The partial protective wear includes a body with a periphery edge that defines a palm portion, finger portion, web portion and nail portion. The body includes an attachment side and a protective side. The attachment side releasably attaches the partial protective wear on the front surface of the hand. The palm portion protects the palm of the hand. The finger portion protects the front surface and side surface of the fingers of the hand. The nail portion protects the nail plates and nail grooves of the hand and the web portion protects the webs of the hand.

Abstract: The present invention generally relates to a finger protector embodied in a single article prepared from two fabric sections sewn together for application in sporting activities. Specifically, the finger protector provides a user engaged in the sporting activity with protection by preventing blistering and other skin injury after prolonged gripping of a sporting device such as a golf club, tennis racket or other similar device. The finger protector is prepared from two sections of fabric sewn together, the first fabric section being made of cabretta leather, or other similar fabric, the second fabric section being made of elastic or other similar fabric. The invention also provides the user comfort and an enhanced ability at performing physical tasks in everyday tasks.

The ID card can be removed from the belt if it needs to be washed, or for when the student advances to a new belt. In one embodiment, a hook-and-loop fastener, such as VELCRO, is used to affix the ID card to the belt.

The elongate posts extend downwardly from each of the post holders and pass through and beyond the aligned receptacles. The posts have sufficient length to permit the seat to be elevated above the bowl flange to the over center maintenance position to provide adequate space for easy maintenance.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a urinal with a conductivity sensor, which includes the conductivity sensor arranged at the location where a reservoir of the urinal is curved and adapted to detect urine, a control unit (MCU), a power battery, and an electromagnetic valve adapted to control a discharge of water, wherein the conductivity sensor is adapted to detect a conductivity to determine whether urine is present. After the conductivity sensor detects presence of urine, the control unit opens the electromagnetic valve. The conductivity sensor includes electrodes dipped inside the location where the reservoir is curved to contact urine. The conductivity sensor further includes an anti-polarization-of-electrode circuit based upon the principle of an alternating power supply. Thus, the sensor can achieve more reliable sensing and a longer lifetime.

A removable discharge passageway is sealingly coupled at a first end to the toilet waste outlet and at a second end to a floor flange, and defines a trapway for providing a water seal therebetween. In one example, the water seal includes a water column, and the discharge passageway is configured to maintain at least about 80% of the water column therein when the toilet is pivoted about 10 degrees. In another example, an upleg extends vertically upward a distance sufficient to maintain a minimum water column within the upleg necessary to maintain the water seal between the bowl and the floor flange when the toilet is pivoted about 10 degrees. In another example, a support bracket maintains the second end of the discharge passageway generally fixed relative to the first end.

Abstract: A swimming pool skimmer formed to include an integral disinfectant dispenser. The disinfectant dispenser is adapted to enable infinite adjustment to the level of disinfectant dispensed into the normal flow of the pool water. The skimmer includes a valve that is used to adjust the flow of water distributed to the disinfectant dispenser. The flow rate of water entering the dispensing chamber is controlled by the valve, which controls the water level within the dispensing chamber. The amount of water exiting the dispensing chamber is controlled by a vertically extending elongated flow slit. The higher the water level in the dispensing chamber causes more exposure to the chlorine tablets, increasing the chlorine level in the dispensing water. Chlorinated water exits the flow slit and enters the skimmer main chamber.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method and apparatus for dampening waves preferably comprising a wave pool having two portions, a first wave forming portion with an inclined section oriented obliquely relative to the travel direction of the waves that causes the waves to begin breaking, and a second wave dampening portion having a relatively deep solid chamber floor and a raised perforated floor above it for dampening the waves after they begin to break. The properties of the raised floor, including its porosity, its depth (relative to the chamber depth), and the characteristics of the waves to be dampened, including the wave height and shape, are taken into account in designing a dampening system that substantially dissipates the waves, which in turn, reduces wave reflections and rip currents that can interfere with the next oncoming waves, and thereby, help to maintain quality surfing waves at high frequencies without increasing pool size.

The cam rotates relative to the follower about a rotating axis, the first spring is compressed to accumulate elastic force, until the line connecting two ends of the first spring is parallel to the rotating axis where the first spring is mostly compressed to accumulate maximum of the elastic force and the hinge mechanism is in an intermediate state. Once the cam is rotated over the intermediate state, the first spring is expanded under previously accumulated elastic force, which drive the cam continuously rotated relative to the follower.
