Publication number: 20060185297Abstract: A combination structure of a quick assembly Do-It-Yourself (DIY) wood flooring each unit of which having a plastic base and a wood panel. Both of them are fitted together to form a whole. Two adjacent sides of the plastic base include a plurality of female portions while the other two adjacent sides thereof contain a plurality of male portions for fitting into the corresponding female portions thereof. By taking advantage of the flexibility of the plastic material and the tight connection between the concave portion and the convex portion of the wood panel, the invention may achieve a stable configuration without using nails for fixing purpose, ensure a quick and convenient assembly, and is especially applicable for DIY assembly.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 18, 2005Publication date: August 24, 2006Inventor: Tzu-Chiang Mei

Publication number: 20060185299Abstract: An insulated, one-side finished, building panel light enough to be handled by no more than two people during installation. The panel has an inner, relatively thick, insulation base and an outer, relatively thin, finish layer. The finish layer comprises a stucco-like material securely adhered to one surface of the insulation base. The panel has outer and inner surfaces and top and bottom edges, with the outer surface of the panel formed by the outer surface of the finish layer. The top and bottom sides of the finish layer form part of the top and bottom edges of the panel. The siding panel is provided with interlocking means for securely interlocking the top and bottom edges of adjacent siding panels together. The outer surface of the panel has finished groove forming sections at both the top and bottom edges. The groove forming sections of adjacent panels form a finished groove with the joint between the panels in the groove.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 8, 2005Publication date: August 24, 2006Inventor: Alain Poupart

Publication number: 20060185300Abstract: In combination, a first and a second wall component and a connector for connecting the first and second wall components. The first and second wall components are substantially elongated, each of the first and second wall components including respective first and second ends defining respective first and second end surfaces. The first and second wall components have respectively first and second substantially elongated and substantially longitudinal wall components apertures. The connector includes a base and a first projection extending substantially outwardly from the base, the first projection being insertable between the first end surface of the first wall component and the second end surface of the second wall component. A second projection for engaging the first wall component aperture extends substantially outwardly from the base. A distance between the first and second projections is substantially smaller than a distance between the first aperture and the first end surface of the first wall component.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 7, 2005Publication date: August 24, 2006Inventor: Jean-Robert Tremblay
