Publication number: 20070039583Abstract: An intake manifold is disclosed. The intake manifold includes a first chamber in fluid communication with a PCV line and disposed generally upstream of a second chamber. The chambers are designed to provide a long flow path for the moisture laden PCV gas and to help reduce the introduction of moisture or fluids into the second chamber. This helps to prevent the ingestion of moisture or fluids by the combustion chambers of engine. An optional fluid blocker can also be used to trap fluids and help prevent those fluids from entering a cylinder port.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 22, 2005Publication date: February 22, 2007Applicant: Honda Motor Co., Ltd.Inventors: Joel Lewis, Marcos DeLeon, Jared Shattuck, Tanabe Yuichiro, Takeshi Aoki

Publication number: 20070039588Abstract: The technique of the present invention produces a first fuel-air mixture containing a first fuel and the air at a specific ratio, which does not allow for auto ignition of the first fuel-air mixture by simple compression, in a combustion chamber. The technique then injects a second fuel, which has a higher octane value than that of the first fuel, into a partial area of the combustion chamber, so as to produce a second fuel-air mixture. The technique ignites the second fuel-air mixture for combustion, so as to compress and auto-ignite the first fuel-air mixture. The second fuel has the higher octane value, so that a combustion start timing of the second fuel-air mixture is reliably regulated by ignition. Namely the technique positively controls the timing of auto ignition of the first fuel-air mixture. Setting an adequate value to the ignition timing thus effectively prevents the occurrence of knocking in an internal combustion engine that adopts a premix compression ignition combustion system.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 31, 2006Publication date: February 22, 2007Applicant: TOYOTA JIDOSHA KABUSHIKI KAISHAInventor: Tatsuo Kobayashi

The common fuel rail may be hydraulically locked except during injection events of any of the plurality of fuel injectors, or during a recharge stroke of the piston. The intensifier piston may be controlled to perform a recharge stroke once during each engine cycle, or more than once during each engine cycle.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 19, 2005Publication date: February 22, 2007Applicant: Gov. of the U.S.A., as represented by the Administrator of the U.S. Envir. The systems include a control unit for coordinating therapy delivery between an infusion device and a pulse generator, such that a therapeutic agent is administered at a predetermined time relative to application of either low frequency or high frequency stimulation. For example, the control unit may instruct the infusion device to deliver therapeutic agent at a predetermined time prior to delivery of low frequency stimulation. Systems that include more than one infusion device or an infusion pump capable of delivering more than one therapeutic agent are also described.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 14, 2006Publication date: February 22, 2007Applicant: MEDTRONIC, INC.Inventors: Kenneth Heruth, Mark Lent, Ruchika Singhal, Michael Schendel

Publication number: 20070039629Abstract: A hairpin comprises a base sheet; a clamping sheet; and a bendable portion formed at the connection of the base sheet and the clamping sheet so that the hairpin is openable and closeable. The base sheet has a long hole. The slide-stop protruding strip is installed on the base sheet. When the body of the clamping sheet resists against the base sheet, the body will press the hairs upon the protruding strip of the slide-stop strip so as to clamp and fix the hair. The hair will not slide out as in the prior art due to the smoothness of the metal sheets. The textured or figured protruding strip serves to provide a beautiful outlook.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 22, 2005Publication date: February 22, 2007Inventor: Shyh-Ming Shyu

Publication number: 20070039632Abstract: Devices and methods for continuous cleaning of contaminant-coated hangers or racks by removing the overspray contaminant that is detrimental to the powder coating operation. Exemplary cleaning systems use radio frequency (RF) energy to heat the overspray coating and soften it. The coating is heated to an intermediate level that is less than the incineration point, wherein the coating would be reduced to ash.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 27, 2006Publication date: February 22, 2007Inventors: Edgar Dean, Michael Blackburn
