Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a central air conditioning technology, and in particular to a screw type wind-chilling water chiller unit and its heat exchanger, and a refrigeration method thereof.

2. Background of the Invention

Due to the various advantages of central air-conditioning system, such as large power capacity, high efficiency, energy conservation and environment friendliness, superior performance, stable and reliable operations, now it has been utilized widely in big buildings, for example, restaurants, convention centers, mansions, and factories. The central air-conditioning system is mainly composed of four parts: a compressor, a condenser, an evaporator, and a restrictor. Wherein, the condenser and the evaporator are usually referred to as heat exchangers, for producing and outputting heat or refrigeration. In addition, it comprises other related auxiliary equipment, including: a chassis, for carrying and supporting the entire unit; a control cubicle, for receiving the unit control components; and a blower frame, for carrying and supporting a blower. The basic structure of the main machine is composed of the four parts connected in series to form a closed loop, namely, the compressor is connected to the condenser, the condenser is connected to an expansion valve serving as a restrictor, and the expansion valve is connected to the evaporator, and the evaporator is connected to the compressor. The operation process of the main machine is carried out in a loop as follows: compressor-condenser-expansion valve-evaporator- and back to the compressor. On a shell and tube heat exchanger is provided with two tubes, and when performing refrigeration, the refrigerant comes in from the second tube, and gas is exited from the first tube; when performing heating, gas comes in from the first tube, and liquid is exited from the second tube. However, this kind of structure often leads to the result that excessive liquid remains in the heat exchanger, as such, reducing efficiency of heat exchanger, increasing energy consumption, or even adversely affecting normal operations of the entire unit. Nevertheless, presently, the central air-conditioner unit has quite a lot of defects in its design, such as inconvenient installation, hoist and transport, strength of chassis is not strong enough, the operation stability of the unit is not sufficient, performance of the unit is not satisfactory, and high energy consumption.

Therefore, presently, the design and performance of the central air-conditioning unit is not quite satisfactory, and it has much room for improvements.
