Abstract: A loose-fitting bathing suit includes legs that resist riding up on a wearer and yet is comfortable to wear. The bathing suit eliminates the wide, trapezoidally-shaped stays worn on the front of the bathing suit to offer a more natural feel of the bathing suit, and its attendant comfort, while still resisting the problem of riding up. The suit preferably includes a long thin pocket on either side of the suit, and each such pocket retains a long, thin flexibly rigid stay to comfortably hold the bottom of the suit legs down along the thighs of the wearer. Alternatively, the suit may omit the stay in the side pockets, and instead include either of hem stays or inseam stays, or include all of such stays.

Abstract: La Capa is not a regular cape. It is not a cape that a magician would use. It is specifically a cape used by woman to breast-feed. The function of this garment is to hide a woman's breasts while breast-feeding. It is used as a cover-up specifically for nursing a baby. This invention covers the front of a woman's chest but has an opening, which is a slit, which runs up and down directly in front of a woman's cleavage. The tie- front keeps the cape closed just enough to hide the baby's head, which is latched onto the nipple. But the slit in the front of the fabric allows mobility of the infant and also lets air flow under garment easily. Also it is easy to maneuver the baby from one breast to the other. The true function of this cape is it is a fabric used for a woman's privacy during woman nursing or pumping their breast milk so they can do this in any public place without exposing their breasts.

Abstract: A new and improved shirt is disclosed. The shirt of the present invention includes an adjustable neck which can increase or decrease in size as required by the wearer. The top fastener of the shirt is located at the top of the fastening panel, rather than on a neckband, allowing the edges of the shirt at the neck to slide apart when an increase in neck circumference is desired while the fastener remains closed. Additionally, the collar line of the present shirt is cut at an angle with the overlap and underlap aligned with the ends of a neckband (though the presence of a neckband is optional) and collar to present a neater, smoother look to the collar line of the shirt. In one embodiment, the shirt includes a placket front. The shirt can be worn either as a dress shirt or, in one embodiment, is a sport shirt when worn without a tie.

Abstract: An article of headwear having an integrated hairband and method for their construction is provided for cooperating with the headband for maintaining the headwear in a substantially fixed position on the wearer's head irrespective of the exercise or amount of activity of the wearer. In applications where the fixed position of the novel headwear dominates such as ski hats and exercise wear a substantially coplanar relationship is maintained to use the hair to anchor the headwear on the head. In applications where fashion vegarieties dictate an angular relationship can be provided between the headband and headwear in novel knitted articles of the invention. The invention integrates the hairband into the novel articles of headwear utilizing a plurality of loops to incorporate the hairband into the novel articles of headwear.

Abstract: A protective holder for use with a paintbrush. The holder has a flexible sleeve that is configured to be snuggly positioned about a substantial portion of a paintbrush body. The sleeve has an aperture through which the handle of a brush may extend, and may also include absorbent material that captures liquid that dribbles down from the applicator portion of a paintbrush when the paintbrush is held vertically. The holder also has a protective, segmented skirt that is operatively connected to the sleeve and whose segments or panels may be selectively moved between a protective storage position where the skirt substantially encircles the applicator portion of a brush, and a protective use position where the skirt substantially encircles the handle of a brush. The holder also may have a fastener to maintain the skirt in either of its protective positions.

Abstract: A cleaning mat system is designed for placement on a floor and for cleaning the undersides of shoes, feet, and other objects. The cleaning mat system includes a base with an upper surface and a lower surface interconnected by a perimeter edge. The perimeter edge includes a leading edge and an opposed trailing edge. The upper surface of the base includes upwardly extending teeth covering the majority of the upper surface, and the lower surface includes downwardly extending teeth on at least a portion of the lower surface adjacent the leading and trailing edges. A removable and disposable cleaning sheet has an upper face for cleaning and an opposed lower face. The cleaning sheet has a pair of spaced-apart side edge portions and a central portion. In use, the cleaning sheet is positioned on the base such that the central portion is adjacent the upper surface of the base and the side edge portions wrap around the leading and trailing edges to be trapped between the teeth and the floor.

The locking push button is positioned into the end of the first pole and as each additional pole is added, the added pole slips onto the first pole, the second pole forming the outer tube, the first pole forming the inner tube, the push button retains the newly connected tube into a locked position. The end of each pole contains a rubber protective insert. As each additional tube extension is added, the rubber insert is always at the end of the tube. Abstract: The Ergo-Handle, integrated into the surface, ensures effortless, fast and secure opening of cabinet doors, drawers or other furniture every time, even when only one finger is used, from almost any direction, position or height of the person. Long fingernails, oily hands, or even arthritis easily allow perfect operation. The exact shape and size to accommodate the anatomy of the human hand when operating the handle requires precise considerations. Potential injuries are virtually eliminated because of the total absence of any protrusions. Pleasing contours add distinctive personality, while for instance decorative centerpieces, such as marble discs, exhibit astonishing beauty.
