Abstract: Provided is protection gear against harmful insects that enables controlling and capturing of harmful insects in addition to protection against harmful insects. The protection gear against harmful insects includes a protection net made of ventilative cloth, woven fabric, or nonwoven fabric, the protection net being worn to cover the head, trunk, arms, hands, legs, and feet of the human body; and a fastener for fastening the protection net to the human body. Since the protection net is coated with an insecticide and/or a repellent, the effect of and insecticide and/or repellent lasts. Also, good durability is ensured since a washing is not required. Even if the sizes of ventilation holes of the protection net are larger than harmful insects, harmful insects can be dissuaded from settling on it. Furthermore, due to comfortable wearability, it can be used as a substitute for pajamas outdoors.

Abstract: The “Self-Holder” is a companion therapeutic product that is made of a piece of preferred fabric that is slightly smaller than, slightly greater than, or equal to 6 ft×8 ft in size. The “Self-Holder” has three sets of curvaceous “Gatherers” cut into the fabric to allow the consumer to easily gather and tuck the fabric into vital body pressure points. There are three “Gatherers” on the left and right side of the ‘Self-Holder”. The function of the Self-Holder is to enhance mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically therapeutic activities that the Self-Holder is needed to perform; decrease physical stress; encourage relaxation; provide consumers with some of the physical stimulation of being parallel held by their partner when their partner is unavailable; help you show love, compassion, and concern for yourself by holding yourself; and assist you in obtaining mental and emotional comfort by holding yourself.

Abstract: The present invention is a foot tent bedding apparatus for use with a bed having a mattress and spring. The apparatus further comprise a first panel defined by a inner edge and an opposite outer edge. The first panel extends laterally outward to a predetermined distance from the inner edge to the opposite outer edge. The opposite edge of the first panel is adapted to slide in between a spring and mattress at the foot of the bed. The apparatus further comprises a second panel. The second panel is defined by a inner edge and an opposite outer edge. The inner edge of the second panel forms substantially a right angle with the inner edge of the first panel. The second panel extends laterally upward to a predetermined distance above the height of the mattress to the opposite outer edge of the second panel. The apparatus further comprises a third portion. The third portion is formed along the top edge of the opposite outer edge of the second panel. The third portion has substantially a semi-circle shape.

Abstract: The pillow includes a pillow body with an upper curved member which includes a first convex curved portion which extends along the length of the upper surface of the pillow near the back edge of the pillow and a second convex curved portion which parallels the first curved portion and extends along the upper surface of the pillow near the front edge of the pillow. A concave curved portion extends between and joins the first and second convex curved portions. The height of the first convex curved portion is greater than the height of the second convex curved portion. A plurality of interior baffle walls extend lengthwise of the pillow, spaced and located so as to maintain the contour of the pillow when the pillow is filled with natural and/or synthetic filling.

Abstract: This invention relates to a fabric composite for use in fire-blocking a mattress, a fire-blocked mattress set, and a process for fire-blocking mattresses; the fabric composite comprising, in order, (a) sacrificial outer ticking, (b) sacrificial cushioning material, and (c) fire-blocking fabric, the fire-blocking fabric being a single layer of nonwoven fabric comprising at least 0.5 ounces per square yard (17 grams per square meter) of a cellulose fiber that retains at least 10 percent of its fiber weight when heated in air to 700 C at a rate of 20 degrees C. per minute, and at least 0.5 ounces per square yard (17 grams per square meter) of a heat-resistant fiber. Mattress sets fire-blocked with this fabric composite have a peak heat release rate of less than 150 kilowatts within 30 minutes, preferably less that 150 kilowatts within 60 minutes, and a total heat release of less than 25 megajoules within 10 minutes when tested according to Technical Bulletin 603 of the State of California.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method of using a rice peroxidase, particularly rice hull peroxidase, having excellent reactivity at high temperatures and reactivity. Dyed substances (dyes, etc.) are decomposed (discolored/bleached) in a washing liquor by means of a rice peroxidase. More particularly, in the case of washing or rinsing a portion with another portion in the dyed fabric with the same washing liquor, the transfer of textile dyes from the dyed fabric to the other fabric is inhibited. Further, textile dyes in a solution or a dispersion solution are bleached. The invention allows excellent prevention of dye transfer in washing or rinsing and thus provides a method better than bleaching textile dyes in a solution or a dispersion solution, and further a composition for prevention of dye transfer and for bleaching.
