Publication number: 20120030950Abstract: A vibrator motor in a hair clipper has a stationary piece and a moving piece. The stationary piece has a primary leg and at least one secondary leg. The primary leg fits through an opening in a coil. A flange is then press fit onto the leg so that the coil is captured on the primary leg. The flange provides a magnetic pole face that is larger than the opening in the coil, which increases the efficiency of the motor. The flange is press fit in a single operation by pressing a primary prong into a primary socket, and pressing two secondary prongs into secondary sockets. The secondary prongs are guided inwardly as they enter the secondary sockets, which closes the primary socket around the primary prong. A drive arm is secured to an arm of the moving piece. The arm is angled in relation to the drive arm to put even pressure on the moving blade in the hair clipper.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 9, 2010Publication date: February 9, 2012Applicant: WAHL CLIPPER CORPORATIONInventors: Greg A. Publication number: 20120030951Abstract: Disclosed are shears are used for trimming bushes, trees, and brush. The loppers have the cutting blade which performs the cutting action and a counter edge for the cutting blade to work in conjunction. These loppers also have the addition of clamping jaws which will hold the severed limb. A user amputates a tree limb and the severed or orphaned limb falls helplessly to the ground, but these loppers clamp onto that limb when the cutting operation is performed. After the cut is made, the user can move the limb to a specific location, then decompresses the loppers and drop the limb as intended.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 26, 2011Publication date: February 9, 2012Inventors: Robert Seloff, Brian Scates, Joe Williams

Publication number: 20120030991Abstract: A floating fishing lure includes a buoyant body having an upper portion projecting above the water surface and a lower portion projecting below the water surface. The upper portion supports the inner end of one or more elongated flexible elements or spring wires which project upwardly and radially outwardly in the air above the water surface. A bait including a fish hook is connected to the outer end portion of each flexible wire by a leader line and is supported adjacent the water surface when the body is floating. When the body supports a plurality of flexible elements or spring wires and corresponding baits, the wires are uniformly spaced around the body and extend in radial directions from the body. The floating body and each spring wire cooperate to produce a dancing effect of each bait on the water surface.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 6, 2010Publication date: February 9, 2012Inventor: Philip N. Publication number: 20120030993Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for processing grease trap waste to produce brown grease oil. Heat to promote waste grease stratification is provided by combustion of brown grease itself. A portion of the brown grease, which would normally be transported to an end user, is retained in a separate holding vessel at the grease processing site. The brown grease within the holding vessel is thermally conditioned to adjust viscosity so that it may be drawn through one or more pumps to increase pressure for atomization in a boiler. The heat of the brown grease combustion is applied to grease trap waste in the containment vessel by heating tubes immersed in the grease trap waste in which a heat transfer medium circulates and gives up its heat to the grease trap waste to thereby promote stratification of the grease trap waste and production of the brown grease oil.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 4, 2010Publication date: February 9, 2012Applicant: DOWNEY RIDGE ENVIRONMENTALInventors: Ronald L. Publication number: 20120030998Abstract: Relatively high speed methods for increasing the bulk density of coal particles without impacting the coal particles and an apparatus for compacting coal for making metallurgical coke. The method includes depositing coal particles onto a charging plate external to a coking oven. The charging plate has side walls, and at least one movable end wall to provide an elongate bed of dry, uncompacted coal having an upper surface on the charging plate. The uncompacted coal is compacted by passing a vibratory cylindrical compactor along a length of the uncompacted coal for a number of passes sufficient to decrease a thickness of the bed of coal to less than about 80 percent of an original thickness of the uncompacted coal. The vibratory cylindrical compactor has a length to diameter ratio ranging from about 1.4:1 to about 2:1.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 3, 2010Publication date: February 9, 2012Applicant: SUNCOKE ENERGY, INC.Inventors: Michael P.
