    Abstract: A configurable wellhead system is used to efficiently accomplish well completion, re-completion or workover. The configurable wellhead system includes a permanent fracturing spool that is mounted to a casing head of the well and provides a high pressure seal around a top of a casing of the well. The permanent fracturing spool provides full-bore direct access to the casing without the use of a pressure isolation mandrel. A tubing head is mounted to a top of the permanent fracturing spool to complete the configurable wellhead system. A fracturing spool plug secured in a seal bore of the permanent fracturing spool permits equipment mounted above the permanent fracturing spool to be removed without killing the well or inserting a wireline casing plug.

    Abstract: An invention is presented that will usher in a new and markedly improved era of open, large scale fire fighting. ‘The Invention’ places a CAFS (compressed air foam system) into the fuselage of a helicopter or fixed-wing plane. The CAFS then generates high volumes of effective fire-extinguishing and preventive micellar-foam solution at the attack point of the fire itself rather than refilling at a remote base. It accesses ater contained in a helicopter's Bambi Bucket and refills from a fixed wing plane or other water containing reservoir. The foam solution is then packaged into balloons, made of fire retardant and bio-friendly material, that are accurately and rapidly dropped upon the target fire. ‘The Invention” therefore utilizes and adapts currently available equipment, personnel, and fire-fighting technology to allow a simple, rapid, effective and drastically cost-saving means of extinguishing open fires.

    Abstract: An automatic fire extinguisher that is self-activated in the presence of specified temperature. The fire extinguisher includes a sealed pressure vessel having a fitting and a tube permitting access to the contents of the pressure vessel. Once the temperature sensor softens or melts, the contents of the pressure vessel are released through the valve thereby extinguishing the fire.     Abstract: A mechanism for reducing the vertical cross-talk interference experienced in signal lines due to the inductive affects from signal lines in other signal planes of a multi-layer ceramic package is provided. With the apparatus and method, one or more vias in the multi-layer ceramic package may be removed from the structure to provide area through which an offset of the signal lines may pass. Because these offsets of the signal lines exist in parallel planes above or below each other, with no ground lines existing directly between these signal line offsets, a capacitive cross-talk is introduced into the signal lines. This capacitive cross-talk is opposite in polarity to the inductive cross-talk already experienced by the signal lines. As a result, the capacitive cross-talk tends to negate or reduce the inductive cross-talk thereby reducing the far end noise in the signal line.
