In order to prevent an electric primer from operating due to a power noise induced by a magnetic field or generated by the falling of a thunderbolt or other factors, such as a communication device, a shield layer formed by weaving or braiding a conductive fiber, such as a carbon fiber, or weaving or braiding a copper-plated tin wire, is formed in the wire and percussion unit of the claymore mine. In order to discharge a power noise introduced into the wire and the percussion unit to the earth, a power noise discharge adaptor including a plurality of diodes, a TVS, a GDT, and an SPD is formed. Accordingly, the introduction of a power noise can be fundamentally blocked, and a power noise can be safely discharged to the earth if the power noise is introduced.

Abstract: A fragmentation structure is provided with improved performance e.g., fragmentation, projectile generation, storage, and manufacturing. An embodiment can include an open fragmentation structure that can be separated into individual components that can include a structure body section with a compartment, a removable initiator or detonator, a top cap section having an aperture configured to accept the removable initiator or removable detonator, and an explosive. An exemplary explosive can be preassembled to fit within the structure without a need for pouring in an explosive. An exemplary structure or top cap of the structure can receive an embrittlement treatment increasing its fragmentation characteristics. An ability of the structure to be easily disassembled allows for safer storage and a longer shelf life. A design of an exemplary embodiment of the structure allows it to be used with a wide range of explosive materials in addition to many types of removable initiators or detonators.

Abstract: An optical coherent tomographic imaging system includes means for introducing a 180-degree phase inversion in the interference fringes, and generating a two-peak shape point spread function (PSF) in the frequency domain for the interference-based tomographic imaging system. The system further includes means for achieving sharper resolution than the diffraction-limited spectral bandwidth in the tomographic imaging system through subtracting the two-peak shape from the original Gaussian PSF. Means are provided for removing the ghost fringes in the tomographic imaging system, which is introduced by the self-interference between the different layers of the sample arm. The apparatus is configured to realize the real-time super-resolution swept-source optical coherent tomography (OCT) such that the sensitivity of the system is enhanced by suppressing the noise floor in the frequency domain, as well as removing the ghost fringes.
