrically connected to a positive electrode of the battery 51. The LED 50 will project light from an open of the cap 3 while powered by the battery 51. The conducting component 52 has a fixed section 53 and a flexible section 54. The fixed section 53 is electrically connected to a negative electrode of the battery 51, and the flexible section 54 extending from the fixed section 53 can elastically sway with a predetermined angle.

While the cap 3 is removed from the upper case 11, the flexible section 54 will contact another power pin of the LED 50 so as to light up the LED 50. While the cap 3 is put back to the upper case 11, the flexible section 54 will be pressed off the power pin of the LED 50 so as to power off the LED 50. Therefore, the LED 50 can be operated for illumination.

The cap 3 can be equipped by a switch (not shown) to turn on and off the LED 50 in the present invention which will not be described in detail.

The present invention is thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.

Claims

1. A press lipstick assembly comprising:

a case having a lower case and an upper case; the upper case being arranged to an upper end of the lower case;
a columned lipstick arranged inside the upper case; the lipstick being pushed out of an upper end of the upper case;
a cap covering the upper case; and
a driving mechanism arranged to a lower portion of the lower case; the driving mechanism having a push button exposed from a lower end of the lower case for being pressed; the lipstick being raised up with a predetermined distance by a singe press of the push button.

2. The press lipstick assembly as claimed in claim 1, wherein the driving mechanism further includes a retaining sleeve, retaining block, lead screw, lipstick holder, axial pusher, rotary slider, and a compression spring; wherein

the retaining sleeve is arranged to the lower portion of the lower case; a ring flange is formed to a middle section of an inner wall of the retaining sleeve; a plurality of rib extending from an upper edge of the ring flange is formed to the inner wall of the retaining sleeve with a predetermined gap between; a groove is formed between adjacent ribs; a sloping guide is formed to an upper end of each rib; all the sloping guides slope toward a same direction;
the retaining block is arranged to an upper end of the retaining sleeve; the retaining block has a threaded hole penetrating from a top to a bottom thereof;
the lead screw is threaded into the threaded hole of the retaining block;
the lipstick holder is arranged to a top of the lead screw and is rotatable; the lipstick holder is inside the upper case and a bottom of the lipstick is placed on the lipstick holder;
the axial pusher is hollow and a plurality of protruding guide is formed to an upper peripheral of the axial pusher so that the plurality of the protruding guide is slid into the grooves of the retaining sleeve; two slopes extend from a central top of each protruding guide towards adjacent protruding guides respectively; the bottoms of the slopes of adjacent protruding guides are connected;
the rotary slider is arranged inside the retaining sleeve and above the axial pusher; the rotary slider has a through hole on a top thereof for being penetrated by the lead screw; the lead screw will only slide along the through hole without rotation; a plurality of clutch is formed around a peripheral of the rotary slider; a slide toward a predetermined direction is formed to a lower end of each clutch; the clutch will slide along the slope of the protruding guide and along the sloping guide of the rib by the slide;
the compression spring is arranged between the retaining block and the rotary slider so as to provide a downward force to the rotary slider;
the push button is arranged to a lower portion of the retaining sleeve, and the push button will axially move along the retaining sleeve; an upper end of the push button is connected to the axial pusher, and a lower end of the push button is exposed outside the retaining sleeve; the axial pusher will drive the rotary slider and the lead screw to rotate a predetermined angle every single press to the push button so as to raise up the lipstick holder and the lipstick with a predetermined distance.

3. The press lipstick assembly as claimed in claim 2, wherein the through hole of the rotary slider has at least one spacing surface; the lead screw has a positioning surface corresponding to the spacing surface.

The press lipstick assembly as claimed in claim 2, wherein a plurality of half-dome protrusion is formed to a peripheral of the upper case; the cap has a protruding ring on an inner wall thereof; the protruding ring having an arc cross-section will be stuck by the protrusions while the cap is slid upon the upper case so that the cap is not easy to be removed from the upper case.

5. The press lipstick assembly as claimed in claim 2, wherein a top of the upper case is oblique.

6. The press lipstick assembly as claimed in claim 2, wherein a plurality of retaining slot is formed to the upper end of the retaining sleeve; the retaining block has a plurality of buckle on a peripheral thereof for being embedded into the plurality of retaining slot of the retaining sleeve.

7. The press lipstick assembly as claimed in claim 2, wherein the cap has a LED and at least one battery; the LED is powered by the battery so that the LED will project light from an open of the cap.

8. The press lipstick assembly as claimed in claim 7, wherein the LED will be lit up while the cap is removed from the upper case; the LED will off while the cap is put back to the upper case.

The press lipstick assembly as claimed in claim 8, wherein the cap has a conducting component; a power pin of the LED is electrically connected to an electrode of the battery; the conducting component has a fixed section and a flexible section; the fixed section is electrically connected to another electrode of the battery, and the flexible section is extended from the fixed section; while the cap is removed from the upper case, the flexible section will contact another power pin of the LED so as to light up the LED; while the cap is put back to the upper case, the flexible section will be pressed off the power pin of the LED so as to power off the LED.

10. The press lipstick assembly as claimed in claim 7, wherein the cap has a switch to turn on and turn off the LED.
