Abstract: A sheet feeder attracts an uppermost sheet of a sheet stack of a plurality of stacked sheets, and feeds the sheet in a sheet feeding direction. The sheet feeder includes an endless belt, a charging device, and a control device. The endless belt is made of a dielectric material, passes over upstream and downstream rollers, and is disposed above the sheet stack to face the sheet stack. The charging device applies an alternating voltage to an outer circumferential surface of the endless belt to form thereon alternating charge patterns. The control device separately controls the respective rotation states of the upstream and downstream rollers to make a sheet contact surface of the endless belt go slack in sheet attraction and make the sheet contact surface of the endless belt taut with tension into a substantially flat surface in sheet conveyance.

Abstract: A wheelchair comprising a frame, a seat assembly attached to the frame, two rear wheels attached to the frame, and at least one front wheel assembly attached to the frame. The frame defines a front face and two side faces. The front face is defined by one or more structural elements situated along a front of the frame, while the side faces are defined by two top side members and two corresponding bottom side members. The front face and the two side faces result in three non-orthogonal planes, which contribute to the strength and stiffness of the frame.

Abstract: The invention relates to a roller ski which is employed amongst other things for training in classic cross-country skiing during the summer. The object of this roller ski is to achieve a pressure-dependent grip when a kick is generated, with the result that more pressure on the ski from the foot provides better grip. This is in order to simulate skiing on snow, where in classic style pressure has to be placed on the ski during the kick in order to obtain grip on the middle of the ski. The invention is based on a common principle. Roller systems with free roll both forwards and backwards are combined with roller systems with one-way roll, in such a manner that when the pressure on the roller ski from the skier increases, the roller system(s) with one-way roll will be activated to an increasing extent as the pressure on the ski increases, with the result that the ski obtains grip thereby enabling a kick to be generated.
