DRIVING ASSEMBLY AND SWIMMING POOL CLEANER

A driving assembly and a swimming pool cleaner. The driving assembly includes: wheels, comprising first wheel and second wheel, each of the first wheel and the second wheel including a wheel body and internal teeth, and the internal teeth arranged on an inner wall of the wheel body; a driving gear, arranged in the wheel body of the first wheel and matching the internal teeth of the first wheel; a first rolling brush gear, arranged in the wheel body of the first wheel and matching the internal teeth of the first wheel; a second rolling brush gear, arranged in the wheel body of the second wheel and matching the internal teeth of the second wheel; and a driving belt with an end tightly attached to the first wheel and another end tightly attached to the second wheel. The driving assembly is simple in structure and low in manufacturing cost.

TECHNICAL FIELD

The application relates to swimming pool cleaning equipment, in particular to a driving assembly and a swimming pool cleaner.

BACKGROUND

A swimming pool cleaner is specifically designed for cleaning pools, primarily targeting debris such as leaves and gravel present on the pool bottom and walls. There are two primary driving mechanisms for the swimming pool cleaner. One is driven by a crawler belt, which requires multiple bearing supports and has a higher cost. The other is purely driven by gears, but the size of gears limits the adjustment of the distance between front and rear rolling brushes.

SUMMARY

Based on the above problems, the application provides a driving assembly and a swimming pool cleaner. The driving assembly has a simple structure and low manufacturing cost.

An embodiment of the application provides a driving assembly for a swimming pool cleaner. The driving assembly comprises: wheels, comprising a first wheel and a second wheel, each of the first wheel and the second wheel comprising a wheel body and internal teeth arranged on an inner wall of the wheel body; a driving gear, arranged in the wheel body of the first wheel and matching the internal teeth of the first wheel; a first rolling brush gear, arranged in the wheel body of the first wheel and matching the internal teeth of the first wheel; a second rolling brush gear, arranged in the wheel body of the second wheel and matching the internal teeth of the second wheel; and a driving belt, an end of the driving belt being tightly attached to the first wheel and another end of the driving belt being tightly attached to the second wheel.

According to some embodiments of the application, each of the first wheel and the second wheel further comprises external teeth arranged on an outer wall of the wheel body, and the driving belt matches the external teeth of the first wheel and the external teeth of the second wheel.

According to some embodiments of the application, the wheel body comprises a support ring, the internal teeth and the external teeth being arranged on the support ring; and a tire sleeved on the support ring.

According to some embodiments of the application, the tire is provided with anti-skid patterns.

According to some embodiments of the application, the wheel body further comprises a bearing seat arranged at a center of the support ring; and the driving assembly further comprises a bearing arranged in the bearing seat.

According to some embodiments of the application, the bearing seat comprises a snap joint configured to clamp the bearing.

According to some embodiments of the application, the wheel body further comprises a protective plate arranged in the support ring.

According to some embodiments of the application, the protective plate and the support ring are integrally formed.

According to some embodiments of the application, a plurality of grooves are formed in an outer wall of the support ring.

An embodiment of the application provides a swimming pool cleaner, comprising: a machine body; the driving assembly as described above arranged on the machine body; a driver connected with the driving gear; a first rolling brush connected with the first rolling brush gear; and a second rolling brush connected with the second rolling brush gear.

According to the driving assembly provided by the present application, the driving gear drives the first wheel to rotate inside the first wheel, and the first wheel drives the second wheel to rotate through the driving belt. The transmission structure is simple and the manufacturing cost is low. The distance between the first rolling brush and the second rolling brush can be adjusted by adopting driving belts with different lengths, so as to meet the requirements of different models of swimming pool cleaners for the distance between the first rolling brush and the second rolling brush.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS

The technical scheme of the application will be described clearly and completely with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the application. Obviously, the described embodiments are part of the embodiments of the application, not all of them. All other embodiments obtained by those of ordinary skill in the art based on the embodiments in the present application without creative labor fall within the protection scope of the present application.

Embodiment 1

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, this embodiment provides a driving assembly 100 for a swimming pool cleaner 200, and the driving assembly 100 is arranged on a machine body 210 of the swimming pool cleaner 200. The driving assembly 100 comprises wheels 1, driving gears 2, first rolling brush gears 3, second rolling brush gears 4 and driving belts 5.

The wheels 1 support the swimming pool cleaner 200, and the wheels 1 comprise first wheels 1a and second wheels 1b. In this embodiment, the number of the first wheels 1a is two, the two first wheels 1a are respectively arranged on two sides of the machine body 210, and the first wheels 1a serve as driving wheels. The number of the second wheels 1b is two, the two second wheels 1b are respectively arranged on two sides of the machine body 210, and the second wheels 1b serve as driven wheels.

As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the first wheel 1a and the second wheel 1b each comprise a wheel body 11 and internal teeth 12. The wheel body 11 makes contact with the pool bottom or walls, and the rotation of the wheel body 11 realizes the forward and backward movement of the swimming pool cleaner 200. The internal teeth 12 are arranged on an inner wall of the wheel body 11, and a plurality of internal teeth 12 are evenly distributed around the axis of the wheel body 11.

The driving gear 2 is rotatably arranged on the machine body 210, a driver of the swimming pool cleaner 200 is connected with the driving gear 2, and the driver drives the driving gear 2 to rotate. Alternatively, the driver is a motor. The driving gear 2 is arranged in the wheel body of the first wheel 1a, and the driving gear 2 meshes with the internal teeth of the first wheel 1a. The driving gear 2 can drive the first wheel 1a to rotate and provide power for the movement of the swimming pool cleaner 200.

The first rolling brush gear 3 is connected with a rotating shaft of a first rolling brush 220 of the swimming pool cleaner 200, and the first rolling brush 220 is rotatably arranged at a front end of the machine body 210. The first rolling brush gear 3 is located in the wheel body of the first wheel 1a and meshes with the internal teeth of the first wheel 1a, and the first wheel 1a can drive the first rolling brush 220 to rotate through the first rolling brush gear 3 to clean the swimming pool. Alternatively, the driving gear 2 and the first rolling brush gear 3 are respectively located on two sides of the axis of the first wheel 1a.

The second rolling brush gear 4 is connected with a rotating shaft of a second rolling brush 230 of the swimming pool cleaner 200, and the second rolling brush 230 is rotatably arranged at a rear end of the machine body 210. The second rolling brush gear 4 is located in the wheel body of the second wheel 1b and meshes with the internal teeth of the second wheel 1b. The second wheel 1b can drive the second rolling brush 230 to rotate through the second rolling brush gear 4 to better clean the swimming pool.

The driving belt 5 is a closed-loop flexible belt, which is sleeved on the wheel body of the first wheel 1a and the wheel body of the second wheel 1b. An end of the driving belt 5 is tightly attached to the first wheel 1a, and the other end of the driving belt 5 is tightly attached to the second wheel 1b. The first wheel 1a drives the second wheel 1b to rotate through the driving belt 5.

In this embodiment, the driving gear 2 is inside the first wheel 1a and drives the first wheel 1a to rotate, the first wheel 1a drives the second wheel 1b to rotate through the driving belt 5, the first wheel 1a drives the first rolling brush 220 to rotate, and the second wheel 1b drives the second rolling brush 230 to rotate. The transmission structure is simple and the manufacturing cost is low. Different models of swimming pool cleaners have different requirements for the distance between the first rolling brush 220 and the second rolling brush 230, and the distance between the first rolling brush 220 and the second rolling brush 230 can be adjusted by adopting driving belts 5 with different lengths.

As shown in FIG. 5, according to an alternative scheme of the application, the first wheel 1a and the second wheel 1b each further comprise external teeth 13, and the external teeth 13 are arranged on an outer wall of the wheel body 11. In this embodiment, a plurality of external teeth 13 are evenly distributed around the axis of the wheel body 11. An inner wall of the driving belt 5 is provided with driving teeth 51 matching the external teeth 13, so that the driving belt 5 is prevented from slipping during the rotation of the wheels 1, and the transmission safety is improved.

As shown in FIG. 6, in an alternative scheme, the wheel body 11 comprises a support ring 111 and a tire 112. The support ring 111 is annular, and both the inner teeth 12 and the outer teeth 13 are arranged on the support ring 111. In this embodiment, the widths of the inner teeth 12 and the outer teeth 13 are basically equal, approximately half the width of the support ring 111. Both the inner teeth 12 and the outer teeth 13 are located on the side of the support ring 111 close to the machine body 210. The tire 112 is sleeved on the support ring 111, and the tire 112 is located on the side of the external tooth 13. The width of the tire 112 is about ½ of the width of the support ring 111. The tire 112 is made of a flexible material, such as rubber. The tire 112 makes contact with the pool bottom or walls.

In an alternative scheme, the tire 112 is provided with anti-skid patterns 1121, which can increase the friction when the tire 112 rotates.

As shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the driving assembly 100 further comprises a bearing 6, and the wheel 1 is mounted to the machine body 210 through the bearing 6. The wheel body 11 also comprises a bearing seat 113 which is arranged at a center of the support ring 111. Alternatively, the bearing seat 113 is connected with the support ring 111 through a spoke, one end of the spoke is connected with the support ring 111, and the other end of the spoke is connected with the bearing seat 113. The bearing 6 is arranged in the bearing seat 113.

In an alternative scheme, the bearing seat 113 comprises a snap joint 1131 used for clamp the bearing 6, so as to facilitate the quick disassembly and assembly of the bearing 6 and the bearing seat 113.

As shown in FIG. 6, the wheel body 11 further comprises a protective plate 114 which is arranged in the support ring 111 and basically covers an inner hole of the support ring 111, so as to protect the gear in the support ring 111. Alternatively, the protective plate 114 is integrally formed with the support ring 111. In another alternative scheme, the support ring 111, the bearing seat 113 and the protective plate 114 are integrally formed, thus simplifying the preparation process of the wheel body 11.

In an alternative scheme, a plurality of grooves 115 are formed in an outer wall of the support ring 111 and evenly distributed around the axis of the support ring 111, so as to reduce the weight of the support ring 111. After the support ring 111 and the tire 112 are assembled, the tire 112 covers the grooves 115.

Embodiment 2

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, this embodiment provides a swimming pool cleaner 200, which comprises a machine body 210, the driving assembly 100 as described above, drivers (not shown), first rolling brushes 220 and second rolling brushes 230. The driving assembly 100, the drivers, the first rolling brushes 220 and the second rolling brushes 230 are all arranged on the machine body 210, the driver is connected with the driving gear 2, the first rolling brush 220 is connected with the first rolling brush gear 3, and the second rolling brush 230 is connected with the second rolling brush gear 4.

In the swimming pool cleaner 200 of this embodiment, the first wheel 1a drives the first rolling brush 220 to work, the second wheel 1b drives the second rolling brush 230 to work, and the first wheel 1a drives the second wheel 1b to rotate through the driving belt 5. This arrangement is suitable for swimming pool cleaners 200 of different models.

The embodiments of the application have been introduced in detail above. Specific examples are applied herein to illustrate the principle and implementation of the application. The above embodiments are only used to help understand the technical scheme of the application and its core ideas. The changes or deformations made by those skilled in the art based on the ideas of the application and the specific implementation and application scope of the application are within the scope of protection of the application. To sum up, the content of this specification should not be construed as a limitation of the application.

11. A driving assembly for a swimming pool cleaner, comprising:

wheels, comprising a first wheel and a second wheel, each of the first wheel and the second wheel comprising a wheel body and internal teeth arranged on an inner wall of the wheel body;
a driving gear, arranged in the wheel body of the first wheel and matching the internal teeth of the first wheel;
a first rolling brush gear, arranged in the wheel body of the first wheel and matching the internal teeth of the first wheel;
a second rolling brush gear, arranged in the wheel body of the second wheel and matching the internal teeth of the second wheel; and
a driving belt, an end of the driving belt being tightly attached to the first wheel and another end of the driving belt being tightly attached to the second wheel.

12. The driving assembly of claim 11, wherein each of the first wheel and the second wheel further comprises external teeth arranged on an outer wall of the wheel body, and the driving belt matches the external teeth of the first wheel and the external teeth of the second wheel.

13. The driving assembly of claim 12, wherein the wheel body comprises:

a support ring, the internal teeth and the external teeth being arranged on the support ring; and
a tire, sleeved on the support ring.

14. The driving assembly of claim 13, wherein the tire is provided with anti-skid patterns.

15. The driving assembly of claim 13, wherein the wheel body further comprises a bearing seat arranged at a center of the support ring; and

the driving assembly further comprises a bearing arranged in the bearing seat.

16. The driving assembly of claim 15, wherein the bearing seat comprises a snap joint configured to clamp the bearing.

17. The driving assembly of claim 13, wherein the wheel body further comprises a protective plate arranged in the support ring.

18. The driving assembly of claim 17, wherein the protective plate and the support ring are integrally formed.

19. The driving assembly of claim 13, wherein a plurality of grooves are formed in an outer wall of the support ring.

20. A swimming pool cleaner, comprising:

a machine body;
the driving assembly of claim 11 arranged on the machine body;
a driver, connected with the driving gear;
a first rolling brush, connected with the first rolling brush gear; and
a second rolling brush, connected with the second rolling brush gear.

21. The swimming pool cleaner of claim 20, wherein each of the first wheel and the second wheel further comprises external teeth arranged on an outer wall of the wheel body, and the driving belt matches the external teeth of the first wheel and the external teeth of the second wheel.

22. The swimming pool cleaner of claim 21, wherein the wheel body comprises:

a support ring, the internal teeth and the external teeth being arranged on the support ring; and
a tire, sleeved on the support ring.

23. The swimming pool cleaner of claim 22, wherein the tire is provided with anti-skid patterns.

24. The swimming pool cleaner of claim 22, wherein the wheel body further comprises a bearing seat arranged at a center of the support ring; and

the driving assembly further comprises a bearing arranged in the bearing seat.

25. The swimming pool cleaner of claim 24, wherein the bearing seat comprises a snap joint configured to clamp the bearing.

26. The swimming pool cleaner of claim 22, wherein the wheel body further comprises a protective plate arranged in the support ring.

27. The swimming pool cleaner of claim 26, wherein the protective plate and the support ring are integrally formed.

28. The swimming pool cleaner of claim 22, wherein a plurality of grooves are formed in an outer wall of the support ring.
