Abstract: A disposable, dispensable oral hygiene applicator attachable to the ball of the user's fingertip whose finger then functions as a tactile-sensitive, articulated handle by which the applicator may be inserted in the oral cavity and applied omnidirectionally to the teeth, the interproximal areas and the gingival tissues, to clean the teeth and massage the gums. The applicator includes a circular flexible base dimensioned to cover the round ball of the fingertip, the underside of the base having a layer of pressure-sensitive adhesive. Projecting upwardly therefrom is an array of soft, flexible, cut, end-rounded bristles, arranged individually or as tufts, that form a miniature circular brush, its crowned face forming a significantly improved surface for better interproximal access, and a charge of dentifrice is adhered to the bristles. The applicator to be used is peeled and lifted from the aluminum foil backing of the supply package.

The sectoral reduction gear rotates in a reciprocating manner in a predetermined angle range on the basis of a forward rotation and a reverse rotation of the motor portion. An outer periphery of the sectoral reduction gear defines an imaginary circle. An inner region of the imaginary circle has an operating range in which the sectoral reduction gear, which rotates in a reciprocating manner, passes, and a non-operating range, in which the sectoral reduction gear does not pass. As seen from an axial direction of an output shaft, a part or the whole of the output shaft is arranged in the non-operating range.

Abstract: A combination wringer/bucket system uses a wringer consisting of a wringer basket and pressure plate, specifically configured to be mounted on the rim of the bucket, which itself is specially adapted to receive and support a separable, columnar wringer basket support member. This member extends between the floor of the bucket and the basket and provides stability to the bucket mounted wringer. The support member can be removed from the bucket, as can the wringer, so that the bucket can be used alone, if desired. For providing additional stability to the wringer, leg components extend from the pressure plate, through the wringer basket. A cam operated system smoothly controls the movement of the pressure plate within the wringer, to efficiently and effectively wring out saturated mops.

The aft cross beam includes a rear flange that serves as a flexible “hinge” for the seat back structure. The seat can leverage producible and relatively inexpensive composite manufacturing techniques such that the seat can be economically produced for use as an economy class seat.

Abstract: A process for producing an object having at least two component parts (3, 4) which can move relative to one another is proposed. This involves preparing geometrical data of the entire object for a rapid prototyping process, with a predetermined minimum spacing between the moving parts being taken into consideration. According to the predetermined geometrical data, a first material as support material and a second material as material for the component parts are applied in layers, the support material filling gaps including those constituting the minimum spacing between the respective material for the component parts. Following completion of the layered construction, the support material is removed.

Abstract: A fastener assembly is configured for use in an associated fastener driving tool for driving a fastener from the assembly into an associated substrate. The assembly includes a row of fasteners, each having a shank, arranged substantially parallel to each other. A collation system is formed from a plastic material that is molded onto and adhered to the fasteners. The plastic material is molded to define a collar portion substantially encircling the fastener shank and a connecting portion extending between and connecting adjacent collar potions. The plastic material is formulated from an adhesive polymer. When the fastener is driven from the driving tool, the collar portion remains adhered to the fastener such that the collar portion penetrates the substrate with the fastener.

Each of the first laminations is provided with at least one fastener projecting from a first surface thereof and defining a recess in its opposite side. Each fastener of one lamination is arranged to fit into a recess of an adjacent lamination. The article presents second laminations interposed between at least two adjacent first laminations fixed together. The second laminations are provided with through apertures which are traversed by the fasteners which fix the adjacent first laminations together. The method consists of die-cutting a plurality of laminations from a metal sheet, rotating the die-cut laminations and superposing them, to then fix them together in predetermined manner.

Abstract: A piezoceramic composition has a nominal empirical formula of Pb1-aREbAEc[ZrxTiy(FefWw)z]O3. RE is a rare earth metal with a fraction b and AE is an alkaline earth metal with a fraction c. Iron is present with an iron fraction f·z, and tungsten with a tungsten fraction w·z. In addition, the following relationships apply: a<1; 0=b=0.15; 0=c=0.5; f>0; w>0; 0.1=f/w=5; x>0; y>0; z>0 and x+y+z=1. A method of producing a piezoceramic material using the piezoceramic composition has the steps: a) provision of a green ceramic body with the piezoceramic composition, and b) heat treatment of the green body, a piezoceramic of the piezoceramic material being produced from the piezoceramic composition. The heat treatment encompasses calcining and/or sintering. The piezoceramic composition undergoes compaction at below 1000° C.
