Abstract: A protective garment of elastic ergonomic material covering a wearer from his or her waist to their thighs comprises waist and thighs straps, and a central panel of cut resistant fabrics and comprise knife cut resistant and scissors shearing obstacles in various patterns and combinations in order to delay, impede and deflect such tools' blades. Both waist and thigh structures enable adjustable girth via a lock and as such create a flexible and a non-elastic rigid and connected overall protective structure resistant to forcible attempts of undressing by pulling and or by cutting or shearing the garment.

Abstract: An apparatus comprises a gauze layer comprising a gauze material, a first area, a gauze first side and a gauze second side. The gauze first side is configured to at least contact and cover a user's eyelid area where the gauze material mitigates irritation of the user's skin. A paper layer comprises a paper material, a paper first side and a paper second side. The paper first side comprises an adhesive area being configured to extend beyond the first area for removably joining to the user's skin. A tape layer comprises an opaque flexible material, a third area, a tape first side and a tape second side. The tape first side comprises an adhesive. The third area is at least as large as the first area. The gauze layer, the paper layer and the tape layer are combined to form a sleep mask.

Abstract: A support frame for a knee pad has three major components that interlock with each other to form a rigid and strong frame capable of supporting the weight of a person who is working on knees. The three components are molded of a rigid plastic material. The upper component has a knee seat and a strap for wrapping around the leg of the wearer; the lower component has a cuff for wrapping around the wearer's ankle. Fastener devices for attaching the knee pad and the straps to the support frame are either incorporated into or provided on the support frame.

Abstract: A knee pad system includes a knee pad attached to a base that includes integrated roller balls on its exterior surface. The roller balls can roll within the base and facilitate movement of the knee pad over a flat surface when worn by a user. The improved knee pad system can include a locking mechanism selectively preventing the roller balls from moving within said base. The knee pad of the improved knee pad system can be selectively detached from and reattached to the base.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a multi-layered design for an article of apparel such as swimwear. In particular, at least one layer may include a stretch resistant matrix made of a thermoplastic polymer, a silicone or other similar material to provide additional support and modesty to certain areas of the apparel, such as the bust area. Further, a method of manufacturing the article of apparel is also disclosed. According to aspects described herein, the layers may be integrated using techniques to increase the overall integrity of the apparel.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a reversible shirt that may be worn in at least four different configurations. According to aspects described herein, a first torso element may be joined to a second torso element to create a pair of side seams, a pair of shoulder seams, a neck opening and a waist opening. The widths of the first torso element and the second torso element proximate the waist opening may differ to create curved side seams. The curved side seams allow for variation in drape against a wearer's torso.

Abstract: A garment has a pocket with an opening located at the waistband of the garment. A strap includes a stretchy membrane and at least one of the opposite ends of the strap extends into openings in the garment to form a horizontal pocket opening. The strap may be made of an elastic material. A fabric can conceal part of the strap and may surround or be attached to the strap. The pocket lining has front and rear walls attached together, with top horizontal portions of the front and rear wall attached behind an exposed portion of the strap. The walls of the pocket lining may be attached to two join seams of the garment. Stretching the strap outwards will open the pocket thus accessing belongings stored therein. When the pocket is closed, the elastic material of the strap provides stretch and recoil, securing any belongings safely inside the pocket.

Abstract: Articles of apparel include: (a) a garment structure having one or more fabric elements structured and arranged to provide a close fit to at least one predetermined portion of a body (e.g., area(s) of the body for which enhanced position sensing and/or feedback are desired); and (b) a body position feedback system engaged with or integrally formed as part of the garment structure. The body position feedback system may apply higher tensile or constricting (compressive) forces to selected portions of the wearer's body and/or stretch resistance, which can help stimulate or interact with nerves and deep tissue receptors located in various portions of the body. The increased forces at selected locations of the body give the wearer sensory feedback regarding the position or orientation of these parts of the body and can improve or accelerate development of “muscle memory.

Abstract: There are provided garments that comprise a first panel, at least a portion of an edge portion of the first panel having at least a first fastener; and a second panel, at least a portion of an edge portion of the second panel having at least a second fastener operable to be mated with the first fastener, the second panel being attachable to the first panel at at least one attachment point. Abstract: A process for making an exercise glove includes the following steps, not necessarily in order. First, forming a surface into an outer flap and an inner flap. The inner flap is mechanically coupled to the outer flap by a hook and fastener. Next, applying a palm pad and a palm grip to the surface. This includes the following steps: first, mixing a silk screen ink compound into a mold. Then, heating the silk screen ink compound until it becomes hard. After that, permitting the mold to cool. Following that, placing the mold immediately adjacent to the surface. Next, subliming the silk screen ink compound to the surface. Then, permitting the glove to cool. The silk screen ink surface provides substantial grip permitting a user to better grip items by hand.

Abstract: This invention relates, in general, to a unisex, underwear or an undergarment for the lower body region. Specifically, this invention is providing an extended crotch opening for the purpose of relieving bodily wastes in an unsecure area, all the while staying as visually clothed as possible. The zipper opening is operational with a pull cord for hand cleanliness. This undergarment establishes a low level of nudity while providing the highest level of dignity, comfort and protection so desperately needed.

The cushion has material with sufficient flexibility to deform under a weight of the user and sufficient resilience to return to its original state when the weight is removed. A supporting face contacts the support surface and is characterized by a plurality of points. The supporting face is contoured such that, when the cushion is in an unloaded configuration, a first subset of the plurality of points contact the support surface and a second subset of the plurality of points do not contact the support surface. When a user then sits on the cushion so that it is in a loaded configuration, at least some of the points in the second subset are displaced under the user's weight and contact the support surface. The cushion thus both bends and compresses to distribute the weight of the user.

A plunger is disclosed that mates with the evaporative base and has a plunger bell standoff that mates with the evaporative base standoff to further keep the plunger suspended slightly above the drainage bottom. The outer perimeter of the bell of the plunger is slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the evaporative base body to allow for air circulation between the plunger bell and the evaporative base. Good air circulation and drying promotes cleanliness and reduces the incidence of mold, mildew and bacteria on the plunger and base.

The valve also includes a vent system comprising a control chamber in flow communication with the fluid inlet of the valve and a vent outlet in flow communication with the fluid outlet of the valve, and a solenoid for venting fluid venting fluid from the control chamber to the fluid outlet. A pressure sensor, such as an electronic pressure transducer, senses the fluid pressure of fluid within the vent system. When a predetermined pressure threshold is reached or exceeded, the solenoid can be energized to release fluid from the control chamber.

Abstract: Toilet water tanks are mounted to the bowls with two bolts through two open holes. While rubber washers are used to seal the open bolt holes at the bottom of water tanks, water leaking is a century-old issue for many do-it-yourselfers. This invention designed a water-tight bolt housing to seal off the bolt hole. This invention eliminates the water leaking problem around water tank mounting bolts.

The rope clasp device comprises a base, at least one, but generally two swinging doors, and a lock. The swinging doors are pivotably coupled to the base in order to be moved between an open position and a closed position. In the closed position, a pair of channels for passage of a rope is defined between the base and the doors. The channels are defined by a plurality of clasping teeth to retain the rope therein.

Abstract: A mounting feature for a cable tie is provided in which the mounting feature has at least one divided retention component. The center-most edges of the at least one divided retention component contact a mating article on the edge of the mating article, such as the threaded portion, decreasing the amount of fastening force required to affix the mounting feature of the cable tie to a mating article while not compromising the optimal amount of required extraction force. A method for affixing the mounting feature to a mating article is also provided.

Abstract: The subject matter disclosed and claimed herein, in one aspect thereof, is a safety strap device that reduces the likelihood that a tailgate ramp will prematurely detach or disengage from a vehicle during the loading or unloading of an article via the tailgate ramp. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the safety strap device comprises a strap portion with a first end, an opposing second end, a block portion with an opening therein and more than one fastener for attaching said strap portion to both a prior art tailgate ramp on one end and the block portion on the other end. In a further preferred embodiment of the present invention, said safety strap device is adjustable to accommodate a wide variety or user applications, truck ramps and vehicles.
