Abstract: A gas shower device having gas curtain comprises a first gas shower unit for injecting a reaction gas, thereby forming a reaction gas region, and a second gas shower unit. The second gas shower unit arranged around a periphery of the first gas shower unit comprises a buffer gas chamber for providing a buffer gas, and a curtain distribution plate. The curtain distribution plate further comprises a plurality through holes for injecting the buffer gas, thereby forming a gas curtain around a periphery of the reaction gas region. In another embodiment, an apparatus for depositing film is provided by utilizing the gas shower device having gas curtain, wherein the gas curtain prevents the reaction gas in the reaction gas region from being affected directly by a vacuum pressure so that a residence time of reaction gas can be extended thereby increasing the utilization of reaction gas and film-forming efficiency.

Abstract: A milking teat cup liner including a rigid shell comprising a head portion having a skirt and a barrel housed within a shell. A shell liner with an oval tapered barrel and sidewalls having thinner longer axes and thicker shorter axes adapted to collapse inwardly along a minor axis from an open position while maintaining adjacent openings in the vacuum channel. The barrel has two locking wedges mounted to its outer surface to lock the liner in position. The liner has a short milk tube with a series of compression ribs running down its length, allowing it to compress without collapsing and to distort into an oval cross-section without closing the open internal tube. There are at least two notches between the compression ribs to allow the short milk tube to bend approximately 90 degrees relative to the liner without restricting milk flow to a milk claw.

The first compartment is the viewing area having openings in the side walls that permit water to flow out of the viewing area while retaining jellyfish and flow into viewing area in a manner that keeps jellyfish suspended. A spillover riser is located between the first and second compartment that defines a channel through which the first and second compartment communicate. The second compartment has an air inlet providing the motive force to circulate water throughout the aquarium and introduce air bubbles to operate a foam fractionating device the inside the aquarium. The third compartment provides an area for placement of filter media and other necessary devices to keep jellyfish alive. The channel below the viewing area provides communication between the second and third compartment.

Abstract: The present invention is an aquarium system in which the interior of the aquarium may be accessed through a push window. The aquarium window allows for expeditious access to the interior of the aquarium without the burden of dealing with an aquarium lid or cover. To expose the interior of the aquarium, the user pushes the top portion of the from panel and then lifts the bottom portion of the front panel. Users may access the aquarium interior without removing, and temporarily storing, a heavy and burdensome aquarium lid or cover. This less arduous system provides access to the aquarium's interior allowing for faster cleaning and feeding of aquatic life. The aquarium system also fosters increased humidity to encourage tropical plant growth within the aquarium system and provides natural pond like views to observers.

Abstract: A pet toy makes a sound when bitten or squeezed by an animal. The toy contains a resilient shell that substantially surrounds the sound-producing material. The toy also contains a core constructed of an elastic material located beneath the sound-producing material. The sound-producing material is a plastic material such as polyethylene terephthalate, which deforms when external pressure is applied to it, creating sound and vibration. In an embodiment of the invention, air permeates the sound-producing material, the core is hollow, and acoustic ports are located at each end of the toy, all to enhance its sound generating characteristics. In another embodiment, a strand is attached to or passes through the core of the pet toy. In another embodiment, an elastic outer sleeve is attached to the sound-producing material at various locations between their surfaces, to reposition the sound-producing material to its original orientation after an external pressure of force is released.
