  • Patent number: 7267154
Abstract: A water-proof film laminating machine has a laminating machine body, a top roller, a bottom roller, multiple connecting devices, a cylinder, a first holder, a second holder and a cooling device. The holders are connected to the connecting devices and driven by the cylinder. The holders provide heat to melt a film attaching on a texture and the holders can be adjusted to focus on the film precisely. The cooling device cools down a high temperature from the melting film. When the water-proof film laminating machine is in use, a texture is put between the rollers and the film is attached on texture by melting the film. By adjusting the holders, the film will attach to the texture precisely and be cooled down quickly.

  • Patent number: 7267172
Abstract: A cemented open hole selective fracing system is shown. In the producing zone, an open hole is drilled therein and a production tubing is cemented in place. At preselected locations along the production tubing, the production tubing will have sliding valves located there along. The sliding valves may be selectively opened by a shifting tool, and the cement around the sliding valve dissolved. Thereafter, the formation may be fraced immediately adjacent the opened sliding valve. By selectively opening different combinations of sliding valves, fracing can occur in stages with more fracing pressure and more fracing fluid being delivered deeper into the formation. Just as the sliding valves can be selectively opened with a switching tool, the sliding valves can also be selectively closed to protect the production of the well.

  • Patent number: 7267176
Abstract: A wireline jar tool delivers instrument packages into wellbores and retrieves tools when they get stuck. The jar has several stored spring chambers connected to accelerate an upper spring chamber away from a stuck lower carrier chamber that supports instrument packages. Wireline tension actuates the jarring action and then lowers a sinker bar for reset as many times as required to incrementally jar the un-stick fish uphole. The wire line connects to a conductor that extends inside the tool through a main operating shaft, release coupling, hammer and anvil, lost motion coupling, into the lower chamber where the end connects to the instruments for communication to the surface. • Patent number: 7267178
Abstract: A fluid system component is provided that is implemented as a section of metal pipe having a predetermined wall thickness and including a sacrificial element intended to preferentially fail upon the occurrence of certain predefined conditions. The sacrificial element takes the form of a window of predetermined geometry that covers an opening defined in the wall of the pipe. The window is configured to have a thickness substantially less than the wall thickness of the pipe, but nonetheless sufficiently great that the window remains materially unaffected by normal system operating conditions to which it is exposed. When the window is exposed to a pressure differential of predetermined magnitude, typically much greater than normal system operating pressures, the relatively thin window ruptures and permits the pressurized material, either inside or outside the pipe, to flow through the rupture.

  • Patent number: 7267188
Abstract: An electric vehicle has a control unit having a decelerating control function of decelerating an electric motor disposed on a side of a vehicle body corresponding to a turning direction of the electric vehicle, and an accelerating control function of outputting an accelerating control signal for performing acceleration control to accelerate the electric motor when operation of the electric vehicle is switched from a first traveling mode to a second traveling mode. When the electric motor has a speed not exceeding a predetermined reference speed, the accelerating control function performs the acceleration control such that a level of the accelerating control signal is increased abruptly for a temporary time from the switching of the operation of the electric vehicle from the first traveling mode to the second traveling mode.

  • Patent number: 7267192
Abstract: A motor-driven vehicle includes a first vehicle body with a sleeve tube, a second vehicle body with an insert rod disposed telescopically within the sleeve tube, and a locking device including a pull rod, a retaining block and a resilient member. The pull rod is movable on the first vehicle body between a locking position and a release position. When the pull rod is disposed at the locking position, the retaining block extends through a hole in the sleeve tube and engages a selected one of holes in the insert tube of the second vehicle body. When the pull rod is disposed at the release position, the retaining block is removed from the holes in the insert rod. The resilient member biases the pull rod to the locking position.

  • Patent number: 7267193
Abstract: A frame structure for a motorcycle includes a front fork which journals a front wheel and that is capable of being steered and supported by a head pipe. Front end portions of a pair of right and left pipe members are connected contiguously to the head pipe and extend downwardly and rearwardly from the head pipe. The pair of right and left pipe members each have a substantially prismatic cross sectional shape and are each bent at their longitudinally intermediate portions so as to be outwardly convex with respect to the sides of the motorcycle frame. An engine is disposed between lower portions of both pipe members in an engine mounting space. The present invention narrows the distance between the upper portions of the right and left pipe members and effectively increases the space between the lower portions of the pair of right and left pipe members.

  • Patent number: 7267194
Abstract: A second pedal bracket 25 that supports a brake pedal 11 by a pedal support shaft 27 is swingably connected, via a bracket support shaft 28, to an upper part of a first pedal bracket 20 fixed to a dashpanel 3. Both the first and second pedal brackets 20 and 25 and a restricting/derestricting member 32 are connected to each other by a bolt 37 to restrict swinging of the second pedal bracket 25. Upon collision of an automobile, a rear end wall 39 of the restricting/derestricting member 32 abuts against an instrument member 7, thus moving the member 32 and bolt 37 relatively forward to derestrict the second pedal bracket 25. Then, an arm 40 extended upward from the second pedal bracket 25 abuts against the instrument member 7, thus rotating the second pedal bracket 25 to displace the pedal support shaft 27 backward.

  • Patent number: 7267196
Abstract: A squeeze film damper reduces acoustic wave transmission by the damping and spring forces produced by squeezing a very thin layer of air trapped between two vibrating plates. The damping effect is most pronounced when the gap between vibrating plates is very small, e.g., of the order of micrometers, thus, the squeeze film dampers have two, very closely-spaced opposing plates, the top of which vibrates out-of-phase with respect to the lower plate, when the lower plate is attached to a vibrating surface. The relative motion of plates squeezes out the thin film of air trapped within the plates and adds substantial amount of passive damping over a wideband of frequency to the base vibrating structure thereby reducing vibrations and noise radiated by the structure. The out-of-phase displacement of the top plate, with respect to the bottom plate, tends to cancel acoustic energy imparted to the lower plate by a vibrating surface. Squeeze film dampers can be applied in arrays to a vibrating surface.
