Abstract: A sensor device for an electronic apparatus is provided with: a sensing structure generating a first detection signal; and a dedicated integrated circuit, connected to the sensing structure, detecting, as a function of the first detection signal, a first event associated to the electronic apparatus and generating a first interrupt signal upon detection of the first event. The dedicated integrated circuit detects the first event as a function of a temporal evolution of the first detection signal, and in particular as a function of values assumed by the first detection signal within one or more successive time windows, and of a relation between these values.

Abstract: To calibrate an accelerometer, a rotating member is rotated over multiple periods, thereby causing the accelerometer attached to the rotating member to repeatedly turn over. A processor obtains acceleration measurements as the accelerometer turns and determines a set of local minima and maxima of the acceleration measurements. Based on these local minima and maxima, the processor determines a sensitivity of the accelerometer. The processor stores the sensitivity for use in adjusting subsequent accelerometer measurements, thus calibrating the accelerometer.

Abstract: Flexible film electrical-test substrates with at least one conductive contact post for integrated circuit (IC) bump(s) electrical testing, and related methods and testing apparatuses are disclosed. The backside structure of an electrical-test substrate comprises a flexible dielectric film structure. One or more fine-pitched conductive coupling posts are formed on conductive pads disposed on a front side of the flexible dielectric film structure through a fabrication process. A first pitch of the conductive coupling post(s) in the flexible dielectric film structure is provided to be the same or substantially the same as a second pitch of one or more bumps in an IC, such as die or interposer (e.g., forty (40) micrometers (?m) or less). This allows the conductive coupling post(s) to be placed into mechanical contact with at least one bump of the IC, point-by-point, during an electrical test to electrically testing of the IC.
