The vest is contoured to the shape of a person's body, limiting the jostling of the vest and integrally attached bag as the person moves. One advantageous feature of the convertible bag is that its size can adapt to the desired contents: the upper portion of the bag acts either as a flap for the lower portion, or as a vertical extension of the lower portion when the bag contents are more voluminous. Further, the vest portion sits high on the chest of the person wearing the vest. This increases comfort to the person by distributing the weight better, and reduces sweating, particularly during physical activity such as riding a bicycle.

Abstract: A sitting and reclining cushion is divided into a seat cushion and a back cushion, which are configured in an essentially identical manner. A sleeve consisting of a textile material with low elasticity contains a plurality of tubular pockets consisting of an identical material and joined longitudinally to said sleeve by means of seams. Each pocket is likewise connected to its neighbour or neighbours by means of seams. Each pocket contains a pouch, which consists of an elastic plastic and comprises a valve, and can be filled with compressed air. As a result, the pockets modify their shape, thus tensioning the sleeve and forming the actual sitting or reclining surface. The optimised shape of the cushion structure can be adapted to individual requirements for comfort by means of different air pressures in the pouches.

Abstract: A portable baby changing station fabricated from a soft, flexible material such as vinyl or nylon for changing diapers in automobiles. It is primarily designed to be used in the hatch back section of an SUV, minivan or station wagon. However, it can also be used in a sedan. When fully extended, it provides a soft surface to rest a baby while changing a diaper. In this mode, the head end is affixed to the rear portion of the back seat by a fastener such as Velcro. One or more netted pockets are positioned at the head end to hold diapers and changing supplies. Once the baby has a new diaper, the changing station folds up into a compact shape while remaining fastened to the back seat. It is held in the closed position by fasteners such as Velcro or snaps. It is always affixed to the automobile, and always ready to unfold. In a sedan, when not in use, the changing station is compact enough to be placed in the rear seat pocket or under a seat.

Abstract: A cushion or mattress comprising a base and a plurality of linearly aligned individual air cells across the base. Groups of individual air cells can be interconnected and in fluid cooperation with an inflation source, such as a pump. In one aspect of the invention, the inflation of adjacent cells is staggered, for example, in a checkerboard-like inflation pattern that helps diffuse load over a wider area.
