Publication number: 20030178255Abstract: A triangular tree bracket is vertically strapped to a tree trunk above a tree stand for a hunter with an outer end of the bracket positioned vertically above the hunter in the center of the tree stand. A safety strap attached to the end of the tree bracket hangs vertically downward connecting to the hunter. The hunter is able to turn 360° while attached to the safety strap hanging vertically from the tree bracket. A plate having a horizontal arched array of teeth extends laterally from a top and a bottom end of the bracket and into contact with and piercing the tree trunk. Straps are cinched around the tree trunk hooked to the ends of the plate to secure the bracket to the tree with the teeth piercing the tree trunk.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 19, 2002Publication date: September 25, 2003Inventor: Wade G. Publication number: 20030178256Abstract: A method and apparatus for packing wheel bearings with grease. A frame is provided for supporting an axle assembly comprising an axle shaft with a wheel mounted on a wheel bearing at each end. A horizontally mounted ram and cylinder is mounted adjacent each wheel. Each ram has a greasing head at its distal end and each head has a nose portion adapted to pivot relative to a body portion. Each nose portion has an open-mouthed greasing chamber. Each ram is advanced toward each wheel so that each open-mouthed greasing chamber is in communication with a wheel bearing. Pressurized grease is delivered to a greasing chamber and, therefor, to a bearing.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 22, 2002Publication date: September 25, 2003Inventor: David Richard White

Publication number: 20030178257Abstract: A manual override mechanism is presented for a motor driven rotary actuator that allows the output of the actuator to be manually positioned. Once positioned, the output of the actuator may be locked by a locking mechanism to prevent this output from rotating to its quiescent position. When incorporated in a spring return rotary actuator, the manual override may be used to apply a preload on the spring before the driven device is connected. When the actuator is used to drive a valve or damper, the preload applies a positive closing force on the damper in its zero position to ensure a tight closure of the valve or damper. The locking mechanism engages the gear train and opposes the closing force applied by the spring return of the actuator. To disengage the locking mechanism automatically, the motor applies a forward kick to the gear train. Manual disengagement is also provided.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 20, 2002Publication date: September 25, 2003Applicant: Invensys Building Systems Inc.Inventors: Michael Hung-Sun Oh, Gerald R. Publication number: 20030178258Abstract: A server call system that enables the customer to be in direct contact with the server at all times. A keypad is disposed at customer locations and adapted to receive item requests from the customer. The keypad is in wireless communication with a server pager carried by a designated server. The customer inputs an item request into the keypad and it is sent to a predetermined or dynamically determined server pager for fulfillment. In this manner, not only is the efficiency of the establishment increased by eliminating wait time by customers for submitting a request to their server, but the server can effectively serve more areas with less direct customer contact.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 23, 2003Publication date: September 25, 2003Inventor: Richard Leifer
