Abstract: A manhole (40) for desert environments where temperatures can be very high and environmental conditions such as erosion exert different challenges on sewage infrastructure, the manhole including a steel pipe telescope (450) matched to two circular heat resistant sealing rings (460, 461) in a concrete cone (400). The concrete cone is attached to a concrete manhole (410) with a heat resistant seal (462). The position of the concrete cone is stabilised by a large concrete slab (470) at the bottom of the manhole. The cover (430) of the manhole rests on the steel pipe telescope (450), and when the ground level changes, the steel pipe telescope can simply be repositioned within the concrete cone to match the changed ground level. All concrete parts (400, 410, 470) can be casted on-site, which means that preferably both the construction and the maintenance of the manhole happen at the installation site.

Abstract: A construction machine has a work implement and a work implement operating device. The work implement has a boom, arm, and bucket. A limit velocity determining unit determines a limit velocity of the boom from the limit velocity of the entire work implement, the arm target velocity, and the bucket target velocity. The distance when the blade tip of the bucket is positioned outside of the design plane is a positive value and the velocity in a direction from inside of the design plane toward outside of the design plane is a positive value. The first limit condition includes a condition that the limit velocity of the boom is greater than the boom target velocity. When the first limit condition is satisfied, a work implement control unit controls the boom to match the limit velocity of the boom and controls the arm to match the arm target velocity.

Abstract: Apparatus for allowing ventilation as usual for underground tunnels through a ventilation shaft opening to atmosphere yet preventing underground flooding from surface waters pouring through the grate, comprises an assembly that fits within the ventilation shaft and includes one or more panels held in an upright home position that allows ventilation as usual but is releasable to rotationally gravitate to a lower sealing position closing a passage between the ventilation shaft and atmosphere to prevent water from entering the underground tunnels. A panel position indicator moves from a hidden position to a visible position with lowering of the panels to visually signify that the panels are lowered and that flooding protection is activated.

Abstract: An urn vault includes a base and a top portion which has one or more side walls, wherein the side walls protrude downward. Each opposing side wall is bonded length-wise to each adjoining side or to itself, creating a seamless cast top portion open at the bottom that lowers onto the base. Attached to the base are guide rails, bonded equidistant from the outside base edge on all sides of the base. This “rail system” is the fastening guide for the top portion which lowers onto the base, wherein the inside of the side walls interact with the outside edges of the four guide rails. In certain embodiments, the urn vault may be comprised of one or a combination of polymers. A system is further included.

Abstract: An outer operating device for a door lock includes a mounting plate mounted to an outer side of a door. A driving wheel is pivotably mounted in a mounting seat fixed to the mounting plate. A driving member is pivotably mounted in the mounting seat and meshes with the driving wheel. A distal end of the driving member is operably connected to a latch of a latch device. A handle is pivotably mounted to the mounting seat and includes a lever. A movable block is slideably received in the driving wheel and includes a notch. When a pressing end of the lever is not aligned with the notch of the movable block, the latch can be retracted to an unlatching position by pivoting the handle. When the notch is aligned with the notch of the movable block, the latch cannot be retracted by pivoting the handle.
