Abstract: A device for homogeneous heating of an object (O) comprises a supporting surface (2) for supporting the object (O), and a heating layer (3) arranged on the supporting surface (2). The heating layer (3) absorbs at least partly energy received from a source (4) and emits at least partly the thus-absorbed energy to the object (O) supported on the supporting surface (2). The layer (3) is made of such a material that the energy absorbed by the layer (3) is in a self-regulating manner distributed uniformly along the surface of the layer (3). The heating device forms a simple and compact unit which can be used to rapidly heat the object (O) to a homogeneous temperature.

Abstract: A removable belt clip system for providing easy removal and installation of a post member from a carrying case. The removable belt clip system includes a carrying case, a retaining pocket attached to an exterior surface of the case, a receiver opening within the retaining pocket, a resilient member attached at one end of the receiver opening extending a finite distance toward the opposing end of the receiver opening, and a post member having a flat base removably positioned within the receiver opening. The user inserts a second portion of the flat base into the receiver opening then pushes the post member so that the shaft engages and compresses the resilient member. The user then pushes the first portion of the flat base into the receiver opening and then releases the post member whereby the resilient member forces the flat base away from the resilient member thereby causing the first portion to be catchably received within the retaining pocket.

Abstract: The invention is a defensive retainer bottle combination. The bottle contains a defensive spray that immediately immobilizes a person when sprayed upon at the upper extremities of the person. The retainer is made of molded plastic and has upper and lower plates with upturned lips to retain a bottle placed there between. The retainer further has upper and lower springy retainer clips that assure a sure retention of the bottle within the retainer until an emergency requires the use of the bottle whereby a hard pull on the bottle by a hand will dislodge the bottle and make it ready for use. Once the bottle is filled with a defensive fluid. The bottle is inserted into the retainer with a top screw cap first and is then securely caught between the retention clips. The top of the screw cap has an aperture or hole therein into which a nipple penetrates to leak-proof retain the liquid in the bottle. The nipple is part of a rubber plug that is screwed into the top of the retainer.

Abstract: A carrying device of a pistol includes a main body, an unlock lever, a protective bracket locking ball, a movable member, a cover plate, and a connector. The trigger protective bracket of the pistol may be inserted into the protective bracket insertion recess of the main body and may be locked by the protective bracket locking ball rigidly and stably. Thus, it is necessary to press the push press section of the unlock lever downward or rotate the lock lever push member counterclockwise, so as to unlock the trigger protective bracket of the pistol, thereby preventing the pistol being robbed.

Abstract: This invention is a quiver for carrying sporting equipment or tools over the shoulder; it can be converted into a free-standing structure; and it can be disassembled when not in use for ease of storing and traveling. The quiver consists of a plurality of rigid tubes, with a means for holding the assembled tubes into a stable structure suspended from a shoulder strap. The quiver also allows peripheral equipment to be attached by such means as clips, hook-and-loop-type fasteners, hanging containers, and so forth. The shoulder strap is adjustable, for comfortable, hands-free carrying and for hanging the quiver from a chair, a hook, or other furnishing. Adding wheels allows the quiver to be rolled or carried. The quiver can also be converted into a stand which holds equipment off the ground. Further, after use, the quiver can easily be disassembled into individual protective casings for transport or shipping; when disassembled, the quiver components require less packing space.

Abstract: An adhesive-tape cutting device of an adhesive-tape holder includes a side plate provided on one side of a blade holder of the adhesive-tape holder. The side plate is provided with a support rod and a pivotal shaft. A press plate is formed with a push plate at its lower end to push a slide base together with a blade to move forward, with a curved support member formed between the press plate and the push plate and rested against the support rod of the side plate. The curved support member rests against the support rod serving as a fulcrum, operating the press plate with a little force to let the blade cut off an adhesive tape easily. The press plate is sandwiched between the support rod and the slide base, so it is needless to be additionally provided with any fixing member, economizing cost and facilitating assembling.

A relationship between web outgassing pressure and surface roughness of the web and web transporting rollers is developed. This relationship allows for the control over the web outgassing pressure. The ability to adjust the web tension pressure, as well as the selection of web transporting rollers with prescribed surface characteristics, allows an operator to control the degree to which the web floats over or tracks the web transporting roller. A controller, in response to pressure and tension sensors, can also provide dynamic, closed-loop control of the entire system.
