    Abstract: A transparent sticker or dial with world major city marks printed converts an ordinary analog watch or clock to a world clock only by being attached on the face of a clock. The sticker is attached according to a rule that the standard time city mark comes to the 12 o'clock position. On the sticker sheet, other city marks are aligned along a circumference according to their time differences based on their global geographical location. A transparent dial with a marker at 12 o'clock position serves the same function. The dial is placed over the clock face in such a manner the marker comes to the designated position according the city whose local time is wanted. The short hand is read according to the overlaid clock dial. A chart can be used to know where the marker should be placed.

    Abstract: A foldable, weather-resistant reference guide for wearing on the arm, torso, or leg. The foldable, weather-resistant reference guide is attached to a soft, flexible keeping member that holds the reference guide in a folded configuration. The reference guide itself is made of a synthetic fiber paper for weather-resistance. The reference guide folds-up when not in use and is held in place by the keeping member so that the reference guide does not interfere with any physical activities such as snow skiing. The keeping member and reference guide can be opened, unfolded, refolded, and closed with only one hand, even while wearing bulky gloves. The entire invention is made of flexible materials that are comfortable, durable, and safe to a person wearing the article and participating in a rigorous physical activity. The reference guide is typically a map.

Hand movement of the release member radially deploys the toothed distal end which results in release thereof of the retained tubing and its withdrawability from the connector.

    Abstract: A barb clamp provides a leakproof connection of a flexible tube in a barbed fitting. The barb clamp includes a collet and sleeve. The barb fitting is configured to fit snugly within the tube. The collet is slid over the tube. Shelves on the interior surface of the collet fit tightly around the tube and under an expanded portion of the barb fitting. The sleeve is then slid over the collet. As the sleeve moves over the collet, tangs on the collet are pushed radially inwardly into the tube and barb fitting. The sleeve is moved over the collet until an annular projection on the interior surface of the sleeve sits within an annular groove of the collet. Radial ledges on the exterior surface of the collet provide a stop and lock to prevent the annular projection on the sleeve to move out of the annular groove of the collet.

A tracking mechanism keeps track of the amount of potential energy that was not expended at the other facility and places this amount in a virtual energy storage account, for the benefit of the wind turbine facility.

Natural gas or liquid fuel is also conveyed from a stationary platform to a rotating frame by means of a rotary fluid coupler. When wind speed is low, fuel will be injected into the combustion chamber and burned with large mass of air. The hot gas is expanded in an exist nozzle to provide thrust to assist wind power.

    Abstract: Tethered wind supported flying electric generators (FEGS) capable of deriving power from high altitude winds are held stable in precisely controlled positions in spite of wind fluctuations and temporary wind absence. FEGs are windmill-like rotorcraft, somewhat resembling helicopters, which are raised to a strong wind altitude using electric motors driving the rotors, each craft powered through tether(s) from a corresponding single point on the ground. Then the rotorcraft is tilted at an angle, the wind turns the rotors, and thus keeps the craft aloft and sends power back to the ground, now using the motors as generators. Precise craft geographic position, altitude and attitude are determined by various sensing means. Computer logic, provided with this information and wind and other weather data, command individual craft control functions and thus may also command arrays of these FEGs to maintain precise geographic and altitude locations or be grounded under tether winch control when necessary.
