Abstract: The present invention provides a laminating method, when a multilayer printed wiring board is produced according to a build-up technique, for easily introducing an insulating layer that, under the lamination conditions, allows filling a resin inside a through hole and/or a via hole simultaneously with laminating a circuit board, is low in the thermal expansion coefficient of a formed insulating layer, and, after roughening a surface of the insulating layer, is excellent in the adhesiveness with a conductor layer that is formed according to plating. The present invention also provides a method of forming the insulating layer; and a method of producing the multilayer printed wiring board; and furthermore an adhesive film that is used in these methods.

Abstract: An electrical structure, and associated method of formation, that includes a complex power-signal (CPS) substructure. The CPS substructure is formed and tested to determine whether the CPS substructure satisfies electrical performance acceptance requirements. The testing includes testing for electrical shorts, electrical opens, erroneous impedances, and electrical signal delay. If the CPS substructure passes the tests, then a dielectric-metallic (DM) laminate is formed on an external surface of the CPS substructure. The DM laminate includes an alternating sequence of an equal number N of dielectric layers and metallic layers such that a first dielectric layer of the N dielectric layers is formed on an external surface of the CPS substructure. N is at least 2. A multilevel conductive via is formed through the DM laminate and is electrically coupled to a metal layer of the CPS substructure.

Abstract: Process and apparatus for producing a turbine component, turbine component and use of the apparatus Turbine components have to withstand high thermal and mechanical loads. It therefore proves advantageous for them to be made from a material with a preferred crystal orientation. Hitherto, the turbine components with a preferred crystal orientation have been produced as a single piece, with relatively high scrap rates. The proposed concept makes it possible to produce a preferred turbine component (9, 10) in a particularly simple way by assembling a turbine component (9, 10) at least from a first base part (1) and a build-up material (8), the subregion (7) of the joining zone having a preferred crystal orientation (2), so that disadvantageous properties of a joining zone without a preferred crystal orientation (2) which have hitherto been encountered are avoided.

One or more monolith members can be applied within the outer tube and heat shields may also be applied internal to the outer tube and adjacent to the monolith substrate. The assembly of the catalytic converter includes measuring the sequence of compression of the mat material to the monolith substrate in order to understand the possible force characteristics that can be applied during the assembly thereof. The mat material is therefore compressed within the outer tube by way of compression jaws, by compression rollers, by spinning and/or by a shrinker including compression members. When the pumping chamber is in a pumping mode during use, air is brought in from the outside and circulated through the mid sole and toe regions of the shoe.

Abstract: A levitation device for performing illusionary magic. Manually controlled by a three way valve switch concealed in the hand. Extending from the valve and running up the sleeve of the arm are three air lines in which the CO2 passes. One line is the supply line which comes from the CO2 tank that is strapped to the person's waist with a belt and straps, the secondary line or waste line provides for the release of air pressure as the person slowly descends to the ground. The third line leads down the side or back of the person into and down the pant leg eventually connecting to the shoe lift cylinder, which is custom fitted into the heel of the shoe. Activating the three way valve switch in the persons hand immediately and slowly increases the air pressure enabling the shoe cylinder piston shaft and platform to extend out from the heel bottom and downwards towards the ground, lifting the person four to six inches creating an illusionary floating like effect.

Abstract: In an iron (1) comprising a housing (2), a soleplate (3) which is to be moved in a displacement direction over a fabric (4) during operation, and heating means (5) for heating the soleplate (3), the soleplate (3) comprises cooling means (6) for setting at least a portion of the fabric during operation, which means are provided, seen in the displacement direction, behind the heating means (5). After heating of the fibers in the fabric, the cooling means comprised in the soleplate subsequently cool the fibers in the fabric which are under tensile and compression forces because the soleplate is still in contact with the fabric. This causes the fibers to become set quickly and effectively, which improves the result of the ironing.
