    Abstract: Feeding appliances have an elongate continuous conveyor (14) which serves as a distributing conveyor. The distributing conveyor is required only in certain usage situations. Said distributing conveyor must thus be detached when not in use. Detachment is also required for the transportation of the feeding appliance by road. In the case of known feeding appliances, the attachment and detachment of the longitudinal conveyor (17), which serves as distributing conveyor, is cumbersome. The invention provides for the longitudinal conveyor (17) to be connected to a running gear (12) of the feeding appliance by being hooked on or hooked in. This can be realized by virtue of the longitudinal conveyor (17) being simply lowered or raised by a suitable lifting means, for example a crane. Time-consuming and difficult alignment work is thus eliminated.

    Abstract: The invention belongs to the field of plasma chemistry technology, and it involves a method of methanol conversion. Some electric discharge methods, such as dielectric barrier discharge (DBD), corona discharge, pulse corona discharge, glow discharge, etc. were used to selectively excite methanol molecule. The reactant residence time, temperature, pressure and carrier gas/methanol mole proportion were regulated to convert methanol to the objective products. The present invention mainly used methanol as raw material to synthesis ethylene glycol (EG). This method is a one-step synthesis technology, non-catalyst, environmental pollution-free and high selectivity to the EG. Moreover, methanol was a sustainable resource which can be obtained by many approaches. In this invention, ethanol, n-propanol were also obtained together with EG by the optimizing of reaction conditions, so this technology has great industrial prospects.

The second magnet is disposed proximate a second side of the substrate holder. A magnetic field exists between the first magnet and the second magnet and a flow of the plasma substantially follows the magnetic field. The structure is disposed between the second side of the cathode and the first side of the substrate holder and is positioned proximate a region where the magnetic field between the first magnet and the second magnet is weak.

    Abstract: A portable hydrogen and oxygen supply system produces gaseous hydrogen and gaseous oxygen from water. It separates the gasses and vents them into two separate chambers. The supply system creates water disassociation through an array of concentric hexagonal hydrogen collector tubes, anode rods and a cathode matrix, all of which are submersed in water. The anode rods and cathode matrix are supplied DC electrical current. The water separates (disassociates) as atomic hydrogen is drawn to the negatively charged anode rods and the atomic oxygen is drawn to the positively charged cathode matrix. The hydrogen, on its path to the anode, passes through the walls of the hydrogen collector tubes to be collected in the first chamber. The oxygen is unable to pass through the walls of the tubes, and remains outside the tubes to be collected in the second chamber.

    Abstract: A sintered compact magnesium oxide target for sputtering having a purity of 99.99 wt % or higher excluding C, a density of 3.57 g/cm3 or higher, and a whiteness of 60% or less. In order to uniformly deposit a magnesium oxide film, a magnesium oxide target having a higher purity and a higher density is being demanded. An object of this invention is to provide a target capable of realizing the above, and a method for producing such a target. While a magnesium oxide sintered compact sputtering target is produced by hot-pressing a raw material powder, there is a problem in that color shading occurs in roughly ?60 (within a circle having a diameter of 60 mm) at the center part of the target. Conventionally, no particularly attention was given to this problem. However, in recent years, it has become necessary to investigate and resolve this problem in order to improve the deposition quality.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an anode for a lithium secondary battery. The anode includes a current collector in the form of a wire and a porous anode active material layer coated to surround the surface of the current collector. The three-dimensional porous structure of the active material layer increases the surface area of the anode.
