  • Publication number: 20080196198
Abstract: A carpet and floor vacuum device with an improved suction head is provided comprising a curved, fluorinated molding mounted on a vacuum cleaner head. The suction head is designed to move along the surface of the carpet, rather than penetrating into the carpet itself. The polymer molding defines a plurality of inlet perforations laterally-spaced along the curved surface, and the perforations are connected to an air-fed manifold. Following application of cleaning fluid to the carpet or floor, air is fed from the manifold into the carpet or onto the floor. Material including Ingested air, debris and spent liquid, are then removed from the carpet or from the floor and then returned to the perforations from the manifold. This material is then removed to a conventional vacuum collector, thereby drying out the carpet or floor. Use of a curved, fluorinated surface provides a smooth movement along the carpet surface without severely abrading the carpet fibers.

Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, there are provided two cinch-n-lift magnetic water heater handles. Each cinch-n-lift magnetic lifting handle consists of a handle base plate, magnetic material, one handle and, two strap loops. Each handle base plate and handle is formed to mirror the radius of a cylinder before assembly. The magnetic lifting handles are to be used with a strapping apparatus, because the magnets on the back are only for holding the handles to the tank, so the hands are free for strapping purposes. Simply apply the handles to the tank at a desired height and radius, then thread a strapping apparatus through the strap loops of the handles encompassing the tank and secure cinch-n-lift tight with a strapping apparatus. At that point the user has a secure set of handles to grasp and then can use proper lifting techniques for lifting and controlling a work load.

Abstract: A shoelace reel includes a support seat, a spool rotatably mounted in the support seat, a shoelace having two distal ends each secured to the winding zone of the spool, a limit sleeve mounted on the support seat, a drive member rotatably and movably mounted in the limit sleeve, and a control knob rotatably and movably mounted on the limit sleeve and connected to the drive member. Thus, the user only needs to rotate the control knob to tighten the shoelace and to pull out the control knob to loosen the shoelace. In addition, the user only needs to operate the control knob to tighten or loosen the shoelace, so that the user can tighten or loosen the shoelace by his one hand only.

Abstract: The objective of this invention is to provide a transfer mask that is able to accurately pass micro-balls onto terminal areas on a substrate. A thin plate transfer mask 200 is arranged facing a substrate 100, and possesses a plurality of through-holes 242 for the purpose of passing micro-balls (solder balls) onto a plurality of terminal areas 108 formed on one surface of a substrate 100. Slits 230, 232, 234, 236 formed in the surface of the transfer mask 200 extending in the length direction and the width direction of the transfer mask 200, inside the substrate edge P1 and outside the area in which the plurality of through-holes 242 is formed when it is facing the substrate 100.

Abstract: A manufacturing method of a dielectric device includes steps described below. (1) Mixing step: Powders serving as a matrix and additive powders for sintering the matrix are mixed. (2) Mixture heat-treating step: The mixture of the matrix and the additive that has been subject to the mixing step is heat-treated. (3) Deposition layer formation step: The material powders obtained through the mixture heat-treating step are injected toward a substrate so as to form a deposition layer on the substrate. (4) Deposition layer heat-treating step: The deposition layer formed on the substrate through the deposition layer formation step is heat-treated so as to form the dielectric layer on the substrate.

Abstract: There is disclosed a tool for extracting an anti-tamper ring (24) from a valve assembly (16). The tool has four claws (50) spaced about the anti-tamper ring and each claw has leading and trailing claw tips (54, 56). An actuating mechanism moveably supports the claws for movement from a first position through a third position. In the first position the claws are adapted to have at least one claw tip resting on the anti-tamper ring. In the second position the claws are adapted to have the claw tips moved readily inwards towards the axis of the valve assembly and vertically upward relative to the first position so as to engage and lift the anti-tamper ring from the valve assembly. In the third position, the claws have the claw tips moved radially outward relative to the second position to release the anti-tamper ring from the claws.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a tool for stretching the foil (2) of a foil carrier (1), the foil being connected to a frame (3), which tool comprises a circular inner body (6) and a circular outer body (7), the foil being stretched by supporting the frame with at least one body and moving one body with respect to the other body in axial direction, the inner body extending in the outer body, wherein coupling means (10) are provided, which couples during a rotational movement from one body in relation to the other, and which converts this rotational movement into the required axial movement stretching the foil (2). The invention furthermore also relates to a machine and a method for removing dies from a foil carrier.

Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the manufacture of a part penetrated by fluid channels or ducts for the manufacture of a mold that includes channels or ducts for the circulation and/or transfer of a fluid from the molding portion to the non-molding portion and vice versa. The part is formed and manufactured by a Stratoconception (TM) method based on the principle of decomposing the part, via a set of inter-stratum planes, into a succession of strata. After assembly, the part is formed, and channels are provided in the various inter-stratum planes for allowing a fluid to pass through the part. The invention also relates to the parts obtained by the process.
