Abstract: Molded body armor panels conformed to fit individual torsos based upon gender or, in custom applications, individual features of a particular male or female torso. The individual body panels are constructed of multiple layers of twill or other unconventional long float woven ballistic fibers with each layer impregnated with a curable adhesive. Additional reinforcement may be supplied in appropriate areas, such as breasts, spine, sternum and edges. The multiple impregnated layers of fabric are placed within a mold conforming to the particular torso contour desired. The long floats of the fabric allows the layers to stretch or compress as required to the particular shape desired. The adhesive is cured in the mold under low heat and low pressure, binding the layers of fabric together, as well as binding the conformed yarns of each individual layer in permanent contour. Interior and exterior coverings for comfort and appearance may be supplied.

The neck opening comprises an area of reduced thickness that is folded to form a soft flexible edge. The neck opening is made by forming a channel of reduced thickness in a piece of material to surround the neck opening in the wetsuit, and folding the material along a centerline of the channel to form the soft flexible edge.

Abstract: The invention disclosed herein relates to improved elastomeric articles and processes for making the elastomeric articles. In particular, the invention relates to the surface modification of elastomeric articles such as industrial, surgical, and examination gloves that provides for improved consistency with respect to surface tack on a single article, between different articles from a single production batch, and between articles from separate production batches. The surface modification treatment comprises application of an aqueous mixture of silicone emulsion and ammonium salts of alkyl phosphates to the surfaces of elastomeric articles.

The protective covering provides impact resistance and is designed to remain securely in place and protective of the object even when the contour of the object changes.

Abstract: A protective garment including an outer shell and an inner liner coupled to the outer shell and positioned such that the inner liner is positioned between a wearer and the outer shell when the garment is worn. The inner liner includes a base material and a high lubricity material which has a higher lubricity than the base material. The high lubricity material is woven into the base material to form a plurality of discrete contact areas in which a plurality of filaments of the high lubricity material are immediately adjacent to each other.

Abstract: In at least one embodiment of the present invention, a material intended for personal protective equipment is disclosed, wherein the material includes at least four different layers, the layers being: an outer first layer of a material comprising at least one polymer, which material is self-extinguishing; a second layer of a fiber material, which fiber material is self-extinguishing; a third layer being adhesive; and an inner fourth layer being a barrier laminate; wherein all at least four different layers individually are attached to layers located next to them. Furthermore, a protective suit including a material according to the present invention and the use of such a material for the production of personal protective equipment are also described.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to protective toilet seat covers, and particularly, but not by way of limitation, to a toilet seat cover providing sanitary protection having a portion to overhang a side of a toilet and a forward bowl flap to hang down along the forward inside portion of a toilet bowl. A toilet seat cover made of a paper material is oversized to cover a toilet seat. Adhesive material may also be placed on the bottom of the toilet seat cover to prevent slipping on a toilet seat. A rear flap folds to contact a portion of the upper surface of the seat cover thereby forming a pocket. An edge of the rear flap may be provided an adhesive. The pocket may contain toiletries, such as personal wipes. The toilet seat cover may be folded and packaged with a disinfectant wipe, providing a convenient kit package for carrying and use.

There is a mounting at the bottom of a toilet tank that links to an outlet hole from the tank and forms a valve seat. The guide support structure also has a tapered leg.

Each panel includes a fold-in tab that functions to provide a rim. The spa insert may include a false bottom such that in-floor features like sump pumps, jets and/or anti-entrapment systems may be installed.

Abstract: The bed with automatic mattress lifting system is a bed with a frame and an internal drive system for raising a mattress above the frame, allowing the user to easily change the sheets or other bed coverings. The mattress rests on a mattress supporting platform, which, in the lowered position, is received within the frame. In operation, driven motion of an internal rod caused by a drive system located within the frame generates rotation in a lever arm. The lever arm is secured to a shaft that extends across the frame, and rotation of the shaft causes a pair of supports to rotate. Upper ends of the supports are joined to a lower surface of the mattress supporting platform, thus driving upward movement of the mattress supporting platform. The sheets cover both the mattress and the platform, allowing the sheets to be changed without having to manually lift the mattress.

Abstract: A cleaning system that utilizes an organic cleaning solvent and pressurized fluid solvent is disclosed. The system has no conventional evaporative hot air drying cycle. Instead, the system utilizes the solubility of the organic solvent in pressurized fluid solvent as well as the physical properties of pressurized fluid solvent. After an organic solvent cleaning cycle, the solvent is extracted from the textiles at high speed in a rotating drum in the same way conventional solvents are extracted from textiles in conventional evaporative hot air dry cleaning machines. Instead of proceeding to a conventional drying cycle, the extracted textiles are then immersed in pressurized fluid solvent to extract the residual organic solvent from the textiles. This is possible because the organic solvent is soluble in pressurized fluid solvent. After the textiles are immersed in pressurized fluid solvent, pressurized fluid solvent is pumped from the drum.

Abstract: A rotatable scrub brush having particular application for removing dried residue from a bucket or similar container. The scrub brush includes a shaft, one end of which can be coupled to a conventional drill. The opposite end of the shaft is connected to a hollow bulb having cleaning bristles projecting outwardly therefrom. Openings through the bottom of the hollow bulb communicate with respective water inlet ducts. When the bulb is dipped in water standing in the bucket to be cleaned, the water will flow upwardly through the inlet ducts to be collected inside the bulb. A rotational force generated by the drill is imparted to the bulb by way of the shaft to cause the bulb to spin at high speed. As the spinning bulb is lifted out of the standing water and moved along the sides of the bucket, the water collected at the interior of the bulb will be expelled therefrom through outlet ports in order to moisten the cleaning bristles and the residue on the bucket to be removed by the bristles.
