The provided book comprises a plurality of first pages that consist of a first material and at least one second page that consists of a second material, wherein the plurality of first pages are fused and connected to each other through at least one hole on the at least one second page. In the meanwhile, the plurality of first pages and at least one second page are bound together and thus forms the provided book.

Abstract: A multi page product hang tag includes at least one overlay sheet having pages hingedly attached to a spine with the spine attached to a backing sheet. The backing sheet is attachable to a displayable product, e.g., a binder. Each overlay sheet has an interruption between each page and the spine connected by laminate material that forms a hinge along each interruption. In manufacture, an indicia carrying sheet, e.g., stock, is formed to remove material defining each page and spine along with the hinge-defining interruption therebetween. At least one bridge of the sheet extends between each page and spine above and/or below its corresponding interruption. After laminating the formed sheet, additional forming removes each bridge producing a multi-paged overlay sheet that is in turn attached to a backing sheet to form a product hang tag in accordance with the invention.

Abstract: An expandable notebook for retaining and displaying papers or other materials includes a binder having a pair of decorative front and back covers connected to each other by an expandable spine. The spine is made of a plicated material for expansion and contraction, and has opposing slots on each side for receiving flexible, self-locking retainer straps which are adjustable for retaining various thicknesses of material. In a preferred embodiment each retainer strap is mounted through a pair of opposing slots formed on each side of the plicated spine, thereby surrounding the spine, and when locked in place the strap forms an adjustable loop which lies between the inner surfaces of the covers, to accommodate varied thicknesses of bound material within the loop and protected within the binder covers.

Abstract: A mailpiece fabrication system including a source for providing sheet material having mailpiece data printed thereon. The mailpiece fabrication system further includes at least one spatial positioning device adapted to direct the sheet material along one of two fabrication paths. Each fabrication path includes a fabrication assembly for producing one of at least two mailpiece configurations. In one embodiment, the spatial positioning device includes an orbiting nip roller for changing the elevation of the sheet material while, furthermore, providing an accurate and controlled mechanism for stacking and aligning sheet material to produce a flats mailpiece. In another embodiment, the spatial positioning device includes a routing roller in combination with the orbit nip roller to change the orientation of the sheet material. The routing roller is employed to change the direction of the sheet material relative to the feed path.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a temporary card carrier laminate that is produced by using a substantially rigid card base that is coated with a curable material. The coating is used to create a bond between the card base and an over laminate that is readily broken upon application of sufficient tearing pressure. The over laminate is then left substantially free of any adhesive residue after it is removed from the laminate assembly. The temporary laminate is produced through a unique process that includes preparing an over laminate web by printing, then cutting the web into individual segments and placing each of the segments on individual card blanks and then curing the card carrier assemblies. Each connector assembly includes a male and female adapters. The female adapter includes a latching member with an opening that has a bottom. The bottom is configured to allow for easily inserting, retaining, and releasing the male adapter.

The latching mechanism may bias the enclosure door to a closed position, while permitting movement of the door, without unlatching of the mechanism, during fault conditions within the enclosure, such as to permit the escape of hot gasses.

The housing has a locking assembly comprising an actuator and a catch. The actuator is adapted to move the catch. The catch is adapted to engage and disengage a keeper as the actuator is moved from a first position to a second position. The movement of the catch from a first position to a second position causes an indicator means in the housing to signal whether the locking assembly of the sash lock is in a locking position.

Abstract: The present invention is a simple and effective door latch that improves the strength and security of a door. The device utilizes a central segment with an attached slide lock and a strike plate, wherein the strike plate of the door latch can replace any standard strike plate present in an existing doorjamb. Once the device is attached to the doorjamb, the slide lock is then secured to the door handle by the narrow segment of the handle clip. The device is adjustable to allow for variations in the size of door handles.

Abstract: A gate lock is composed of a lock base, a lock core with a slot defined therein, a latch member and a bolt assembly. A gate is mounted in a frame, which can be mounted in a doorway. The gate lock is mounted on the gate and the bolt assembly of the gate lock is mounted on the frame. When the gate is closed, the bolt is engaged in the slot in the lock core. The lock core is then rotated 90 degrees. The bolt will not slide out of the slot, and the gate is locked. To unlock the gate, the lock core is rotated 90 degrees in the opposite direction. The gate is then lifted upward allowing the bolt to slide out of the slot, thus enabling the gate to swing open.

The collector includes a preassembled combination of a bag and a frame that holds the bag open. Therefore, the handle does not need to be cleaned, because it is only the disposable collector that has contacted the pet excrement.

Abstract: A handle for use with a pick-up tool includes first and second side panels, a pivoting trigger, an integrated grip, and a locking mechanism for selectively locking the trigger. The trigger extends through an upper housing of the side panels, and the grip extends from a rear section of the upper housing. The locking mechanism may include a pin located within a slot formed within the trigger, and a locking pawl that has notches which are sized to be received by the pin. The locking mechanism may also include a torsion spring that has a first leg for coupling to the locking pawl, and a sliding thumb tab that is located in the rear section of the upper housing. The thumb tab may contain an engagement structure for selectively engaging the first leg of the torsion spring. In use, downward sliding of the thumb tab causes one of the notches of the locking pawl to engage the pin and effectively lock the trigger.

Abstract: A vehicle part such as a body molding includes a trim piece connected to a bearer piece by a flexible and foldable hinge, which is preferably integrally molded with the trim and bearer pieces in a single injection mold. The trim piece and bearer piece are folded about the molded hinge to rotate towards each other and are snap-fitted together to form an integral body side molding that can be adhesively and/or clippedly affixed to a support surface, such as a vehicle body side panel. Methods for manufacturing and installing such vehicle parts are also disclosed.

In moving from the first to the second position, the seat is elevated and rotated by the movement of the links.
