Abstract: Systems and methods for construction of space-truss structures are described herein. In some embodiments, software is provided that includes a design module for providing a three-dimensional surface model for the space-truss structure and a fabrication module for providing construction specifications for the space-truss structure. The fabrication module can receive the three-dimensional surface model generated by the design module as input. The space-truss structure is constructed of components including nodes, rods, and panels. These components are generated using the construction specifications provided by the fabrication module. The nodes can include multiple node portions constructed of flat, metal plates having end portions that are bent at 90-degree angles with respect to a base portion for assembly.

Abstract: A self-propelled agricultural harvester has a harvesting device arranged in a traveling and working direction of the harvester in front of a driver's cab. The harvesting device extends with its length in a transverse direction transverse to the traveling and working direction. The harvesting device has mowing and conveying devices that are driven in circulation about essentially vertical axes. Each side of the harvester has at least two of the mowing and conveying devices positioned adjacent to one another in the transverse direction. The devices cut, pick up, and convey as an endless conveyor an upright crop. The crop is fed to an intake area of the harvester exclusively with an area of the mowing and conveying device facing the upright crop. The mowing and conveying devices of each side of the harvester are driven in the same direction, respectively.

Abstract: A mower comprising a support structure on which are articulated by means of substantially horizontal axes at least two mowing units each comprising a frame carrying at least one cutterbar and one conveyor belt, which mowing units can be moved about said axes from a working position to a transport position. The said conveyor belts are articulated relative to the cutterbars by means of axes and there are means for automatically moving said conveyor belts about their axes of articulation to bring them closer to the carrier frames and consequently to the middle of the mower when placed in the transport position.
