A change interval plugging indicator (102), preferably part of the filter element, is provided by a gas trap and pressure responsive release mechanism (104) trapping gas in the upper section (23) of the inlet chamber until a designated release pressure is reached, corresponding to a desired terminal pressure, to prevent premature plugging indication otherwise indicated by rising liquid level in the inlet chamber. Abstract: The invention relates to a device for separating fluid mixtures, in particular for separating water from oil, comprising a vacuum container (10) with several sub-chambers (26, 44, 40). According to the invention, at least one liquid constituent of the fluid mixture can be transported from the vacuum container after separation, by means of a transport device (12) and the other constituents can be extracted from the vacuum container (10) in the form of gas and/or steam, using a vacuum pump (20). One of the sub-chambers (26) of the vacuum container (10) houses a heating device (28, 30), which heats the fluid mixture, the latter being guided into an additional sub-chamber (40) and being separated into its constituents by traversing a packed bed. The invention therefore allows even cold and consequently viscous fluid mixtures to be supplied, by means of the heating device, for separation inside the aforementioned vacuum container.

Abstract: A device and method for removing petroleum based contaminants from the runoff water that passes into a storm drain. The device is a filter apparatus that can be added to a storm drain. The filter apparatus consists of a filter cage that defines an open central conduit and a filter cartridge that wraps around the periphery of the filter cage. During normal rain conditions, water enters the sewer grate near the edges of the sewer grate. This water falls through the filter cartridge and is filtered. Solid debris that is mixed with the water is deflected through the central conduit and falls through the filter apparatus. During flood conditions, excess water is allowed to pass through the center conduit of the filter cage unfiltered in order to preserve the water flow capacity of the storm drain.

Abstract: A quick-mount support includes a fixed retainer adapted to extend into a first retainer aperture and a movable retainer having an arcuate slot and adapted to extend into a second retainer aperture. The quick-mount support further includes a pivotable actuator, apparatus for mounting the pivotable actuator for pivoting movement about an actuator pivot axis, and a driver coupled to the pivotable actuator and arranged to move in the arcuate slot in the movable retainer. Movable retainer pivots about the retainer pivot axis toward and away from the fixed retainer in response to pivoting movement of the pivotable actuator about the actuator pivot axis. In one illustrative embodiment, the mounting apparatus comprises an elastic, deformable O-ring for pivotally mounting the pivotable actuator about an anchor mount so that the actuator pivot axis can shift as the driver moves in the arcuate slot.

Abstract: A storage rack which hangs on the upper edge of a base cabinet door. A pair of hanger brackets fit closely on the door edge and are constructed to accommodate the plain edge of a flush mounted door or the stepped edge of a recessed cabinet door. Hooks on the inside parts of the brackets receive mounting fixtures used to attach storage devices such as baskets, trays, shelves, paper towel holders, food wrap dispensers, towel hooks or towel bars. Tabs on the outside parts of the hanger brackets allow a towel bar or other device to be mounted on the outside surface of the base cabinet door. Alternative embodiments provide a single bracket which can be applied to both flush and recessed doors and which accommodates different types of storage devices that may be hooked or otherwise connected to the brackets. The connections between the brackets and storage devices can be made in various ways, including hooks fitting through openings and threaded connections.

Abstract: An integral pallet rack post reinforcement kit for protecting the lower pallet rack frame from forklifts, etc. which takes the place of the lower six to twelve inches of the front frame post and fastened in its place. The kit is, for example, square tube welded to a three-sided outer clamp which bears a front angle deflector. These components are welded to a four inch by twelve inch by three-eighths inch footplate with two three-quarter inch by five inch by half inch wedge bolt anchors for attachment to the warehouse floor. Accordingly, this footplate replaces the original footplate. By using the reinforcement kit with the angle deflector, frontal impacts are deflected off to one side. The front post of the original pallet rack the present reinforcement kit would, over time, fail from cyclical or repeated impacts.

Abstract: A nipple with an extended sleeve comprises: a suction head; an inner nipple opening at a lower end of the suction head; an air inlet valve enclosed at an edge of the nipple opening; a sleeve extended from an inner side of the air inlet valve; into a milk bottle and integrally formed with the nipple. By above structure, air flowing into nipple from the air inlet valve will flow along the “outer wall” the sleeve to a rear section of the bottle so as to be far away from the bottle opening, but the liquid in the bottle flows out along a liquid supply channel within the sleeve. Thereby, the air inlet path is isolated from the liquid outlet path. Furthermore, an outer surface of a distal end of the sleeve is formed with one of a straight folding flange, an inclined folding flange, and a concave folding flange.

Abstract: A reusable closure system for containers, such as wine bottles. The closure system is designed for containers or bottles having a finish ring disposed on an outer surface of the neck of the container. The system includes a disk connected to a plug. The disk includes a first flat surface and a second opposing surface. The plug extends outward from the second surface. In the initial sealed and packaged condition, the flat surface of the disk overlies the rim of the container and a removable compression ring securely holds the disk in place over the rim of the container. The removable compression ring includes a cylindrical body with an upper end connected to a radially inwardly extending upper lip which engages the second surface of the cap and through which the plug extends. The compression ring also includes a radially inwardly extending lower lip which engages the finish ring of the container. The compression ring preferably includes a pull tab and perforations for easy removal.
