Abstract: Molded body armor panels conformed to fit individual torsos based upon gender or, in custom applications, individual features of a particular male or female torso. The individual body panels are constructed of multiple layers of twill or other unconventional long float woven ballistic fibers with each layer impregnated with a curable adhesive. Additional reinforcement may be supplied in appropriate areas, such as breasts, spine, sternum and edges. The multiple impregnated layers of fabric are placed within a mold conforming to the particular torso contour desired. The long floats of the fabric allows the layers to stretch or compress as required to the particular shape desired. The adhesive is cured in the mold under low heat and low pressure, binding the layers of fabric together, as well as binding the conformed yarns of each individual layer in permanent contour. Interior and exterior coverings for comfort and appearance may be supplied.

In particular, the disclosed exercise mat has a generally rectangular main body, the main body being bounded by a first end, a second end, a first side, and a second side, the second end being disposed opposite the first end, the second side being disposed opposite to the first side. The exercise mat has a first handle assembly attached to the main body along the first side of the main body; and a second handle assembly attached to the main body along the second side of the main body. The exercise mat provides a generally planar configuration when used during exercise and a substantially collapsed configuration when the ends are folded over the center region and the mat is lifted by the handles such that material deposited in the center region of the mat is substantially retained therein.

Abstract: A cleaning system that utilizes an organic cleaning solvent and pressurized fluid solvent is disclosed. The system has no conventional evaporative hot air drying cycle. Instead, the system utilizes the solubility of the organic solvent in pressurized fluid solvent as well as the physical properties of pressurized fluid solvent. After an organic solvent cleaning cycle, the solvent is extracted from the textiles at high speed in a rotating drum in the same way conventional solvents are extracted from textiles in conventional evaporative hot air dry cleaning machines. Instead of proceeding to a conventional drying cycle, the extracted textiles are then immersed in pressurized fluid solvent to extract the residual organic solvent from the textiles. This is possible because the organic solvent is soluble in pressurized fluid solvent. After the textiles are immersed in pressurized fluid solvent, pressurized fluid solvent is pumped from the drum.

Abstract: A controlling method of a washing machine is disclosed. A controlling method of a washing machine includes spinning to rotate a drum at a first speed to dehydrate the laundry, water draining to drain water from the drum, water supplying to supply water to a tub, while rotating the drum at a second speed for the laundry to be closely in contact with an inner circumferential surface of the drum, and penetration rinsing while rotating the drum at the second speed or at a third speed to rinse the laundry. According to the controlling method, a time taken to perform a rinsing cycle may be reduced. Furthermore, rinsing efficiency may be improved together with the reduced time of the rinsing cycle.

Abstract: A series of interconnectable foam-block ramps and platforms are provided that are cut from low density EPS foam but coated with durable exterior polyurea coating, and that include optional hard surfaces, and edge-and-corner treatments, and railing with hand grips. The components resist deformation and withstand extreme weather conditions, but are surprisingly lightweight and include integral hook connectors that securely engage. They can be easily assembled/installed to form a handicap ramp and/or arranged to form novel “terrains” for wheeled devices and/or arranged to form stages and platforms. The components are sufficiently durable to support high-stress wheeled devices such as a wheelchairs, trick bikes, skateboards, in-line skates and the like. A variety of optional components include a curb-simulating element, intersection-forming platforms, X-intersection connectors, double-decker platforms, steps, and railings.

Abstract: A manually operated ramp assembly includes a ramp platform and a drive assembly. The ramp platform is moveable between a stowed position and a deployed position, and the drive assembly is coupled to and affords movement of the ramp platform. A shaft extends away from the drive assembly and defines a shaft axis. The shaft is coupled to the drive assembly to cause movement of the ramp platform between the stowed position and the deployed position in response to rotation of the shaft about the shaft axis. A handle is disposed at a distal end of the shaft for manual rotation of the shaft about the shaft axis. A biasing member biases the ramp platform toward the stowed position.

Abstract: A swimming pool cleaning device is disclosed herein. The device includes a vehicle having a body shell and an interior and at least one intake port located on the body shell. The vehicle includes at least one water outlet port also located on the outer shell. The vehicle includes a drive mechanism which in different embodiments includes pairs of wheels and/or rollers or a combination of wheels and rollers for moving the vehicle along the pool surface. In one embodiment, the intake ports are located in close proximity to the drive mechanism. This assures the intakes of being consistently close to the pools surface as the vehicle moves. In another embodiment, the vehicle has a concaved bottom. The concaved bottom points towards the interior. In this embodiments the intakes can be located slightly farther away from ends of the vehicle as a result of the curvature of the bottom while maintaining sufficient sucking power to clean the pool water.

Abstract: A rotatable scrub brush having particular application for removing dried residue from a bucket or similar container. The scrub brush includes a shaft, one end of which can be coupled to a conventional drill. The opposite end of the shaft is connected to a hollow bulb having cleaning bristles projecting outwardly therefrom. Openings through the bottom of the hollow bulb communicate with respective water inlet ducts. When the bulb is dipped in water standing in the bucket to be cleaned, the water will flow upwardly through the inlet ducts to be collected inside the bulb. A rotational force generated by the drill is imparted to the bulb by way of the shaft to cause the bulb to spin at high speed. As the spinning bulb is lifted out of the standing water and moved along the sides of the bucket, the water collected at the interior of the bulb will be expelled therefrom through outlet ports in order to moisten the cleaning bristles and the residue on the bucket to be removed by the bristles.
