    Abstract: A watercraft cockpit includes a floor, sidewalls and forward and rearward bulkheads. A frame assembly having four corners supports the cockpit and includes an upper frame and a lower frame that are rotatably connected to one another. A pair of shock-absorbing members is provided at each of the four corners of the frame so that the entire cockpit is isolated from shocks. By cushioning the entire cockpit as a whole, the need for individual shock-absorbing seats is obviated. The walls of the cockpit are spaced apart from the sidewalls of the watercraft and are interconnected to the sidewall of the watercraft by a flexible member so that the sidewalls of the watercraft move up and down in response to shocks independently of the walls of the cockpit.     Abstract: A valve timing adjusting apparatus includes a housing, a vane rotor, and a spiral spring. The spiral spring has a most radially inward part engaged with a rotational shaft of the vane rotor in a state, where the most radially inward part is wound around the rotational shaft. The rotational phase has an intermediate position defined between a full retard position and a full advance position of the rotational phase. The spiral spring has a radially outward segment that is located radially outward of the most radially inward part. When the rotational phase is in a range on a retard side of the intermediate position or on an advance side of the intermediate position, the radially outward segment is engaged with the stopper such that the spiral spring urges the vane rotor in the advance direction or in the retard direction relative to the housing, respectively.

    Abstract: A variable valve timing apparatus includes a stopper piston which has an equalizing passage in an axial direction. Even if the engaging hole is filled with the oil, the equalizing passage enables the oil flows from an engaging hole to a holding hole when the stopper piston enters into the engaging hole. It is possible to form a vane as narrow as possible, and to enlarge a variable angular range. In addition, the stopper piston has both end faces which are substantially identical in surface area. Even if pulsation arises in oil pressure, pressures acting on both end faces of the stopper piston can be substantially cancelled and position of the stopper piston can be stabilized.

The dry sump lubrication system may have a fresh air tube coupled to the oil reservoir. The oil reservoir may be insulated to retain energy in the oil during short shutdown periods.     Abstract: Disclosed is a method and corresponding fuel injector for injecting gaseous and liquid fuel into an engine. The method comprises delivering a liquid fuel to a fuel injector, delivering a pressurized gaseous fuel to the fuel injector, entraining the liquid fuel within the gaseous fuel within a chamber of the fuel injector and injecting the gaseous fuel and atomized liquid fuel into the combustion chamber. The liquid fuel can be passed through and dispensed from a needle into a chamber in the injector nozzle where it is entrained in the gaseous fuel during an injection event. The liquid/gas mass ratio is controlled by the needle movement, hydraulic resistances or electronic valves so that the majority of the liquid is injected during the first part of the gas injection. The injector can be used for late cycle direct injection of natural gas, or any number of gaseous fuel blends combined with many liquid fuels such as diesel, biodiesel and DME.
