  • Publication number: 20060090390
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for detaching a fish hook from an artificial bait. Said device comprises a first arm, a second arm that is displaceably connected to the first arm and a locking element. One of the two arms can be connected by a first end to the artificial bait or the fishing line and comprises means for receiving a fish hook on a second end. In a first relative arrangement, both arms hold the fish hook in the means for receiving a fish hook so that the latter cannot be detached and in a second relative arrangement release said fish hook. In a first position, the locking element retains both arms in their relative arrangement and in a second position permits a displacement of the arms in relation to one another.

Abstract: A structure of a mosquito trapper has a container filled with predetermined water, a supporting flotation body, and a trapping mesh below the flotation body and with the flotation body. The supporting flotation body conforming to the inner periphery of the container floats on the water, and can rise or fall freely as the water level varies due to the water amount increasing or decreasing. The holes of the trapping mesh must be smaller than a grown mosquito and large enough to allow larvae to pass therethrough in the initial stage. The female mosquito is attracted to produce eggs on the water surface. After the eggs becoming larvae, the larvae will swim into the trapping mesh to grow. The grown mosquitoes can be trapped in the container by the trapping mesh and finally die.

Abstract: A system comprises an item collating conveyor operable to form a plurality of items into a plurality of groups and transports each group of items in series in a first generally longitudinal direction to an item transfer station. The system also has a container delivery conveyor and a robotic device. The container delivery conveyor moves a plurality of containers from a container input station to the transfer station and then to a container output station. The robotic device has an end effector adapted to transfer each said group of items carried from the item collating conveyor into successive containers. Each item of the group of items is loaded together into each container by the robotic device while each container is moving in the second generally longitudinal direction. A controller controls the operation of the industrial robot. The tray conveyor can be configured with a three spaced chains, and a series of releasable and attachable lugs attached to the medial chain.

Abstract: A pouch feeder pushes pouches located at the top of a storage portion sidewards by a pusher to supply the pouches into a conveyance passage. A pouch aligner is moved in a reciprocating manner along the direction of the conveyance path so that the pouches delivered from the aforementioned conveyance passage and placed on another passage having a width smaller than the length of the pouch and greater than the width of the pouch, are moved toward the passage exit while being aligned into position with their length oriented along the direction of the passage. The pouches delivered in alignment from the passage exit are individually separated in the direction of conveyance and conveyed, one by one, into a loading chute, which in turn, loads the pouches, one by one, into packages.

Abstract: A cover is provided for an air filter that is used in automobile applications. The cover is adapted to generally fit over an air filter that has a cylindrical shape with filtering material on its top and vertical sides. The cover has a hole about its center axis that is sized to receive a screw provided on the top side of the air filter. The cover may be provided with one or more bearing mechanisms along its center to allow the cover to spin about its center axis. The cover has openings so that air may pass through the openings and into the top side of the air filter. The openings may have angled cuts, like a blade of a propeller, so that as air passes through the openings, the angle cuts cause the cover to spin relative to the air filter without inhibiting flow of air to the air filter.

Abstract: A filter assembly including a combination filter element for double filtration of air or other gasses is provided. The combination filter element includes a first filter medium and a second filter medium connected together. The first filter medium has an upstream face, a spaced-apart downstream face, and a plurality of channels extending therebetween. The second filter medium is located adjacent the downstream face. Gases entering the first filter medium through the upstream face flow in the channels and, upon exiting the downstream face, are directed toward the second filter medium. To connect the first and second filter mediums, a connecting band extends about the peripheries of the mediums.

Abstract: A filter element for filtering fluids and gasses flowing through a filter housing is provided. The filter element includes a permeable filter media for filtration of contaminants and a rigid frame for supporting and retaining the filter media. To ensure that gasses and fluids flow through the filter media rather than around the filter element, a resilient seal element is attached along an outer peripheral surface of the frame. The seal element can be resiliently compressed between the inner surface of the filter housing and the outer peripheral surface to create a sealing effect therebetween. To prevent the filter media from interfering with the seal element, the filter media is substantially constrained within the outer peripheral surface of the frame.
