Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a spin rinse dry (SRD) chamber for a semiconductor processing system. The SRD chamber includes a selectively rotatable substrate support member having an upper substrate receiving surface formed thereon, and a selectively rotatable shield member positioned above the upper substrate receiving surface, the rotatable shield member having a substantially planar lower surface that may be selectively positioned proximate the upper substrate.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for heating and cooling a substrate are provided. A chamber is provided that comprises a heating mechanism adapted to heat a substrate positioned proximate the heating mechanism, a cooling mechanism spaced from the heating mechanism and adapted to cool a substrate positioned proximate the cooling mechanism, and a transfer mechanism adapted to transfer a substrate between the position proximate the heating mechanism and the position proximate the cooling mechanism.

Abstract: An article of footwear having an upper, an outsole, and a midsole. The midsole defines a plurality of upper and lower channels intersecting in a waffled construction to define openings. The channels and openings allow passage of water from the interior of the article of footwear. The upper channels extend across the upper half of the midsole in one direction and the lower channels extend across the bottom half of the midsole in another direction. The channels are of sufficient depth so that the upper and lower channels intersect one another to define the openings through which the water may pass from the upper channels to the lower channels. The outsole forms the wear surface and covers a majority of the undersurface of the midsole, preferably defining a plurality of outlets or ports through which water may drain from the bottom of the shoe.

Abstract: A construction for a shoe, particularly an athletic shoe such as a running shoe, includes a sole that is constructed according to the applicant's prior invention of a theoretically ideal stability plane. Such a shoe sole according to that prior invention conforms to the natural shape of the foot, particularly the sides, and that has a constant thickness in frontal plane cross sections; the thickness of the shoe sole sides contour equals and therefore varies exactly as the thickness of the load-bearing sole portion.

Abstract: A waterproof shoe structure comprises an upper and a sole. The upper comprises an outer layer, a lining layer, and a waterproof foot-like member. The waterproof foot-like is integrally formed of latex. The lining layer has a foot-like configuration and is mounted inside the waterproof foot-like member. The outer layer covers the waterproof foot-like member. The outer layer, the lining layer, and the waterproof foot-like member are securely engaged together. The sole is then securely engaged with the outer layer of the upper.

It enables the user to quickly remove mud, sand, cut grass or leaves from the golf club without carrying an extra brush or cloth while the golf bag or golf cart is out of reach.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to an outsole for use with a shoe and a shoe having an improved outsole. The outsole includes a forward portion and a rearward portion that are connected by a ball-and-socket connection that allows the portions to move freely. The outsole may include a flexible member disposed between two pieces, for example, of the forward portion to allow these pieces to flex freely. The outsole may be used with a sole construction that includes a gel cushion that is adjacent a transparent window member of the outsole.

Abstract: A plastic cleat (10) for a golf shoe is disclosed, including a cleat body (3), a plurality of flexible protrusions (1) and rigid protrusions (2) extending from the cleat body (3). The flexible protrusions (1) and rigid protrusions (2) provide good grips on grass without damaging the grass. The flexible protrusions (1) bend outwardly on a hard surface, when the rigid protrusions (2) chiefly support weight. The cleat (10) can be economically manufactured by “forced extraction molding” utilizing the shape rebounding nature of half hardened plastic materials.

Abstract: An electronic animal trap incorporating an inclined plane trap assembly is capable to preclude an animal on the tilting floor member of the trap assembly from engaging the top and/or side edges of the door member of the trap assembly in an attempt to escape from the trap by pulling the door member down to thereby unblock access to the entrance opening. An electronic circuit is connected to a bottom plate so that when animal's weight causes the inclined ramp to lower and contact the bottom plate the circuit is completed and the animal receives a charge of sufficient power to cause electrocution. A plastic version of the electronic animal trap assembly enables many of the structural elements to be economically manufactured and easily assembled.

The leading edge of the baseplate is beveled so that it will readily slide under an insect. The enclosure is opened by moving rearwardly a manual control element which is situated toward the end of the handle. Opening the lid compresses the spring in the hinge. Upon releasing the manual control element, the enclosure lid is urged, by the spring hinge to return to the closed position. Both the baseplate and the enclosure lid have a plurality of holes which will allow the passage of air and water, but which are too small to allow a captured insect to escape.

Abstract: A method for enabling the use of heavy oil residuum by conversion to a useful product. The method, in one embodiment, involves the use of a heavy oil residuum which is substantially non flowable. The viscosity of the residuum is reduced by heat or a combination of heat and a diluent and subsequently mixed with water such that the mixing is high shear mixing. This results in the formation of an emulsion of predispersed residuum in an aqueous matrix. The emulsion is formed such that the aqueous matrix is in a size distribution suitable for use as a combustible fuel.

The apparatus discharges the cool air by rotating a drive body in accordance with a variation of visual images taken by visual image generator before and after the load is stored. The cool air can also be discharged into a specific storage space by rotating cool air injection nozzles based upon the temperature variation of door baskets detected by temperature sensors. Therefore, a uniform temperature distribution can be maintained in the cooling device to substantially reduce an amount of power consumption.
