Publication number: 20070186979Abstract: A device for automatically maintaining a desired water level in a water structure, such as a pond, pool or decorative water fountain. The device includes a reserve tank that is connected to the water structure by an open tube, or pipe, thus allowing the water level in the reserve tank to be the same as the water level in the water structure. When the water level in the structure drops, so does the water level in the device. When the water level in the device drops below a pre-defined level, a water supply switch is activated and more water is added to the reserve tank. As water is added to the reserve tank, water also flows through the open tube into the water structure, and the water levels in the reserve tank and in the water structure both rise at similar rates. When the water level in the reserve tank reaches a pre-defined full level, the water supply switch is de-activated and the flow of water to the reserve tank, and to the water structure, is shut off.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 10, 2006Publication date: August 16, 2007Inventors: William Thompson, Justin Reynolds

Publication number: 20070187016Abstract: In producing a side-reinforced type runflat tire in which side reinforcing rubbers with generally crescent-shaped sections are interposed between a carcass and an inner liner, the first drums 11a, 11b on which the side-reinforcing rubbers are to be attached are so configured that their diameter do not substantially fluctuate along the axial direction. The expanding operation of the first drum, the mutually approaching operation of the first drums 11a, 11b, and the approaching operation of the bead gripping rings 30A are synchronized. As a result, there is provided a tire and a method of its production capable of being produced by a multi-size mixed flow production system consisting of minimum equipments and of preventing air inclusions and wrinkles between the carcass member 4A and the side-reinforcing rubber 2A.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 14, 2004Publication date: August 16, 2007Inventors: Yuichiro Ogawa, Chihiro Sawada

Publication number: 20070187017Abstract: A method for affixing covering products to building structures is described. The covering product includes a thermoplastic membrane, a layer in which a fabric that includes an adhesive coating, and a release liner. The layer is affixed to a primary surface of the membrane. After the covering product is transported to the building structure, the release liner is removed, and the covering produce is adhered to the building structure.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 11, 2007Publication date: August 16, 2007Inventor: Michael Hubbard

Publication number: 20070187018Abstract: A method for producing a tyre for a vehicle wheel includes disposing a carcass structure on a drum having distal and proximal halves; disposing a belt structure around the carcass structure; moving the distal and proximal halves mutually close, from a building condition to a shaping condition, until an intermediate portion of the carcass structure contacts an inner surface of the belt structure; and transferring the drum, in the shaping condition, to a vicinity of at least one application unit. The distal and proximal halves are both carried by a support structure. During moving the distal and proximal halves mutually close, the proximal half maintains a fixed axial position with respect to the support structure. The at least one unit applies at least one elongated element of elastomeric material, in circumferential coils, to form at least one component of the tyre external to the carcass structure.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 30, 2003Publication date: August 16, 2007Inventors: Claudio Lacagnina, Ignazio De Gese

Publication number: 20070187020Abstract: A web processing machine permitting inspection and repair of a roll of web material includes an inspection zone vertically juxtaposed to a splicing zone. The inspection zone is structured to be removed from the juxtaposed position to a retracted position in which the splicing zone is exposed to permit an operator to perform a modification of the web without having to substantially move physically from the position in which the operator was located to perform inspection while the machine is running.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 7, 2007Publication date: August 16, 2007Inventor: Allan Prittie

Publication number: 20070187021Abstract: An apparatus comprising a fiber placement head assembly and an infrared heating assembly is provided. The fiber placement head assembly includes a compaction roller assembly and a feeder assembly. An infrared heating assembly, a cooling mechanism, temperature sensors, and a controller are operably coupled to the fiber placement head assembly. The infrared heating assembly includes an infrared heater that generates a heating profile. The heating profile defines a heating zone on either a tool or previously laid tows. If the burn point of either the tool or previously laid tows within the heating zone is approached, the controller, which receives temperature readings from the temperature sensors, simultaneously disables the infrared heater and activates the cooling mechanism. As such, the tool and the previously laid tows are protected from being ruined due to an over temperature condition.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 15, 2007Publication date: August 16, 2007Applicant: INGERSOLL MACHINE TOOLS, INC.Inventors: Tino Oldani, Daniel Goebel
