Abstract: The helmet appliqué assembly of the present invention permits a helmet wearer to upgrade the ballistic prevention capabilities of a traditional helmet quickly and efficiently. The helmet appliqué can be provided as part of a helmet appliqué system and/or assembly that includes internal-side connection means for attaching to a helmet and external-side connection means for receiving any of various external items such as identification tags, mounts and external equipment or attachments. The appliqué element can comprise various types of material, including, for example, ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE).

Abstract: A combination headgear assembly and protective eyewear system includes protective eyewear that attaches to a headgear assembly via magnetic connectors. The headgear assembly includes an adjustable headrest with first and second ends. The first end connects to a first spherical capsule having a first side wall, and the second end connects to a second spherical capsule having a second side wall. The protective eyewear includes a vision blade with a first end attaching via a first finger to a first telescoping member while a second end attaches via a second finger to a second telescoping member. A first magnetic connector is positioned between the first telescoping member and the first side wall of the first spherical capsule, and a second magnetic connector is positioned between the first telescoping member and the second side wall of the second spherical capsule.

A second region adjacent a first side of the first region includes a first compression gradient increasing in compression pressure in a direction toward the first region. The first region includes a consistent compression pressure that is a higher pressure than or the highest pressure of the adjacent increasing pressure gradients.

Abstract: A jacket to be worn by a driver of a vehicle, such as a motorcycle, in which hand-grips are fixed to the rear of the jacket. A pair of hand-grips may be mounted on the upper rear of the jacket, with another pair of hand-grips optionally mounted on the lower rear of the jacket. The hand-grips have ends which are fixed to the jacket and a central portion projecting rearwardly from the jacket and have a length such that they can be grasped by a hand of a passenger of the vehicle to provide increased stability to the passenger. Among the many different possibilities contemplated, the jacket may have hand-grips that are sown or riveted to the jacket, which may be collapsible or flexible, which may be of specific lengths, and which may be concealed by various means, including a zipper enclosure.

Abstract: Traditional pajama pant legs do not stay in place during sleep, and elastic-bottomed sweat pants are not flattering to most women. The pants proposed herein solve both problems by providing a multi-use garment that is flattering while also providing warmth and sleep comfort. The pants can be worn for sleep or lounging during cool weather, and yet convert to a flattering style that is appropriate for casual wear in public. These pants have ribbed cuffs at the ankles, which can be used in two ways: 1) the cuffs can be pulled down over the feet for warmth while sleeping or lounging; or 2) the cuffs can be worn at the ankle with the drapey pants fabric hanging down around them, hiding the cuffs underneath and making them appropriate to be worn in public. Further, the cuffs can be turned up or down, easily accommodating both longer and shorter legs.

The interior of the cover connects to the outer shell of a helmet in a plurality of locations using connectors, which are attached to the helmet or are provided along the periphery of a helmet-surrounding attachment strap about the helmet perimeter. It is preferred to provide a horseback riding helmet cover that provides an outward look of a cowboy hat or other fashionably styled cover while concealing the presence of the helmet. The cover may comprise a unitary structure or a segmented assembly having joinable body region and brim region over the given helmet.

A film feeding lever is coupled to the film winding shaft in a gear coupling manner and hinged to the main body. A ratchet means prevents the film feeding lever from rotating in a reverse direction. In one embodiment, the rod assembly may include a first portion, a second portion, a locking assembly, and a tension adjustment assembly. The locking assembly may include a threaded bolt, a cylindrical sleeve, a cylindrical locking portion, and at least two securing pins. The locking assembly may allow a user to adjust an overall length of the rod assembly by allowing the first and second portions to move with respect to each other. The rod assembly may also include a tension adjustment assembly which may include a tension adjusting spring, a tension adjusting cylindrical tube, a spring clip, at least two rivets, and at least two spacers. The tension adjustment assembly may allow a user to make small changes to the length of the rod assembly at one of the ends without moving the first or second portions with respect to each other.

The equipment has an inlet valve to fill the basin, an outlet valve to empty the basin, and a control system to perform a wash sequence as follows: closing the outlet valve; opening the inlet valve to selectively fill the basin with water or a mixture of water and cleaning agent; then, periodically opening the inlet valve to top up the basin with water or a mixture of water and cleaning agent; finally, opening the outlet valve to empty the basin. All the steps of the wash sequence are performed according to a predetermined timing schedule.

Abstract: A device for cleaning debris from a target surface. The device has a sole plate with permanent cleaning material, such as bristles, and a removable/replaceable pad. The device also has a replaceable, on-board supply of cleaning solution. The pad/cleaning solution may be replaced when depleted and replaced with a new pad/cleaning solution or may simply be replaced with a new pad/cleaning solution when that pad/cleaning solution is more suitable for a particular cleaning task.
