Abstract: According to aspects of the disclosure, provided is a transmission control system to enable smooth engagement of meshing engagement means When establishing a forward gear position by engaging the meshing engagement means and a forward clutch while a vehicle is stationary. For example, when a synchro device is operated so as to establish a predetermined forward gear position, it becomes difficult to smoothly couple a first speed drive gear to the input shaft by the synchro device. However, temporarily engaging a reverse clutch during the process of operation of the synchro device allows a reverse torque to act on the first speed drive gear to apply torsion to a power transmission path between the first speed drive gear and a driven wheel. Furthermore, a repulsive force is applied and generates backlash between the synchro device and the first speed drive gear, thus enabling smooth operation of the synchro device.

Abstract: A device for pressing a rack onto a pinion engaged with the rack, in particular for a steering system of a motor vehicle, comprising a pressure piece, which can be loaded in the direction of the rack and is displaceably guided in a housing, and comprising an adjusting device for compensating play that occurs in the steering system. In known devices, the play of the pressure piece must be set by way of an adjusting screw. This proves to be very complicated and problematic. An adjusting screw is therefore provided, wherein a spring washer is disposed between the adjusting screw and the adjusting device, and the adjusting device has a shoulder and the adjusting screw has a recess, or the adjusting device has the recess and the adjusting screw has the shoulder.

Abstract: A tool for loosening a rotatable, tightenable object having a gripping protrusion consists of a center beam, a handle with two stabilizers, and a rotary beam with two torque rods. The center beam is attached perpendicularly to the handle (at the center beam's upper end) and to the rotary beam (at the center beam's lower end). Stabilizers attached to the ends of the handle allow a better grip for applying torque. Torque rods attached to the ends of the rotary beam press on the sides of the gripping protrusion in order to produce a torque at the center of rotation when a person applies a rotary force on the handle. The tool is constructed out of a single-molded durable material and is used to loosen objects that are over-tightened due to external factors (e.g. heat, moisture, chemical exposure) and objects that are poorly accessible due to nearby external obstacles.

Abstract: A structure of locking pliers includes a movable joint pulling and pushing mechanism directly mounted to a tail end of a second handle. The mechanism includes a movable pulling bar forming a front-end arc recess that is positioned against a middle projection of a movable locking arm straddling between first and second handles of the pliers, so that the second handle can be pushed away by a reaction force to open and cause opening of jaws. The movable pulling bar can be simply pulled by a user to realize an easy push-to-open operation thereby achieving an effect that opening of the jaws is done by a pulling operation of the movable joint pulling and pushing mechanism that is arranged at a tail end of the second handle of the pliers to realize readily opening a clamping mouth of jaws.

Abstract: A rotary face plate per se is simply configured by including only a machine mechanism for rotating it on its axis. In order to achieve the configuration, a swing arm for a rotary blade is mounted on one side of the rotary face plate whereas a driving motor and a swing motor for the rotary blade in each of the swing arms are independently mounted on each of the swing arms on the other side. One side has only a function of rotating and cutting on the boundary of the face plate, and therefore, cutting chips can be remarkably readily removed. Only a rotating motor for a drive source is mounted on the other side. As a consequence, a round tube or a square tube having a square cross section can be completed to be cut only by controlling the motor for rotating the rotary face plate per se at a required angle.
