  • Patent number: 7297831
Abstract: Disclosed is a process of preparing aromatic hydrocarbons and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from a hydrocarbon mixture, in which a non-aromatic compound in the hydrocarbon feedstock mixture is converted into a gaseous material having a large amount of LPG through hydrocracking, and an aromatic compound therein is converted into an oil component having large amounts of benzene, toluene, and xylene (BTX) through dealkylation and transalkylation, in the presence of a catalyst obtained by supporting platinum/bismuth onto a mixture support having zeolite and an inorganic binder. The gaseous product is separated into LPG and a mixture of methane and ethane depending on differences in boiling point through distillation, while the liquid product is separated into benzene, toluene, xylene, and C9+ aromatic compounds depending on differences in boiling point through distillation.

  • Patent number: 7297838
Abstract: Development of an efficient and cost-effective doubled haploid production system and genetic transformation system are the prerequisite to initiate haploid breeding and genetic modification in flax respectively. Pre-culturing anthers on a high osmotic, high auxin and high mineral salt concentration for a period of time before transfer to a low osmotic, low auxin and low salt concentration significantly increased the overall efficiency of regeneration or anther efficiency than directly culturing anthers on a low osmotic, low auxin and low salt concentration medium. This culture procedure also dramatically reduced the frequency of shoot regeneration from somatic cells in anther culture. Using this procedure, a highly efficient anther culture-derived callus based transformation system was developed.

  • Patent number: 7297875
Abstract: A signal processing module can be manufactured from a plurality of composite substrate layers, each substrate layer includes elements of multiple individual processing modules. Surfaces of the layers are selectively metalicized to form signal processing elements when the substrate layers are fusion bonded in a stacked arrangement. Prior to bonding, the substrate layers are milled to form gaps located at regions between the processing modules. Prior to bonding, the leads are positioned such that they extend from signal coupling points on said metalicized surfaces into the gap regions. The substrate layers are then fusion bonded to each other such that the plurality of substrate layers form signal processing modules with leads that extend from an interior of the modules into the gap areas. The individual modules may then be separated by milling the substrate layers to de-panel the modules.

Abstract: Apply heat to thermoplastic resin film, which is eventually to become an insulating resin layer, and press the film against a mold for forming grooves on a surface of the film. Next, press-fit an electronic component into the resin film from a back-face of the film, thereby exposing electrodes of the component from a bottom of the grooves. Then cool the film for curing. Peel the film off the mold, then fill the grooves with conductive paste, and cure the paste for forming circuit patterns. The foregoing procedure allows bringing the electrodes positively into conduction with the circuit patterns of a circuit board incorporating the electronic component, and achieving a narrower pitch between routings of the circuit patterns.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a high frequency laminated component, which is used in a high frequency apparatus such as a radio communication apparatus, and its manufacturing method. An object thereof is to downsize the high frequency laminated component. To achieve the object, according to the high frequency laminated component of the present invention, dielectric layer (4) whose dielectric constant is lower than that of other areas is formed around via-hole electrode (3) in a dielectric. By forming dielectric layer (4) having a low dielectric constant, electric interference between via-hole electrode (3) and circuit electrode (22) is restrained, so that the circuit electrode and the via-hole electrode can be formed more closely each other compared with a conventional one. As a result, the high frequency laminated component can be downsized.
