Abstract: A ballistic vest is formed with an integrated suspension system for supporting the duty belt directly from the ballistic vest. Front and rear support straps can be tunneled into the structure of the ballistic vest and terminate in clip members formed with an interior slot or cavity into which the duty belt can be positioned. The duty belt is loosely contained within the clip members to permit shifting relative to the ballistic vest to the comfort of the officer wearing the apparatus. The clip member can be formed with a latching clevis to engage the strap for positional adjustment of the clip member or with a plurality of horizontal slots for the threading of the strap. The ballistic vest can be manufactured with the appearance of a uniform shirt so that the ballistic vest can be worn as an external garment as part of the officer's uniform.

Abstract: A shin guard sleeve for use in holding a soccer shin guard in position adjacent a person's shin includes a sock having a foot portion and a leg portion extending upwardly from the foot portion, the upper portion includes an upper end defining an upper opening and includes an exterior surface. The shin guard sleeve includes a sleeve member coupled to the exterior surface of the upper portion of the sock, the sleeve member having an interior surface such that an interior area is defined between the sock exterior surface and the sleeve member interior surface. The sleeve member includes a closed lower end and an open upper end opposite the closed lower end. The open upper end of the sleeve member is configured to receive the shin guard into the sleeve member interior area.

Abstract: A lightweight and portable bicycle cuff is disclosed to protect the lower leg, pants, and shoe of a bicycle rider from the effects of dirt, grease, and an exposed chain and front gear(s) while having minimal impact on pedaling by the bicycle rider. In certain embodiments the bicycle cuff provides increased visibility to traffic while riding. In some embodiments the cuff includes a flexible, water resistant woven material which conforms generally to the rider's ankle and foot by means of tailored shaping of the woven material, a strip of reflective material along the rear ankle area, and a loop and hook style closure on one side. In these embodiments the cuff covers from just above the ankle to approximately one third of the way down the front of the rider's shoe and just over the edge of the back of the rider's shoe.

Abstract: An apparatus and method are provided for an invisible belt incorporated into a garment of clothing. A form-fitting belt portion is incorporated into an interior portion of a garment. The form-fitting belt portion is attached to the interior portion of the garment, such that the belt is completely contained within the interior portion of the garment. The form fitting belt portion may be loosely connected to the interior portion of the garment so as to be not viewable or visible from outside of the garment. The invisible belt further comprises an attachment mechanism on the interior of the garment to facilitate attachment of the form fitting belt portion to the interior of the garment. The form fitting belt portion preferably comprises an elasticized material, such as spandex, Lycra, hosiery material, nylon and other similar elasticized materials. The elasticized material may also be comprised of Viscose.

Abstract: Water-resistant waders may incorporate a waist lock system to reduce the likelihood of water entering the waders below the wearer's waist area while the waders are being worn during water-based activities, such as fishing or hunting. The waders may include a waist lock system formed of a ring of water-resistant material that may be firmly positioned around the waist area of the wearer such that it may create a flap and seal structure. If water reaches the top portion of the waist lock system, the waist lock system generally may prevent or at least minimize the water that may penetrate the waist lock system and enter the waders, particularly below the wearer's waist area, such as the wearer's feet and legs.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a jacket/coat designed to provide an enhanced range of motion and airflow between the inside and outside of the jacket. This is accomplished by having a layered construction comprising different fabric/textile materials where the enhanced range of motion and airflow are desired. The jacket/coat in accordance with the present invention particularly provides an enhanced range of motion for a wearer around the shoulders and arms. This enhanced range of motion may be especially beneficial when the wearer is engaged in a physically demanding activity or any activity benefiting from a wide range of movement by the wearer's arms and shoulders.

Abstract: An adjustable, configurable hat is described that can be configured to accommodate a variety of hairstyles. In general, the adjustable, configurable hat has a crown member, an enlarged opening and a panel that is releasably attachable to the crown member. In one example, the adjustable, configurable hat generally has an open configuration and a closed configuration. In the closed configuration, the panel is releasably attached to the crown member by the fastening mechanisms, covers the enlarged opening and generally has the appearance of a hat that is not adjustable and configurable. In the open configuration, the panel is releasably attached to the inside of the crown member by the fastening members such that it is not visible when the hat is worn and the enlarged opening allows the wearer of the hat to wear a variety of hairstyles while wearing the hat. In both configurations, the fastening mechanisms and the panel are hidden by the crown member.

Abstract: A diaper cover to prevent access to diaper contents by the wearer. The diaper cover has tight fitting closures around each leg of the user and a rear-access waist adjustment system. The waist adjustment system can utilize a belt type system with Velcro or a buckle, although other similar systems can be used. Access to the waist adjustment system by the wearer is prevented by using a flap that is secured in place over the adjustment system by attachment devices, such as buttons or snaps.

Abstract: A pair of pants that allows a wearer to easily don and remove the pair of pants while the wearer wears other articles of clothing, apparel or footwear (such as shorts, gym shoes, golf shorts or boots), a cast, a leg brace or the like. The pair of pants has a waistband that encircles a waist of the wearer of the pair of pants, a first leg having a first inner leg seam and a first outside leg opening, a second leg having a second inner leg seam and a second outside leg opening, a crotch seam between the first and second legs, the pair of pants being made of a fabric that is slidably supported on the waistband, at least a portion of the pair of pants enabling the fabric to slidably move on the waistband to enable the wearer to increase a size of at least one of the first outside leg opening or the second outside leg opening to facilitate the easy donning and removal of the pants. The pants have overlapping portions or wings that can wrap around the pants to close the first and second outside leg openings.

Abstract: The invention generally relates to footwear for golf, and particularly to a footwear system for improved athletic performance. The invention provides a footwear system for golfers in which shoe-cushioning elements and sock-cushioning elements interact to prevent slippage between a golfer and the ground. Cushioning elements are arranged according to precision measurements of maximal stresses that occur between the sole of the feet and the ground at different moments throughout a golfer's swing. Using a system of the invention, a golfer avoids unpredictable slippage during each shot and also positions their feet consistently shot-after-shot, with the result that ball travel is commensurate with club choice and physical abilities.

Abstract: A headwear device includes an endothermic reactor and a trigger to initiate an endothermic reaction in a reactor while the headwear device is being worn on a wearer's head. The headwear device may preferably be utilized in, or conjunction with, a motorcycle safety helmet or similar crash protection device. The headwear device is intended to prevent or delay the onset of brain damage as a result of serious trauma or head injury.

Abstract: A head guard is provided which has a fabric layer and a padding layer. The head guard is stretchable between a relaxed configuration and an expanded configuration. The expanding configuration has a convex shape such that it can conform to a head of a wearer. The head guard can be worn by a wearer in combination with a helmet.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a helmet that includes an outer shell, a heads-up information system that comprises a display, and an attachment assembly. The heads-up information system is movable from a storage position within the outer shell to a use position in which the display of the heads-up information system is visible by a user, without obstructing the field of vision of the user, when the helmet is worn by the user. The attachment assembly is coupled to outer shell and the heads-up information system, and is operable to move the heads-up information system between the storage position and the use position.

Abstract: A reinforced visor for a full-face helmet intended to be used by dragster pilots is disclosed. The reinforced visor is able to be removably attached on a full-face helmet provided with an opening defining the field of vision of the pilot wearing the full-face helmet and is able to be entirely covered by the reinforced visor in order to protect the face of the pilot. The reinforced visor has a main visor able to be removably and pivotingly attached on the full-face helmet and a secondary visor is fixed on the exterior surface of said main visor.

The pneumatic bed includes a bottom panel of air barrier material and top panel of air barrier material connected by a side panel of air barrier material which extends around the perimeter of the top and bottom panels; the panels being welded or otherwise fused together to define an air chamber. A valve or valves are secured to the panels in an airtight fashion for the introduction of air into the air chamber for inflation of the pneumatic bed. Additional features such as pockets, perimeter pneumatic support tubes, flocked top surface and the like may also be incorporated onto the panels for additional functionality. In at least one embodiment, a side table is integrated to the sidewall panel. The internal cavity of the side table can be in fluid communication with the internal cavity of the bed.

Abstract: Disclosed is a dual-use blanket for covering an infant car seat carrier, and for use as a conventional infant blanket. The device comprises a blanket having a built-in aperture that extends over the handle on an infant carrier, a flap being attached to the blanket on a first side, and removably attached on a second side by a fastener, and a drawstring for attaching the blanket to the infant carrier. When the carrier handle is extended, the blanket can be placed thereover, allowing the handle to extend through the aperture. This provides a cover for the carrier that prevents the infant or child contained therein from being exposed to the elements. The blanket can be removed from the carrier and used as a conventional blanket. In this configuration, the flap is closed with the fastener, which prevents exposure to the elements through the aperture.

The all-foam mattress assemblies may include foam comfort layer(s), foam transitional layer(s), and a foam engineered core. The all-foam engineered core may lessen a density of a mattress assembly by comprising thermoset member(s), and engineered geometric thermoplastic material profile(s) adjacent to the thermoset member(s). The engineered geometric thermoplastic material profile(s) may be disposed in a parallel or substantially parallel arrangement.

Abstract: A cleaning and disinfecting composition comprises a long-chain alkyl polyamine, such as dodecyl dipropylene triamine; a long-chain quaternary ammonium salt, such as N,N-didecyl-N,N-dimethylammonium chloride; and a metal carbonate salt, such as potassium carbonate, all in aqueous solution. A sequestering agent, a long-chain alkyl polyethoxylate, an alkanolamine and an anti-corrosive agent may also be present. The composition has a pH of at least 11 when diluted to an in-use concentration, and may be used to clean and disinfect hard surfaces, such as medical, dental and surgical implements, walls, floors, sinks and hard furnishing surfaces, or soft surfaces such as bedding, upholstery or clothing. The composition is effective as a virucide, a sporicide, a bacteriocide, a fungicide, and against yeasts and moulds, without harming the substrate cleansed.

Abstract: The invention provides an improved boot support and shaping insert system to keep boots attached together in an upright position when not being worn. The system includes an elongated curved shaper mirroring the natural tapered silhouette of the lower leg. The system self-adjusts to adopt the shape and fill the cavity of the boot without applying pressure that causes the boot to stretch. The system's snug fit supports the weight of the boot when inserted and allows a convenient means to carry and transport the boots. A portion of the system protrudes when inserted in a boot; this section has a handle facilitating manipulation, insertion, removal and transport. The protruding section is also fitted with visibility identifiers to diminish the risk of tripping hazard by increasing the boot's visibility. The system includes a mechanism allowing a pair of shapers to adhere to each other as a system or remain detached.
