Abstract: A method of wet granulation of fertilizer and other materials into granules. The method involves formation of the granule directly on the pan from the feedstock without intermediate steps or the use of seed materials. The result is a product having a completely uniform cross section. The feedstock is initially in the size distribution of −150 mesh with 90% or greater in the size range of 200 mesh. Moisture is maintained to facilitate a steady process without cycling. The method has the advantage of allowing granulation of materials either known to be hazardous or inherently difficult to granulate in a safe and expedient manner. The process permits the formation of multiple feedstock granules. The initial feedstock may be augmented with a different feedstock in a second pan having a different composition and size from the initial feedstock.

Abstract: A method of installing a piston position sensor proximate to a closed end of a hydraulic cylinder is provided. The sensor is attached to the face of a piston and that piston/sensor combination is inserted into the cylinder tube to position the sensor in the desired location. When properly located within the cylinder tube, the sensor is affixed to the cylinder tube by means of beveled holes in the sensor that receive bolts threadedly inserted through the cylinder tube to further properly align the sensor within the cylinder tube. When so affixed, the sensor is then detached from the piston so that the piston can thereafter move independently of the sensor. A fixture is also used that allows the assembler to accurately align the angular orientation of the sensor prior to being inserted into the cylinder tube.

Abstract: The method for producing an electrical connecting element is essentially characterized in that a plastic deformable substrate is formed with an embossing tool in an embossing step in such a way that recesses are made in said substrate in the areas in which conductive strips and, for instance, through holes or contact surfaces should be formed. The substrate is then coated with a thin conductive layer. In a following step, conductive material is galvanically deposited on the substrate until the recesses are filled with conductive material. Subsequently, the conductive material is removed the corresponding areas of the substrate that should not have any conductive surface are free from any metal coating.

Abstract: A process for treating a coil end is provided, by which upon automatic winding of the coil, an electric connection between a portion of a wire at the front or rear end of the coil and a terminal of a winding object by arc welding can be securely carried out. A stripping section strips an insulating coating off from the portions of the wire at the front and rear ends of the coil while the wire is wound around the winding object with the portions of the wire being bound to the terminal. Each portion of the wire, the insulating coating of which is stripped off, bound to the terminal is electrically connected to the terminal by arc welding.

Abstract: This invention relates to a production method of a moving vane member having high durability and to the moving vane member. An impeller in which tensile residual stress remains is rotated at a rotating speed higher than an operation speed. Then, a high stress portion inside the impeller undergoes plastic deformation due to centrifugal force F. As a result, compressive residual stress remains in the high stress portion after the rotation is stopped, and the tensile residual stress is eliminated. Therefore, repeated tensile stress acting on the high stress portion can be reduced, and an impeller having higher durability can be acquired.

Abstract: This novel invention concerns a hair groomer thinning guide that relates to a hair groomer whose casing comes with a -shaped comb carrier featuring a combing teeth as thinning guide on the front end. Both the top and the bottom are equipped with a lengthy groove, with the groomer having a cylindrical switch on its top and a round-shaped adjustable knob on the bottom. The lengthy groove on the top and bottom plates are fitted with a positioning claw and a braking claw, which are positioned correspondingly on both sides of the switch and the adjustable knob; by pressing the adjustable knob to separate the braking claw from the braking teeth, the comb carrier would then move in linear form back and forth to form irregular pitches between the combing teeth and the groomer, thus thinning the hair, and the comb carrier moves to the front end to turn in 180° forcing the comb face backward, thus freeing the thinning combing teeth.
