Abstract: An environment control method, an environment control apparatus, and a power management system are disclosed. The environment control method includes the following steps. Generate scheduling control information for an air conditioner according to somatosensory data and environment condition data by a scheduling module. Record an operational condition of the air conditioner at a different time point to generate an operation history by a monitoring and statistics module. Determine by a management module whether an amount of operational conditions not matching the scheduling control information in the operation history is greater than a first threshold during a time period. Execute a first adjustment process by the management module in order to adjust the scheduling control information when the amount of operational conditions not matching the scheduling control information in the operation history is greater than the first threshold during the time period.

The cooling circuit includes a pump and a second heat exchanger in fluid communication with the first heat exchanger via a second working fluid such that the first heat exchanger is liquid-cooled by the second working fluid. The controller operates the brushless DC motor at multiple different speeds to accommodate multiple different thermal loads experienced by the refrigeration system. Each of the speeds corresponds to a different thermal load. The controller modulates the speed of the brushless DC motor to maintain a desired temperature of a temperature-controlled space within the temperature-controlled device.

Abstract: A vapor compression heat pump (VCHP) system for an electrified vehicle and a method for de-icing the VCHP system is provided. The electrified vehicle may include a vehicle cabin, the VCHP system, and a controller. The VCHP system may be in thermal communication with the cabin and include an outside heat exchanger and a compressor. The controller may be configured to, in response to detection of a predefined ice condition associated with the outside heat exchanger, output commands to adjust a speed of the compressor to influence a temperature of refrigerant flowing through the compressor such that the refrigerant carries an amount of heat sufficient to eliminate the predefined ice condition within a preselected time period. The predefined ice condition may be a condition in which the heat exchanger has accumulated ice or is likely to accumulate ice.

Abstract: A refrigerator appliance including a cabinet defining a chilled chamber and a first slide assembly is provided. The first slide assembly is mounted to the cabinet at least partially within the chilled chamber. The refrigerator appliance also includes a door with a frame having a first frame member rotatably attached to the first slide assembly at a first pivot joint. The door is rotatable about the lateral direction at the first pivot joint between an inwardly tilted position and an outwardly tilted position. In the inwardly tilted position the door defines an acute angle with the first slide assembly, and in the outwardly tilted position the door defines an obtuse angle with the first slide assembly. Such a configuration may allow the door to form a more complete seal with the cabinet of the refrigerator appliance despite any, e.g., surface variations of the cabinet.
