Abstract: The invention relates to a hinge/tilt window with a window frame and a casement with a casement frame that can be tilted about a horizontal rotational axis (X) and about a vertical rotational axis in relation to the window frame. The window also includes a hinge/tilt shank for opening and closing the casement. The hinge/tilt shank has a main arm that is hinged on the casement frame for tilting the casement and a gear with multiple articulations that is hinged on the main arm and the window frame in order to rotate the casement about the vertical rotational axis. A drive device, which is driven by an electric motor, includes a feed chain for opening the casement into a tilted position and for closing the casement from the tilted position.

Abstract: Structure and procedure for erecting concrete towers used in wind turbines in which said towers consist of sections, which in turn may each comprise a different number of segments or longitudinal sections. The procedure includes two differentiated cycles, which may take place alongside each other: the pre-assembly of each section of tower and their assembly. The sections may be pre-mounted on bases placed on the ground, with the segment in turn fitted with the help of struts and mechanical clamps. This procedure is extremely versatile in that it makes the best logistic use of the material, resources and requisite assembly times since the assembly procedures for each section can be developed alongside each other in the different wind farm towers, and also greater heights can be achieved than is traditionally possible.

The discrete polyhedrons are spaced apart from each other at equilibrium in a predetermined generally regular pattern, and each polyhedron is comprised of edges, faces and vertices. The connection network at least partially constrains the discrete polyhedrons relative to each polyhedron's six degrees of freedom. In some embodiments, the connections extend along the bias of the array. In other embodiments, the connections extend along radial directions. All implementations can be constructed as regular arrays or in lattice networks.

The invention also relates to the method of compressing and packaging a single, unused absorbent article that includes inserting the article into the package, compressing the article, and sealing the package to preserve the compressed state of the article. The compression may be achieved through the use of a vacuum to remove air from the package and absorbent article, or other means of compressing the absorbent article before or after the article is inserted in the package. The absorbent article may be packaged together with other products in a kit. An example kit may be a baby diaper changing kit that includes a single diaper, a changing pad, and wet wipes, and the package maintains at least the compressed state of the diaper.

Abstract: A BIB carton (150) conjoins a bag (12) with a carton (11) preparatory to carton fill, with an intervening locating collar (14) upon a bag neck upstand (52); an assembly and fill process brings successive individual cartons (41) into juxtaposition with a bag (51) in a continuous bag web (55), using the neck (52) for alignment and registration; a locating retention collar (14) is applied to secure bag neck (52) to carton (41), to create a sub-assembly web stack (71) of conjoined flat-pack BIB cartons (20); an inflation (test) station (110) retrieves these sub-assemblies (20) and inflates/fills them via successive valve caps (111) secured to collars (14); bag (51) inflation/fill causes carton (41) formation around it, before a taping machine closes and seals top (56, 42, 48) and bottom (57, 58) carton flaps.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for producing and filling containers. According to the invention, at least one tube (12) made of a softened plastic material is extruded into an open mold (16), the leading end of said tube (12) is welded when the mold (16) is closed in order to form the bottom of the container, the tube (12) is cut in two above the mold by means of a cutting element (28) so as to form a feed hole (18), and the mold (16), along with the tube (12) comprising the open feed hole (18), is moved into a filling position in which the container is filled and then sealed after being configured in the mold (16) by generating a pressure gradient that acts upon the tube (12) and expands the same. The feed hole (18) of the tube (12) is covered by a sterile barrier (30) at least from the moment said feed hole (18) is formed to the time the associated container is filled in a sterile space.

Abstract: A device (8) for forming containers (2) produced continuously from a tubular wrapper (3) fed along a substantially vertical direction of advance (A). The device has at least one support carriage (8a) movable along a respective closed path (P) having at least one active segment (P?) parallel the direction of advance (A). The carriage (8a) supports a sealing base (11) able to be associated to a first lateral face (2a) of said tubular wrapper (3) at a sealing region (Z) of the wrapper (3) itself. A contrasting element (14) is removably associated to the support carriage (8a) and movable between first closed position in which it is approached to the base (11) and abuts against a second lateral face (2b) of the tubular wrapper (3) opposite to the first lateral face (2a) at the sealing region (Z), and a second position in which it is movable way from the base (11). The device also has means (10) for actuating the support carriage (8a) and means (38) for cutting said tubular wrapper (3) to obtain the containers (2).
