  • Publication number: 20100096922
Abstract: A power supply system and a power supply-side control unit and an electric vehicle are described. The power supply device comprises a plurality of power storage devices connected in parallel. When the temperature of any power storage device is higher than the predetermined temperature TH, the power supply-side control unit 211 performs the duty ratio control for the power storage devices. Also, the power supply-side control unit 211 transmits a temperature control notification signal indicative of the current temperature control condition to a load-side control unit 221, which in turn controls the electric power that is consumed or generated by the load 220 on the basis of the temperature control notification signal. The life of the power supply device as a whole is therefore prevented from shortening by inhibiting the temperature rise and temperature variation in each power storage device. It is also possible to prevent the power supply system from halting due to occurrence of an error.

Abstract: Power is supplied to an information handling system chipset with a single voltage regulator having dual phases. A first phase of the voltage regulator provides power to a low power state power rail in an independent mode to support a low power state, such as a suspend or hibernate state. A second phase of the voltage regulator provides power to a run power state power rail in combination with the first phase by activation of a switch, such as a MOSFET load switch, that connects the low power state power rail and the run power state power rail. Voltage sensed from both power rails is applied to control voltage output so that the run power state power rail is maintained within more precise constraints than the low power state power rail.

Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a switchgear apparatus. More particularly, the invention encompasses an electrical insulation barrier having knock-out features for a switchgear apparatus. The present invention also relates to enclosures for switchgear, panel boards, circuit breakers, and more particularly to an enclosure for low voltage switchgear and switchboard assemblies. The enclosure can be a walk-in type enclosure or a non-walk-in type enclosure. This invention further provides a rear barrier for switchgear vertical (section) bus insulation assembly. The rear barrier is made from a brittle material, such as, for example, a thermoset insulating material, a glass reinforced polyester laminate (GPO-2 or GPO-3) material, and has a plurality of knock-out pass-through-openings for the bus bars and other hardware.
