  • Patent number: 7511209
Abstract: A structure of a base drum counter-hoop mounted clamp is provided for attaching a small-sized music instrument to a counter hoop of a base drum. A clamp body is shaped to have upper and lower locking platforms that are substantially parallel and connected by a vertical plate, which has a side surface from which a pivot seat projects to pivotally couple a connection member. Opposite ends of the connection member are respectively coupled to a V-shaped clip body and a threaded bolt bar. With the threaded bolt bar being tightened and driven downward, the clip body is upward pushed against and secured to the counter hoop of the base drum. A holder formed atop the upper platform receives and fixes a support bar that supports an additional music instrument thereto.

  • Patent number: 7511210
Abstract: A drum gauge is disclosed that provides a measurement of the length of the tension rods. In operation the gauge is compressed, placed around each tension rod and released. A display on the gauge provides a numerical value for the relative exposed length of the tension rod(s). The gauge is then moved to each tension rod to determine the length of each rod or the gap or space between the hoops or between the hoop and the lug casings. A nut on the end of each tension rod is adjusted until all the tension rods are adjusted to the same length. The gauge allows the head to be evenly adjusted so the same pitch exists in all locations on the drum head. The gauge has a lip to ensure it is placed consistently on each tension rod and further includes posts to allow the gauge to be used with drums made with different tension rods, counter hoops, claws and lug casings.

  • Patent number: 7511211
Abstract: Methods of attaching a drum head to a drum body. Lug assemblies may include a lug body having a recess and a seating surface; an elongate link having a proximate end disposed near the drum head and a distal end disposed away from the drum head. A stop assembly is adjustably coupled to the link. The stop assembly constrains the link distal end from movement toward the drum head when the stop assembly engages the link and bears against the seating surface. Engagement surfaces constrain rotation of the stop assembly and thereby allow the stop assembly to be loosened, i.e., moved toward the link distal end, when the stop assembly is too shallowly disposed on the link. The stop assembly may be inserted into the recess from a direction that is generally tangential to a periphery of the drum body.

  • Patent number: 7511212
Abstract: A musical instrument stand assembly with a foldable pedal includes a main stand body, and the main stand body includes a main rod, and the bottom of the main rod includes two support rods each with a recession, and the recession includes a first circular serration; two side frames, and a sidewall of each side frame includes a protrusion and a second circular serration at the protrusion, and each side frame is installed by engaging each protrusion with the recession of each support rod, such that the first and second circular serrations are engaged with each other. With the design of rotably engaging the two side frames and the two support rods, the main stand body of the musical instrument has the function of adjusting its inclination with respect to a vertical position, and the effect of conveniently folding the pedal of the musical instrument.

  • Patent number: 7511214
Abstract: A CPU 21 sequentially changes over plural music pieces and reproduces the same by a program processing. Upon the changeover of the music piece, the volume of the tone signal that is being generated at each tone generating channel in a tone generating circuit 14 is gradually decreased, whereby the tone signal is finally faded out. The volume decreasing speed in this case is such that the higher the priority order of the performance data is, the slower the speed is. The generation of a tone signal based upon performance data of next music piece data is assigned one after another from a tone generating channel wherein a fade-out has been completed. The volume of the assigned tone signal is controlled so as to gradually increased, whereby the tone signal is faded in. In this case, the assignment of the generation of the tone signal based upon the performance data of the next music piece is made earlier, as the order of priority of the performance data is higher.

  • Patent number: 7511232
Abstract: The present invention is characterized by a structure having a substrate 1, and metallization layers 2 formed on the substrate 1, on which a Sn solder film 3 and an Ag film 4 are formed. The Ag film 4 is a metal free from oxidization at room temperature in the atmosphere. In a wet process, since only an exposed side of the Sn solder film 3 is oxidized by the cell reaction of Ag and Sn, an upper surface of the Ag film 4 on the solder film, which would otherwise affect the connection, is not oxidized. Since the Ag film 4 melts into the Sn solder simultaneously with melting of the Sn solder film 3, the Ag film 4 does not hinder the connection.

Abstract: An automated waste scaling system and method of weighing and documenting waste data is disclosed. A waste container box is rolled onto an approach ramp of a scaling pod to place each box caster wheel on a weighing area plate. A shear beam load cell beneath each weighing area plate provides a weight reading to a summing box, which combines weight readings to provide total weight. Total weight and other data, such as date and time of weight measurement, can be sent either by hard wiring or wireless technology to a display, printing, or electronic or digital storage device. Overload stops or check rods prevent load cells from being overloaded by weight in excess of load cell capacity. In a three-point scaling system, weight from two box rear wheel casters resting on weighing area plates and a box guide rail resting on a compression pad is combined for total weight.

  • Patent number: 7511247
Abstract: A method for controlling the shape of the area machined by a pulse of laser light on a surface, such that the shape has a desired elliptical shape with its major axis aligned in a desired direction and the length of this major axis is less than or equal to a diameter of a beam spot. The pulse is generated and focused to the beam spot within a target area. The polarization of the pulse is adjusted to be elliptically polarized with an axis of the polarization ellipse oriented in the desired direction. The ellipticity of the polarization of the pulse is adjusted such that the pulse of laser light has contours of constant machining capacity on the workpiece surface, which have a similar shape to the desired shape. The fluence of the pulse light is controlled such that the area machined by the pulse is substantially the desired shape.

Abstract: A fire control system for a boost phase threat missile includes sensors for generating target-missile representative signals, and a multi-hypothesis track filter, which estimates the states of various target hypotheses. The estimated states are typed to generate hypotheses and their likelihoods. The states, hypotheses and likelihoods are applied to a multihypothesis track filter, and the resulting propagated states are applied to an engagement planner, together with the hypotheses and likelihoods. The engagement planner initializes the interceptor(s). Interceptor guidance uses the initialization and the propagated states and typing information to command the interceptor.

  • Patent number: 7511255
Abstract: A spectrophotometer, in which an emission spectrum of the light source is measured. Based on the measured emission spectrum, a threshold is set to allow only an outstanding spectral intensity in a specific wavelength region to be greater than the threshold. Then, a ratio between the setup threshold and a peak spectral intensity in the specific wavelength region greater than the threshold is calculated. Then, an electric-charge accumulation time for a light-receiving element corresponding to a wavelength region equal to or less than the threshold is set at an upper limit of electric-charge accumulation time causing no saturation in any light-receiving element. Based on the ratio between the threshold and the peak spectral intensity in the specific wavelength region greater than the threshold, an electric-charge accumulation time for the light-receiving element corresponding to the specific wavelength region greater than the threshold is set.
