Abstract: A connector has a male housing (10) with a hood (12) and a female housing (20) that can be telescoped into the hood (12). The female housing (20) has an elastic hold-down piece (38) that elastically contacts the male housing (10) at an angle to a direction in which the housings (10; 20) are telescoped together. An elastic pressing force of the elastic hold-down piece (38) prevents housings (10) and (20) from shaking at an angle to the fit-in direction. The elastic hold-down piece (38) is made of the synthetic resin and has a small elastic deformation amount. Thus, the elastic hold-down piece (38) has a higher effect than an elastic hold-down piece made of rubber in preventing shaking.

Abstract: A personal watercraft can have a steering nozzle pivoting in accordance with the operation of a steering handle unit to change the traveling direction of a vehicle body. A steering position sensor can be configured to detect the steering angle of the steering handle unit. An actuator can be arranged to pivot the steering nozzle to change the steered angle thereof. A running speed sensor can be configured to detect the running speed of the vehicle body, and a control device. The control device can determine an operational amount of the actuator and control the actuator based upon the detection amount of the steering position sensor, the running speed sensor, and a steering ratio preset with reference to the steering angle and the running speed. The steering ratio is set to be smaller as the running speed becomes larger.

Abstract: A propeller for a boat includes a propeller shaft having a shaft hole, a shaft sleeve mounted in the shaft hole of the propeller shaft and provided with a metal core with a through hole for insertion of a driving shaft of the boat, and a shock-absorbing member covering an outer surface of the metal and having an outer surface contacted with an inner surface of the propeller shaft that surrounds the shaft hole; and a lock unit mounted on the driving shaft for fixing the driving shaft in the through hole of the shaft sleeve, so that the propeller is rotatable by the driving shaft. When the propeller bumps hard things during rotation to result in vibration to the propeller, the shock-absorbing member can absorb the vibration so as to protect the driving shaft from damage.

Abstract: The out board motor and stern drive motor have been around for over 100 years using the same concept, the only change has been in the performance and the physical design, (there still very limited in use). Just by the very simple rotation 360 degrees and flexibility movements horizontal or vertical of the out board motor or stern drive motor, the operator will no longer get caught with in its own wake when turning sharp and the operator now can have a much safer ride and a more exciting ride, docking your boat will be ever so easily since the out board motor or stern drive motor can now rotate 360 degrees so your turning radius is no long a factor because you can turn 360 degrees safely at any given time, and with the built in safety censors you also have the advance protection to prevent accidents.

Abstract: A combined riser, offloading and mooring system is provided for the offloading of hydrocarbons from a floating production vessel (FPV), onto a tanker. The system preferably includes an offloading buoy tethered to the mudline by at least one mooring line. The offloading buoy and the mooring line can be part of an offloading buoy system for supporting a production riser and fluid jumper lines. Additionally, the offloading buoy system can support an offloading jumper line from the FPV to a fluid connector on the offloading buoy system through which hydrocarbon fluid is loaded via an offloading hose onto a tanker. The combined riser, offloading and mooring system also preferably includes at least one set of FPV mooring lines for securing the floating production vessel to the offloading buoy system. The system further preferably includes a hawser line for connecting the tanker to the offloading buoy system. In this manner, the number of mooring lines for the floating production vessel may be reduced.
