Publication number: 20070235062Abstract: A substrate on the surface of which the liquid film is formed in a cleaning unit is transported to a freezing unit by a substrate transporting mechanism. The liquid film is frozen in the freezing unit and the volume of the liquid film increases. Accordingly, adhesive forces between the substrate and the particles are reduced and the particles even come to separate from the substrate surface. Then the substrate which has been processed freezing is transported from the freezing unit to the cleaning unit again by the substrate transporting mechanism. In the cleaning unit, a physical and/or chemical cleaning is executed to the substrate, and the frozen film is removed from the substrate surface. Thus, the liquid film formation and the freezing of the liquid film is performed as a preprocessing of the physical and/or chemical cleaning in this way, whereby the particles are removed from the substrate surface efficiently.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 4, 2007Publication date: October 11, 2007Inventors: Naozumi Fujiwara, Katsuhiko Miya, Akira Izumi

Publication number: 20070235064Abstract: Pure water dissolving nitrogen gas and containing microbubbles is supplied to a substrate. Since microbubbles are very minute in size and also have the electrostatic property, they can efficiently adsorb particles on the substrate surface or in the pure water. Further, since pure water dissolving nitrogen gas is unlikely to be charged, the pure water itself never carries new particles from each component of the apparatus. These functions allow efficient particle removal from the substrate surface or the liquid.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 23, 2005Publication date: October 11, 2007Inventors: Koji Hasegawa, Masato Tanaka, Ayumi Higuchi, Kenichiro Arai

An outer impermeable film is placed about the inner tubular layer and may be impregnated with vacuum in the usual manner. Alternatively, the tubular resin impregnable material may be passed through a resin tank and impregnated with a curable resin prior to being wrapped with an outer impermeable layer. The impregnated liner is then suitable for pull-n-and-inflate which can be by steam in view of the integral inner impermeable layer of the liner.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 19, 2007Publication date: October 11, 2007Inventor: Franklin Driver

Publication number: 20070235099Abstract: A riser tube for landscape irrigation is provided by a substantially rigid hollow conduit, threaded at each end for attachment to an irrigation system. The hollow conduit is made by extruding a polycarbonate resin wherein the resin has a property of ductility at low temperatures. The resin may also be stabilized against degradation by ultra-violet light. A suitable resin is Lexan™ EXL 1434 polycarbonate resin.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 17, 2006Publication date: October 11, 2007Inventor: Chris Okkerse

Publication number: 20070235101Abstract: A semi-rigid, flexible duct including a pair of coaxial sleeves, namely an inner sleeve and an outer sleeve disposed parallel to and about the inner sleeve and a resilient wound element disposed between the sleeves. Each of the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve includes a first layer having metallic properties and at least one of them further includes a second, plastic layer bonded to the first layer. The wound element imparts corrugations to the two sleeves, such that the duct is extendible between a compacted configuration suitable for storage and for shipping and an extended configuration suitable for installation in a gas transport arrangement. All of the layers of both the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve are of a thickness predetermined to together render the duct substantially rigid when in an extended configuration and predetermined to together enable the duct to maintain its substantial rigidity upon extension from a compacted configuration.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 13, 2007Publication date: October 11, 2007Inventors: Steven Liebson, Graeme Liebson, Robert Cohen

Publication number: 20070235102Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for weaving pile fabrics having at least two different pile heights in a same pile row in a weaving machine of the gripper-Axminster type, comprising at least two pile yarn carriers (2, 3) separately driven for the selection according to a pattern to be woven, of one or several pile yarns (4) being presented, in a position (5) selected, to a gripper (1) driven by an oscillating gripper shaft, provided to draw the selected pile yarn (4) off the pile yarn carrier (2, 3) throughout a length desired, by rotating the gripper shaft. The said weaving machine furthermore comprises a cutting device (6) to cut through the pile yarn (4) selected after the selection and after which this pile yarn (4) is inserted into the fabric. The present invention likewise relates to pile fabrics manufactured according to such a method and to a gripper-Axminster weaving machine to apply this method.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 23, 2007Publication date: October 11, 2007Inventor: Koen Bruynoghe

Publication number: 20070235103Abstract: A method and apparatus for forming an unmixed layer of a first liquid on or beneath the surface of a second liquid contained in a separate vessel. An upper receptacle receives and dispenses a first liquid onto a collar attached to the upper receptacle through outlets in the lower portion of the upper receptacle. The collar guides the first liquid to the outer walls of a second lower distribution member attached along to the bottom of the upper receptacle. The first liquid is evenly distributed from a lower edge of the distribution member onto or beneath the surface of a second liquid in a separate vessel. The first liquid forms an unmixed, separated liquid layer from the second liquid.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 30, 2006Publication date: October 11, 2007Inventor: Douglas Taverna

Publication number: 20070235104Abstract: A machine for filling cups with foodstuff has metering stations having metering modules provided with filling nozzles, respectively, for introducing product flows into horizontally supplied cups. A programmable control unit cooperates with the metering modules in such a way that in a filling process, by means of controlled tilting and/or lifting actions of the filling nozzles, variable filling structures are generated from the product flows in the cups.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 4, 2007Publication date: October 11, 2007Applicant: FINNAH ENGINEERING UND PACKAGING GMBHInventor: Berthold Lingenhoff
