Abstract: The present invention relates to a toothbrush. The invention relates in particular to a toothbrush filament having a filament body surrounding a matrix material in which grains are embedded, wherein the matrix material and the grains have a different resistance to etching so that by etching the matrix material and/or the grains a surface structure can be created on the filament body at least in the area of the tapering end section. According to one aspect of the present invention, grains having a shell structure with a grain shell, in which is encapsulated a grain core comprising a core material different from the shell material, have been embedded in the matrix material of the filament.

Abstract: A windshield wiper system for a vehicle cabin has two drive motors with glass wipers for cleaning a largely rectangular surface area. Two axes of the motors are disposed diagonally in the corner regions of the surface to be wiped. One wiper arm and wiper blades are disposed on these axes, the wiping movement of the wiper blades being guided from a position largely parallel from one side of the surface to be wiped to largely parallel to the other side of the surface to be wiped. The window panes of driver cabins with largely rectangular surface areas can be kept free of dirt at any time under difficult weather conditions over their entire viewing surface so that the operating personnel is given the possibility to view all the activities taking place about the cabin without having to adopt unfavourable positions with respect to their operating equipment.

Abstract: The invention proposes a method and a device for continuously producing a crystallite, wherein a metered amount of seed crystals is fed continuously to the internal solution circuit of a crystallizer, in particular a DTB crystallizer, through a crystallization seed line from a seed generator preferably designed as a flash crystallizer. The amount of seed crystals fed is controlled by an electronic control system as a function of a measured value determined by a sensor, said value being representative of the particle size distribution of the crystallites in the solution in the internal circuit in the crystallizer. By way of a line, the seed generator receives a partial stream of the external solution circuit of the crystallizer, said external circuit being routed through a line. Excess fine crystalline suspension can be fed back to the external circuit from the seed generator by way of a return line.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and to a fastening of a rail on a substrate, with a guide plate for laterally guiding the rail that has a standing surface associated with the substrate, a support element to support the guide plate in the assembly position, a spring element supported on the guide plate and at least one spring arm for exerting a resilient holding force onto the foot of the rail, and a tensioning means for tensioning the spring element. The fastening can be assembled in that the support element has a support lug supported on the substrate in the assembly position to reach under the standing surface of the guide plate in a way that the guide plate is supported on the substrate via the support lug in the region where the guide plate and support lug overlap.

Abstract: A method includes providing a voltage switchable dielectric material having a characteristic voltage, exposing the voltage switchable dielectric material to a source of ions associated with an electrically conductive material, and creating a voltage difference between the source and the voltage switchable dielectric material that is greater than the characteristic voltage. Electrical current is allowed to flow from the voltage switchable dielectric material, and the electrically conductive material is deposited on the voltage switchable dielectric material. A body comprises a voltage switchable dielectric material and a conductive material deposited on the voltage switchable dielectric material using an electrochemical process. In some cases, the conductive material is deposited using electroplating.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing mechanically reinforced plated through-holes (PTH) in PCBs, which advantageously allow improved soldering capabilities and reliability, are described herein. Such systems and methods are achieved by reducing the heat sinking effects of PTHs by providing one or more vias surrounding the PTHs to provide an electrical connection between the PTH and the internal and bottom conductive layers of a PCB. In this regard, the PTHs are spaced apart from at least one of the internal conductive layers (e.g., ground or power layers), so the heat sinking effects are reduced. This feature enables molten solder to substantially fill the entire PTH before freezing, thereby improving the mechanical and electrical connection between an electrical component and the PCB. One or more electrically-nonfunctional lands (or “rib reinforcements”) are provided in internal conductive layers to mechanically support the walls of the PCB.

Abstract: A method for fabricating a carrier board having no conduction line is provided. The fabricating method includes: providing a support plate having a detachable metal layer; providing a plating current via the support plate and the detachable metal layer to plate on the detachable metal layer to in sequence configure an etching resist layer and a plating metal layer; and then gradually completing other circuit layers by a compression laminating process with the support plate providing the plating current. After the entire plating process has been completed, the support plate and the detachable metal layer are removed.

Abstract: A method for forming a wheel bearing apparatus where the end portion of the cylindrical portion is pre-formed as a cylinder prior to its plastic deformation to form the caulking portion. A caulking tool with a punch and a swing shaft abuts against the end portion of the cylinder at a predetermined inclined angle relative to the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder. Teeth on the punch form the face-spline by plastically deforming the end face of the caulking portion. The swing shaft central axis is inclined at an angle relative to a central axis of the wheel hub. The face-spline is formed simultaneously with the formation of the caulking portion by advancing the caulking tool toward the wheel hub. A main shaft is rotated to cause a swing motion of the caulking tool.
