Publication number: 20070034412Abstract: A drilling assembly supports a liner for making a wellbore. The BHA comprises a pilot bit and a reamer above it that is larger in diameter than the suspended liner. If the BHA needs to be pulled out, the reamer is brought into contact with the liner and a latch mechanism between the two engages as another latch that had held the reamer bit to the BHA is released. Publication number: 20070034440Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for preventing unintended acceleration of a vehicle. In the method according to the invention, a first actuation variable which describes actuation (VFB) of a driving operating element which is provided for influencing drive means of the vehicle is determined, the vehicle remaining unaccelerated if an idling condition which is dependent on the first actuation variable which is determined is fulfilled. In addition to the first actuation variable, a second actuation variable which describes actuation (VBB) of a brake operating element which is provided for influencing braking means of the vehicle is determined, the idling condition also being dependent on the second actuation variable which is determined.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 2, 2004Publication date: February 15, 2007Applicant: DaimlerChrysler AGInventor: Zoltan Zomotor

Publication number: 20070034441Abstract: A power train and a method for controlling and regulating a power train of a motor vehicle with at least two drivable motor vehicle axles. A main transmission is arranged between a motor and the motor vehicle axles for representing various gear ratios. Furthermore, a controllable and regulatable clutch is provided between the main transmission and each of the motor vehicle axles, respectively, whose transmission capacity is respectively adjustable by means of an actuator system. A drive torque can be distributed between the motor vehicle axles as a function of the set transmission capacities of the clutches. The transmission capacities of the clutches can be adjusted to the distribution of the drive torque as needed and optimized as to efficiency by the actuator system such that one clutch can be operated in a slip operation, while the other clutch can be held at least nearly in a synchronous state.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 21, 2004Publication date: February 15, 2007Inventors: Christoph Pelchen, Barbara Schmohl, Ulrich Mair

Publication number: 20070034442Abstract: A lock mechanism for a steering ratio varying device in which a steering ratio increase and decrease shaft is controlled by a motor through a worm gear and a worm wheel. The lock mechanism includes a lock plate mounted on a shaft of the worm gear or a shaft of the motor and having a plurality of cutout portions. Each cutout portion has a corner section. A lock member is engageable with the cutout portion of the lock plate. A lock release member has an inclined surface engageable with the corner section of the cutout portion of the lock plate to push back the lock plate by an amount corresponding to a backlash of the worm gear. An electromagnetic device includes a plunger spring and a solenoid coil. The lock member and the lock release member are engaged with the cutout portion of the lock plate by a pushing force of the plunger and disengaged from the cutout portion by an attracting force of the solenoid coil. A tight meshing between the lock plate and the lock member is prevented by the lock release member.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 21, 2006Publication date: February 15, 2007Inventor: Kyoichi Inoue

Publication number: 20070034444Abstract: A reflecting plate type silencer pipe including a reflecting plate is provided for reducing a dominant frequency noise passing through a pipeline. Sound waves propagated in the pipeline as a one-dimensional plane wave are divided into two, that is, sound waves advancing straight along the pipeline and sound waves caused to pass through a bypass route by the reflecting plate thereby being delayed in phase. Both of the sound waves are joined again so as to synchronously advance in the same direction and in parallel to each other with the sound waves being the same in amplitude and opposite in phase to each other, and wave interference is effected between the sound waves, whereby wave propagation energy of the sound wave of the frequency to be silenced passing through the pipeline is selectively dissipated.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 14, 2006Publication date: February 15, 2007Applicants: MK Seiko Co., Ltd., Viva Co., Ltd.Inventor: Akira Yaoita
